    The voltage differential between the battery and what your trying to to step it down to in QC3 12v mode is too close together or the same. The voltage drop will be due to this most likely. In fact you can damage the module by having the step down voltage differentials too close together. You need at least 1 volt of difference, 1.5v to be safe. You should 100% charge your 12v battery so its at peak voltage or use a 14+ V psu, and do the test again on QC3 12v setting, likely you will have a different result.

    Please try connecting both the modules together to a 80-90 watt laptop power supply ( as tht is the most cheap and portable supply everyone will have). And then test both the USB on fast charging modes with loads on both of them. It will be very uselful as it will tell us that will a 80 watt laptop power supply work with 4 such modules at the same time.
    Thanks

    • @richardp4548
      @richardp4548 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes most switch mode buck regulators create a lot of noise from the square wave fed to the inductor. It is possible to screen it but most manufacturers don't bother. Better to learn how to achieve this yourself.

      Why? It is a buck converter, so anything from 8v upwards should work just fine. It only requires 2-3v headroom above 5v. More than that will not "improve" it's ability. His 12v battery is almost flat (should be around 14v).....that is the only reason it can't supply enough amperage.

    can I use it with 3.7 v li ion cell

    • @gurribuy
      @gurribuy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, it will work but the voltage needs to be more than 5volts. So you will need to connect at least 2 lithium cell in series for it to work.

      @gurribuy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@woodway8300 you need to make few sets of 3 cells in series, then connect these sets in parallel. this should give you about 11v, then you can use this charging module.

    bro this is work with 3.7 volts

    • @gurribuy
      @gurribuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This converts higher voltages into 5v, 9v and 12 volts.
      This can't convert lower voltages to higher voltages that mean it can't be used with 3.7 volts.
      I know you want to use this module like a powerbank but you can't. Hope it helps.

      its not for powrbank, powerbank circuit uses a boost converter to boost battery voltage to 5v. This module is a buck converter it reduces higher voltage that is 12v to 5v .

    Sorry mate but is the pub manufacturer paying you for shilling them? You say that it works "perfectly fine at 9 volts " but after 1A, the voltage sags and at 2A it is below 7.5V. At 12V it fails horribly, clearly this is shit design, how can you say it works perfectly fine?
    It is below 7.5V, how can it be close to 8V when it is closer to 7?

      My battery was really bad, I also tested it with computer power supply 12v rail.
      it easily outputs of 2.5 A at 8.8 volts if you use a good battery or a capable input power supply.
