Just happened upon your channel. I really loved this video. I’ve watched so many on smoothing buttercream. And although I get my buttercream fairly smooth, I always have issues with my metal bench scraper. I’ve held the scrapper in a totally different way, per many videos, and scrapper always leaves marks. Which takes time and effort with a hot scraper, and smoothers to remove. The way you hold your scraper is something I’ve never seen. And ditto, going backwards with the scraper. Never ever would have thought of that!!! Definitely trying this technique on my next cake. 👍👍
Absolutely amazing I used your technique to buttercream my daughters birthday cake for the first time and it turned out amazing! I also used your lollipop recipe/method. If only I could show you how the cake looked.
