Hi, did this fix your MTC failure problems? Mine has spit the code at me 3 times in 6 months. Goes away on a quick restart, and is good for a couple month before happening again.

Had issues fitting the healtech to my speed trip1200, got in contact with healtech, they say, 3 cycles of 20 miles an will be nil issues. The first time I tried the healtech had lots of faults show, got them cleared an returned the faulty servo blank. Replaced again how they said, notta prob now. So I'd do the 3 cycles, we tend not to read instructions.

It's been a gem for me since installing, no more errors!

Fingers crossed... no more warning codes. So the exhaust valve is set to stay open and the servo was closing it. I always assumed it was set to stay closed and the servo opened it.

It is indeed, ans this is due to the spring mechanism being set to open as a standard on a horizontal axis. So less stress on the cables and motor to close it from that position due to the cables being vertical, If that makes sense

@@sergeantsodom6969 I guess the engineers know what they're doing. I was thinking that the valve would be closed or partially closed during most riding time and that would be less stress on the servo motor.
I wonder now how it works on the Speed Triple? Open or closed at rest?
Good to hear from you Sarge.

Did you do anything to keep the flap held open in the exhaust?

All that shite on the fixing threads is factory threadlock..KTM build these bikes with vibrations top of the list with that big 1301cc thumping V-twin...same on my Superduke 1290GT, everytime i take a fixing out i clean it on a wire wheel and new thread locker going in,it kinda acts as a lubricant too going back in..Great Channel btw mate, looks like you live not far from me too.

I'm afraid its not thread lock, they were metal shavings from the inside of the threads themselves. I wish it was thread-lock!
Cheers for the comments, Nice to meet more northern scum 👍
