Creations needs a comment section so we can call out shitty mods and the chumps that publish them. Managing load orders shouldn't be a thing at all. You're telling me the can't make the mods load themselves in order based on the location needed to load correctly. I'm sick of spending more time managing mods that i have to pay for to not break my game for no reason or if there's an update of if the Internet goes out on a single player game.

So looking at this mod, what it does: speeds up the process of using console commands to unlock stuff. But doing that means you lose out on XP and possibly break any quest or interaction scripts attached to you unlocking something the standard way. At that point I'd rather have a Skyrim style projectile/spell that unlocks stuff. As for the mod design itself, just about EVERYTHING with that crash site is dubious: the disappearing body, the scripted death, getting an alert from your ship's AI despite AI being contraband, the layout of the debris, having an intact yet inaccessible cockpit, etc.

hard pass... $3 for that is fucking bs... shades easylockpicking makes all locks 2 clicks so you dont loose the incentive to find and collect the digipicks....this ruins immersion and wastes money...ill be giving this a 20 min of paid mod garbage spotlight review i dont mind playing the villian...youre too nice (not a bad thing! dont change it) but im not....at all.... hahaha...they will definitely be saying dank is talking shit...yep i am hahaha... thanks for taking one for the team with this mess... were getting a big influx of scam and shit mods...we need to do some weeding
It's a smart mod, noobs don't get the fancy pick. And it becomes a rare item, had there been no spoilers, and if the timer on the explosion or the explosion size was more brutal. Meaning only those with the most elite skills to quickly grab the item could possibly grab it. Probably could add a feature to poison or environmental damage anyone opening inventory menu near the crash site.

I would like to point out 1 thing. It is a verified creator and a paid mod which makes it achievement friendly. There are some players out there that do not like to break achievements.
First OMG Crimson dude thanks for the laugh your a silly man. Second this is this mod authors second attempt at a Mod that had already existed in a better form before for free. If your gonna charge money for a mod you should probably make it better than its free competition. btw one of the better free versions is Mordrid's Easy Lockpicking
No offense to winter at all. There is a free skeleton key mod a free easy pick mod. The cheat menu mod has easy lock picking and there's another DJ pick mod I forgot the name of. It's kind of weird to pay for something that disables your achievements

This in essense means I don't have to create a separate creations character save file to use the mod i can use it in my vanilla save this is what your basically paying for... To have it in your vanilla starfield. Just think about it for a sec... Lets say your modded load order is warped so u have to scrap the save files delete the ghost files etc etc well now you dont have to go do and look for crap because u already did it in your vanilla save file you'll always have it no matter what happens to your creations character save files your vanilla characters save files will always be there... Im not trying to rationalize buying this mod im trying to mke it make sense to those who dont see the benefits if that makes sense 😆
I use the FREE Digipick Skip mod that yes is a cheat. But after a year of spinning dials I think it's safe to say that one has shown the skill to solve the puzzle. So I've been using it for several months and saves so much time. It doesn't come with a quest it just does what it says and again its FREE. I've got enough unplayed side quests to play that will take months to complete. So nothing against Wynter Digipick Overhaul. But why pay 300 credits when you can get a free mod. Just the way I look at things. To each his own.
The skeleton key of starfield looks broken and mission is stupid and 300 credits too much now if had a full sidequest or mission and 30 mins to 1 hour to get it then with in the quest sins it is like this not for me
I suppose XBox players can't use console commands so this mod would be a (PAID) way for them to do that. I'd just get a free mod to disable lock picking or making them super simple if I wanted to avoid it. I'm used to it by now though.

It is less that they're unsolvable and more that there are multiple pieces that can fit in certain spots but only one of them is the correct choice. When solving locks it is best to: bump the Security skill until matching rings turn blue, focus on pieces with many or intricate pin patterns first, line everything up before ever slotting the pieces, and working from the inner ring outward is always an option.
Yeah, if you fail to solve the mini-game, it most likely means that you have placed some of the pieces in wrong spots. Correct me if I'm wrong, there aren't any outright unsolvable lockpicking mini-games in the game.
You keep making omissions in your reviews. The explosion was a puzzle. You could have shot the cryotank beside the fire and walked up to body and removed the digipick. Or, you could have outrun the explosion, then walked back and picked the digipick from the body. You don't stop the explosion you don't get the key. Calling the design stupid is of course your choice, but that kind of puzzle is pretty common in games and some enjoy them. Aside from that, the major critique is that it is a paid cheat mod. It is, but I am up front about that. Folks who share your view can avoid it. As to not working on some locks, that is a limitation of the game unless you use a script extender, which is impossible on XBox. The scripts have to keep a list of common objects (about 1000) which are legitimate targets for unlocking. Your example was an artificial one where you used the console to lock an item not in the list. And your complaint about needing a real digipick in inventory is another game limitation, not fixable by script. If you don't have a digipick in your inventory, the game will not display the minigame, which means no script event is emitted telling modders that a lockpick attempt is happening. I therefore ensure you always have one in your inventory. You do a lot of script critiquing saying what an author should have done, implying they don't know what they are about. At least you preface that by the admission you don't actually know about scripting.
The body disappeared on my end, and I checked multiple times. It's not a great puzzle design if most players are going to die immediately on their first attempt. Are you saying the body doesn't actually despawn after the explosion. As for omissions, I'm not sure what exactly you think I've left out. If you watch the video I do show it working in a real world interaction, but as for the door to the toilet and the locker, I did say I dont know of any toilets that are locked in game anyway.

Not bad For 300 credits, this sounds like it would be similar to The skeleton key... I would definitely want this mod! If you have a Digipick prototype that cannot be broken, discarded or destroyed... Definitely useful and would be a great quality of life feature.

If you read the description, it says you have to be careful in obtaining the digipick. You have to grab it and run.
It is specifically *SENTIENT AI,* not AI in general. Otherwise VASCO would be banned as well.

I just use the sfse auto-unlock mod. Digipicking at all in this game kills the game flow for me.
