Indie games devs are probably the most creative people in the video game industry. Always great to hear indie games reccomendations
For a second I thought I commented this cause I used to have the same pfp
@@RileyB_226i see
Yeah when they aren't a rip off of an 8 bit or 16 bit game, that's an allegory for depression or any other mental disorder, and it's a rouge-like or a metroidvania style platformer, or a game that takes a cute nostalgic childhood thing and makes it scary and twisted
@@samuelmelendez7566tell me you only play on steam or just console games without telling me.
I love how indie games aren't restricted and aren't being told what to do, but they have freedom and a lot of indie games are really creative and vibrant because of it
Wow, indie games i havent played that i ACTUALLY havent played
See, I told ya! :)
Always love learning about some new hidden gems. Indie devs are the best!
This is the first time In ages I've watched a video about indie games that didn't at any point use the terms rouge like souls like or Metroidvaia
Kiro, I’ve been here for a while and I have to say that I genuinely enjoy your content. I could listen to you tell me Sonic History or Disc Art or the impact of banana prices on the triple A gaming corporation for hours. Don’t give up and keep it up. You have our support. I’d love to hear what we as fans can do to support your channel.
I greatly appreciate the kind words. It does mean a lot. Honestly, if you wanna support the channel, just watching the videos, hitting the like button, and leaving comments is enough for me.
All these look so cool!
I will certainly try them out, thanks for the recommendations!!
What I love the most about indie games is the story it's always so interesting!
Kiros schedule is getting better!
Wow these games are pretty big surprises and very unexpected for sure. Thanks for showing them
My shoutouts go to Annalyn, a modern arcade game platformer with gameplay similar to Pac-Man, and Attack of the PETSCII Robots, a modern game developed for several different retro computers. The MS-DOS version is on Steam (so is Annalyn). PETSCII Robots is a top down strategy shooter game where you have to figure out creative ways to take out all the robots in each stage. It has some really good music.
wow. a video about "media that you don't know" where I actually dont know the media given. great video
if you make a part 2, you could include vibrant venture, its a really nice and polished 2d indie platformer game and very underrated
Interesting video!🙂
In case you are curious about unknown games (hidden gems), there is an indie time travel game called "No Time"
Cool video consept love the video
An indie game I don’t really here talked about much that I really liked is What Lies In The Multiverse. It’s a 2D platformer where the gimmick is you can switch between neighboring universes. It’s also got a really good story. Def recommend it.
I was working on an indie game but because of Unity's new fees I couldn't finish it, and I was so close to finishing and publishing
use an older version of unity, it has different guidelines
@@dabmasterars I used the 2021 version, will that work?
@@GamepadStudios yes, as long as you don't update
My recommendation is 2089 Space Divided, a new RTS with CC vibes Indie from Germany
I play a lot of indies, but bot all games are for me so I have to hand pick after some heavy research n analyses to avoid the feeling of unfunny experience in a good game that wasn't meant for me
In There really reminds me of an old indie game called Pid if you're looking for something semi similar (though not horror)
I wish these games were on steam. Was really disappointed when I couldn't play them...
missed turnip boy commits tax evasion
I love indie games so much. They always create and experiment new things in video games. Unlike AAA companies though, they always do the cookie cutter gameplay with zero new features.
It's always interesting to see what unique ideas indie games will mess around with next.
Also if you are looking for more games I have a few for you. Gato Roboto, a Black and white Metroidvania with a short campaign and a solid experience, Dog World, a black white and *red* Metroidvania which reminds me of the emotions of cave story, carrying a solid plot and a surprisingly detailed world. Toree 1, 2, and Green Hill are all fast paced speed run Ps1 style games for 99$ each and they have kicking visuals and a great soundtrack. Check ‘em out!
Downwell is a great game, so is Tower Climb. You might like them.
@@SECONDQUEST I actually own Downwell! I’ll be sure to check out the other one, if it’s anything like Tower of Heaven I’m sure it’ll be a blast
Wheels of arellia is pretty cool too
whens kiro gonna mention little guy 2 by w3rn1ckz
Pizza To where?
I was one of the first 100 people to click on the video
2:44 or you just play superhot
YOO
Undertale is the reason I love video games it was my first and favorite game
I actually played all of these 🤓🤓🤓 (I never even heard them)
ok
You mean to tell me that NOBODY HAS DONE RULE 34 OF DAGGERS MCBLACK YET????
Maybe SOMEBODY should get on that!
