- The 2023/2022 Grand Cherokee Altitude Limited is the most practical Jeep I have ever owned! This has to be the most enjoyable and functional luxury suv I have had yet but will it last? This is my honest review on the all new Jeep Grand Cherokee. Don’t forget to Subscribe, Godspeed!

Such a nice athletic refresh. Just took delivery of a red Limited 4x4 with three major packages, all worth the $$.. Luxury Tech II, Pano-roof, and Black trim. Almost $59k MSRP, however after significant negotiations with multiple dealers, I bought for $50,700, over $8k off. Looks like the consumer is back in the drivers seat!! Perfect size SUV.

Yeah you better off getting the bill of sale from the dealership and go to your credit union bank to get the best deal through your bank these dealership not trying to give out good payment deal

I purchased a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 2 row about a month ago. I added 3 upgrade options: ($6200) the dual panoramic sunroof, luxury tech group 2 (for cooled seats) and the "upgraded" Alpine system. I paid just under $60,000. The interest rates are through the roof right now so I paid cash. Overall, I love this vehicle and have wanted it for a long time. I am not impressed (actually disappointed) with the sound system and find it lacking volume. I have a dealer appointment to have it addressed, the steering wheel volume control doesn't work at all. This trim level doesn't have the window down with keyfob feature that I use all the time in my car. I also can't change the color of the interior ambient lights (I know, very minor). I am crossing my fingers for many years of enjoyment from this vehicle. I chose the midnight sky color with the wicker interior and it's beautiful! The "blue" is very dark and often mistaken for black. I also chose the 18" wheels because I am so over the low profile tires that were available on the bigger wheels.

I’m looking at a 2023 limited altitude tomorrow after my 2018 altitude got totaled last week (not my fault luckily). I can honestly say that it protected us very well and we all walked away. My Jeep handled great and I spun that poor Sentra completely around my car.

had a 2017 Limited and it was great. No problems with just regular oil changes for 108k mi.
The 2023 model is much improved. You won’t be disappointed

The 2016 Cherokee I had was with the v8 hemi. It was powerful. I like this new look though.
I really wanted to get a V8, I just couldn’t Justify the extra price for 50hp especially since I won’t put an exhaust on this one haha
I ordered a 2023 GC L with Lux Pkg 2, Black App, and 2 amazon screens in the back, it was ordered on April25th still waiting cant wait to get.

I love everything except all the piano black. I was in between waiting and getting the new Laredo 4x4, or getting a low mileage 2021 altitude. Went with the altitude in sting grey, I love it. I’m excited about this new generation though

I really like the new body style this generation of Jeep Grand Cherokee. Probability the Limited with Tech group might be an option that I will go for. Not sure if you think the sunroof may worth the price.
If you really like a sunroof go for it but either way you can get a nice ride!
Zac I want to see you articulate it 😝 lol. You actually say ZF with a foreign accent 😆 ZF is a awesome transmission. I had it in my 2020 Supra GR as well. My previous 2022 Cherokee trailhawk had a 9sp and it drove really good too !!! It’s the 10sp transmission that I don’t like. Nice daily driver it makes.

Nice ride. Did you have to special order the Limited Altitude because all I see online is the standard Laredo Altitude?
I didn’t but that was a special package the GM of that store had ordered. It’s definitely not a common package but should be ordered by dealers more often!
@@GodspeedZRZ My local dealer is attempting to order a Limited with the black appearance package, but the factory is temporarily not allowing it. The dealer did not mention a that a Limited could be ordered with the Altitude package, only the Laredo could be ordered with the Altitude package.

bought the wife a Red Velvet Altitude two months ago. Not a limited so missing the fog lights which I don't care about. Very happy with the powerful V6 but the fuel economy of 21.5 is a bit disappointing since the wife does 65 % highway driving. Just got first oil change at 7000 miles and 30% oil life left. Overall very happy with it. Drives better than our 18 Compass Limited but not as nice as my 21 Laramie Hemi.

Is there a way to turn off the headlight (low bean) and just keep the running light on? No matter I switch it to auto or parking light, the low bean is always on.......
I’m not exactly sure, that is something I would have to check out. I believe you can though!

I thought the Altitude is a different model from the Limited? Their website says it goes Laredo, Altitude, Limited etc...

My 2014 GC Altitude has had 4 warranty repairs. Are the new ones more reliable?

Great review. I was looking at getting this trim and the Overland. I went with a brand new Honda Passport Trailsport instead because of timing.

why does it seem the Altitude and the Limited Altitude have a larger wheel gap in the rear wheels? Just seems that other Limited vehicles without this package have a tighter wheel gap.
I’m not sure, could either be a difference in suspension or tire size. The one I have does not have the air ride suspension. Let me know if you find out!
I hate that it’s not available to come with a hitch from the manufacturer. Bad idea…my 2008 GC came with a hitch. I want to upgrade to the new one but I do use the hitch a lot
You can get the hitch on it, I just didn’t get it on this one. It has a removable cover on it. Godspeed brother!

It’s not altitude anymore it’s just called black appearance package or the 22E package as per the window sticker
No, mine shows limited altitude on the sticker. At the top as well as the altitude package in the added equipment.
Interesting I wonder if it is different dealer to dealer. It is a black appearance package in Florida. It is clean for sure nice looking jeep. In my opinion it’s the best so far.
@@buckwheatley1520 I bought it from my old dealership and the GM there orders some pretty unique packages for sure. He seems to be able to hit the hot spots for each vehicle at the best price and this was definitely it for me haha

@@GodspeedZRZ I have a 2019 grand Cherokee blacked out and I am thinking about going to this. I currently have a sun roof, but I just realized I never have open. I don’t even open the cover to let light in, let alone open open it for air. Just wondering if I should just bag it at this point.
That’s what I did this time the last few vehicles I got with sunroofs I never opened so figured why waste the money again haha
@@GodspeedZRZ I also just realized. None of these come with all black inside. It’s like a gray up top. I test drove it and all and I didn’t even notice. My 2019 is all black in.

@@GodspeedZRZ I love my Grand Cherokee but for $60k a fully loaded Ford Explorer ST with a twin turbo V6 and three rows is a better value. Good looking suv though!
