    Can you use extra cake board wrapped with plastic wrap

      If you had a smooth enough edge that doesn’t catch on the scraper, it may work.

    Would u suggest filling inbetween the disks with an icing tip instead?....
    I'm having the hardest time evenly filling in. You make it look so easy lol

      I sometimes use the large “quick icer” tip by Wilton to pipe it on and then smooth it and sometimes I just use my off set spatula. It’s all about finding your rhythm and what works best for you. After some practice you start to pick up your own rhythm and it goes much faster for you. 🙂
