To quote you, “This is wonderful”, says it all. I’ve owned one for two and a half years and you’re absolutely correct, the 4C makes you want to drive just for the sake of it. My motorcycles have hardly had a look-in since. The feeling never gets old. Thanks for your perspective.

I looked at and drove a lot of cars including Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder and Corvette Z06 and nothing came close to the driving experience this car provides. Maybe in time I will want to do some modifications but for now she's fine as she came right out of the box. Such a shame this little car is no longer available new in the US.
This video made me buy a 4C. The criticisms from regular car journos mean nothing given the sheer enjoyment the car offers, and its to-die-for looks. When it comes to practicality you just find a way, and make compromises. Thanks for your content!
Being the proud owner of a 4C Spider I am, as expected, slightly biased. Trust me, the car is addictive. OK it has it's flaws, but what a pleasure it is to drive it. Mine is well specced with full leather seats, dash, and s/wheel, so it doesn't look plasticky inside The Spider has better rear visibility and, on the 17"/18" wheels and without the sports package it is actually is quite a good ride. I 'get' the car, a lot of people don't, but then again a lot of people haven't experienced the car.

Bought a 2015 Launch Edition new in Feb 2016 and has been problem free....in fact the 4Cs have proven to be pretty much bullet proof (go to ALFA 4C Forum for more). Love mine and always look forward to a drive. Any warts are minor and easily remedied.....make sure you have a good wheel alignment and soon as you can.... ditch those stock P Zero tires....they tend to emphasize tramming. Kudos for ALFA for making a car like this which is a real honest drivers car and not going down the path other sports car are taking....bulked up cushmobiles with lots of cup holders and electronic silliness like lane change warning, auto braking, 360 degree cameras.

Great job on the video. Just picked up my 4C Launch Edition a couple weeks ago. Very fun car and a bargain at the low mileage used prices you can currently find them at in the U.S. I also have a 996 C4S and they are apples to oranges. I am glad my 911 is a manual but the 4C twin clutch transmission suits the car IMO. As for transmission choices, I heard Alfa would only make one or the other because of modifications that would have been required during creation of the carbon fiber tub so they decided to go with the paddles only. This car for me feels like a modified car from the 80's, like an early RX7 with a 13bt in it. The 4C just has the added bonus of modern supercar looks and a fast flappy paddle gearbox.
nice vid, i think the 4c is a nice alfa. if they would bring a successor like the alfa Romeo 4C Mole, this would be a nice thing to have. The 4c has nice gokart feeling. Great vid as always :)
Queen B: Thanks for another awesome video. Question: I have a 350z and want to upgrade to a sports sedan thats just as fun as the 350z. Under $70k. Maybe M3, RS4 or other cars in that category. Only gripe of the 350/370z is its sometimes a bit hard as a daily. Limited space etc. Whats your recommendation.
Brilliant video. You really managed to put the feeling of a 4C into words perfectly. I love the look of the 4C, recently saw one at the dealer in a satin gray, looked great. But I've always felt let down by the interior. Especially for the price point.
It comes with various levels of interior....the US version has leather dash and door cards and lots of upgrades....it is fine. Frankly though if you buy this car it is because of the driver experience and how involving this car is....not for the number of cup holders. I have a 2015 LE coupe bought new....dead reliable and a blast to drive....and yes a real looker.
You go girl - I'm liking your videos. If I were to spec a female presenter from scratch you'd be close, which means you must have some quite pricey options (but probably make up for it with good mileage around town).
Yes it will be nice to have a manual and it will take the driving experience to much more engaging level but it will be slow to 60 mph and quarter mile. The car’s rpm goes too fast to the redline, and the drivers needs to have both hands on the steering wheel because it is too twitchy. But the TCT is fast enough to shift at 130 ms, and the sound bangs and very mechanical like a SCUD transmission. So the setup is good enough to experience a raw driving experience and having a manual has multiple disadvantage in its performance.
Syed shahroz Ali Jafri . What do you mean by that sentence? F1 drivers use automatic gearboxes and it’s not much for Vettel or Hamilton? People who buy this car will have another car that is 6 speed manual. This is the perfect 2nd sports car in the garage.
Nice review - I'm still not sure how can they create a "sports car" that is only available in auto.... "manual mode" doesn't count - where's the heel'n'toe downshifts? There's just that layer of interaction that goes missing with any auto - I own and have driven a lot of auto and manual cars and unless you're going to be sitting in traffic 95% of the just time or chasing laptimes for your forum signature, there's no point in making a drivers' car in auto - certainly not ONLY auto. The fact that you've pointed out that you need to be "on it the whole time" makes me even more worried in an auto. Even the best DSG auto in the world is still a complete deal breaker in any road-going sports car.
This automatic works really good for spirited driving. ( not great for slow driving) I dislike automatics too, but this car and the gulia changed my mind about automatics.
You can't even compare this to German hot hatch. Alfa 4C is only made for having fun. Not even close to anything practical. Nobody propably buys this for everyday driver. Let's compare both of those prices after 15 years...
You can’t compare this to an A45. It’s all about feed back, looks, and driving experience. This can only be compared to a 4 cylinder Lotus Elise/ Exige . 20 yrs from now this will be expensive and the A45 will be cheap.

Not actually as fast as I expected, guess the Ring has a lot of big fast straights and corners where power for higher speeds is vital

I’ve hired a 4C for a day. It’s incredibly light and fast and good for a second car but definitely not a daily driver

I would definitely buy a 4C. Once I turn in my A45 I'm getting a 2 seater and this has to be near the top of the list.
I would love a A45, going to be my next car. Currently have a A220d AMG Line, with Adaptive Suspension and Brabus tuning. Its quick, but its no A45.

I would have one with a manual transmission.
If one can get a test drive be sure you can afford it. Otherwise you will be living miserably forever. Trust me.
