Stardew stresses me out. Having limited time in a day and having to wait if you miss something in a season. My brain just forces myself to try and be efficient and get as much as I can done with the time I have.
I wish stardew valley can save anywhere instead of having to go to bed to save
I used to love playing stardew valley until one of my friends told me I was missing so many seasonal stuff!!
Now I can't handle the pressure of trying to get everything on time 😅
Yeah I felt bad when I missed out on some of the Spring stuff on my first playthrough. I had to wait all the way till the next year to get the stuff I needed haha
Yeah I think the reason why Animal Crossing New Horizons really took off during the pandemic was that it perfectly represented what people were missing from the real world at the time. Being a part of a community with others and being free to do what you want.
Games Mentioned:
-Unpacking
-Stardew Valley
-Harvest Moon
-Spiritfarer
-Animal Crossing

@Bryyun I'm not a cozy gamer but I knew all of these already burp
Stardew Valley was my main comfort game during college, or at least during summer. But once I got New Horizons, it immediately became one of my dailies. My main routine is checking for recipes, selling some stuff at the Cranny, getting my luck for the day, doing a Kapp’n island tour, and selling what I found on the island, all while checking off some Nook Miles rewards. I’ve clocked over 1000 hours into the game, and I haven’t even spent time decorating my island.
Animal Crossing is one of those games that's hard to put down once you really get into a routine of playing it.
@@kirotalksyt Exactly. Which is admittedly why I’m so hesitant to start playing New Leaf.
love that you uploading more frequently recently
I'm glad you do! Sometimes getting videos up in a timely manner doesn't always work out, but I'm trying to keep some level of upload frequency.
Kiro never fails to make my day
Having subscribed to this channel just yesterday, and also having been getting back into playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons recently, it was pretty surprising to see a channel I'd just subscribed to talk about a topic that I'd been spending hours on. 10/10 video, I still need to play Stardew Valley.
Love the vibes of ur vids. The quality is so good with ur calming voice and relaxing osts
i recommend VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action, you are a bartender and just talk to people make them drinks on your own pace. you get breaks to have a smoke and also chill in your apartment with your kitty
I have to say this is some amazing editing and the way it ended is perfect. A villager peacefully falling asleep. Anyways once again another amazing video
The animation in spiritfarer is immaculate
Glad i found your channel.
Also after playing 300+ hours of animal crossing. I would say i got everything out of it... at least what i could. I had every fossil so i remember that my save file has like 100 dropped fossils just laying around because i already had every single one collected and i kept on it so one day with those and my fruit trees, i could make millions (lmao)... even tho i paid my debt.
Im getting Stardew on Christmas that game is so relaxing and good omg
If there were to be a followup to this topic - Slime Rancher (particularly the original - sequel is still in development as of now) fits very well into this category.
Another farming-esk game, but flipping the idea of farming just fruits and vegetables with the namesake Slimes eating them - promoting going out into the wild for supplies and coming back home to collect as many plorts as possible to eventually sell off into a ever changing marketplace.
There's a number of other mechanics - such as hidden pods with items throughout the world, sidegames unlocked as you tradeoff goods to other ranchers, the various hybrid slimes you gain from usage of plorts, and still more.
It's one of the few games I ended up playing for multiple hours, without realizing how much time has passed.
Babe wake up kiro just uploaded
Another great video from great channel!
3:20 When it comes to alpacas I cannot help but just think about the 1 million alpacas saying from Johnny Depp😂
Another great video, thank you
You are a special youtuber ngl
Thanks, that's very kind!
I know it's dumb to nick-pick one thing you said right at the end, but I'm not sure more action-oriented games feel scripted, especially certain games like Call of Duty, Red Faction or Battlefield. These three franchises are probably the best examples I can give for how unscripted they really are, & how different it can always be. With Red Faction, the game's are most notably about destruction, nearly everything can be turned to rubble or debris which makes for an interesting experience basically allowing you to go anywhere (with enough explosives). Battlefield & Call of Duty may have very scripted missions but the NPCs all feel like real people, acting real & being given personal names & ranks in their respective military, which makes it all the more sensible to try & protect them from dying, as many times your NPC companions can & will die if you don't defend them however if your determined enough you can save them & it may feel like you actually saved a life just because how deep each character, no matter how important to the campaign, is. Obviously these aren't the only examples, another good one would be Half-Life since you can choose to save scientists & guards in the first game & rebels in Half-Life 2, although they aren't named they will comment on situations & thank you for helping them on occasion.
Still, I can see what you mean & I can understand it. Many action-oriented games do feel scripted in the end, however the key word would really be 'many' not all, because while some feel very linear a lot of others can be open to your own paths & your own dedication. Oddly enough before you uploaded this video I had a sudden urge to return to AC: NH on my Switch after 11 months, safe to say the other villagers were shocked lol.
Cool video, kind of funny because I noticed a trend of a few videos talking about cozy games. couple weeks ago koramora put out a video about cozy games. And since there isn't many popular cozy games they all talk about the same games lol You had a good twist on what you were talking about though!
Stay cozy and spooky this season
My gf recently found Stardew Valley. God have mercy
i really wanna enjoy spiritfarer but the simple task of keeping on top of remembering everyones fave foods and stuff and keeping everyone happy stresses me out bigtime haha
I am literally playing unpacking while I watch this video 😆
Oh wow, that's a perfect coincidence lol
@@kirotalksyt While I have your attention, I just want to say that I love your videos and I can't wait for the next one.
any cozy game will eventually became a min maxing nightmare waiting to happen..
I do feel that way from time to time, I can't deny lol
The animal crossing series is a gem
5:03 I wonder how many people have failed to move in all their stuff real life as good as they do in this game.😂
I played ACNH to death and built 2 houses
Earlier this year, I got into PowerWash Simulator whilst listening to music !
The only farming game I've ever played is slime ratcher and I loved it
Spiritfairer is a prequel to Foster's Home of Imaginary Friends frfr
Hi from Brazil :)

No furrys allowed.
@@sanjivinsmoke2149 stop it please
Pokémon should count as a cozy game because it was designed to be cute the world and the creatures and characters
I have to say that personally I've never had great success actually relaxing with most games that are marketed as relaxing.
Stardew Valley always starts out fine but already a few days in and I am obsessing over how to get the most money possible. Same with and Story of Seasons games.
I can't relax with Animal Crossing because most progression is locked behind waiting a day and the game asks you to get on each day and that is just a sure fire way to get me to lose interest and forget about the game.
My personal Cozy/Relaxing game(s) for as long as I've paid attention to this sort of stuff has been Pokémon, specifically Gens 2 and 3. I haven't grown up with these games so I have no nostalgia for them but imo Crystal, Emerald and FRLG are the quintissential Pokémon games. Honorable mention to Lets Go, I actually quite like it and its the first game out of the Switch library I'd pick up if I was sick/down and wanted a cozy playthrough of a game.
I actually considered talking about Pokémon in this video. While battling isn't particularly relaxing, Pokémon games usually have quite a few other things to do that're much more chill, like exploring routes, filling out the Pokedex, and doing minigames
New Leaf on 3DS is the best Animal Crossing.
Did I hear COFFEE COW???
RuneScape...
lol 445
Minecraft counts
0:22 Wait hold on. You're seriously putting a game on there that is about moving your boxes and moving into a new apartment as cozy and relaxing? When was the last time you moved? Moving is stressful as hell with all the crap you have to move and where to put it in all this stuff and whether you even have room for it.
