    Yes I’ve also noticed that niod survival 0 is sold out everywhere aswel! I’m in Ireland and it’s sold out/not available in any of the places I usually buy it from! It’s my holy grail and I’ve repurchased it multiple times! I hope they’re not going to discontinue it 😢

    I’ve been loving that Mary and may blackberry essence. It just feels so lovely on my skin. I wanted to try another product from their line but I noticed they had fragrance so I decided to skip it. Really looking forward to trying the yam root moisturizer as I love the cleansing milk from that line. Thanks again for all your awesome recommendations. Hope you had a great holiday weekend and are looking forward to a lovely fall. ❤

    I feel like we need a part 3 - thanks so much Sarah !! Amazing run down. 💖 Just for anyone that doesn't like the reformulated la roche posay cicaplast baume, i've started the Pyunkang Yul ATO cream which is kinda pitched as a similar product... omg it is so so good. More hydrating i'd say, and leaves a lovely glow too.

    I keep watching these skin care videos. There are many , and we seem to use a lot of products, more than ever. I personally use for my face, feet, hands, lips,... I used to choose products with the least additives, which largely left me with Weleda and Dr. Hauschka. At some point I needed something different and could not keep up the same standard. My strategy lately have mostly been to search for a useful ingredient.
    Have you ever done a blood test to check for toxic substances, high levels of bisphenol A, B, phtalats, and what not; the never mentioned stuff in these products the body is forced to absorb. Years ago there were this test done by two journalists; they went to a biologist and had their blood analyzed; the male hardly used skin care and cosmetics, the female did; the results was enough to worry. The woman who used daily skin care came out worse.
    I don`t think much has changed since, the stuff that was tested for were not on any list of ingredients. However, I am still concerned enough to prefer the healthiest products for everyday use.
    Regards

    HI Sarah I do try a fair amount of skincare, but my skin is really reactive and I tend to repurchase things that work really well for me. I do have a bit of hyperpigmentation (I'm 51), but it's more freckles and not melasma (rosacea and eczema are quite enough to deal with thank you). I've been using the BofJ glow deep serum which contains alpha arbutin and my prescription azelaic acid - together they have given me some decent results. I cannot tolerate vitamin c (including the derivatives) in any meaningful concentration, so I have to be very cautious with "brightening" serums. The BofJ is very gentle, but it does have 2% alpha arbutin and doesn't aggravate my skin. I'm just finishing up my 2nd or 3rd bottle this week and I have another. As a bonus it's a nice hydrating serum in my morning routine. The Niod serums have had a sneaky reformulation I think, as the last bottle I bought irritated my skin so much and previous bottles never did - I hate when brands do that it drives me insane (same thing happened with the cosrx snail essence and I used it for years prior to that). best wishes.
    ps I tried the G&G happy barrier moisturiser and I like it. It's nice for the daytime in the Autumn/Fall, but won't be rich enough for the dead of Winter unfortunately. x

      I will check that serum out! My skin is also very reactive paired with rosacea and acne. But I do like to test new products all the time!

    • @lorainemcgillivray77
      @lorainemcgillivray77 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@fornalli If you can tolerate it then azelaic acid will be game changing for your skin, as it treats both rosacea and acne. Start slowly as it can prickle initially but it is so worth persevering with it. The alpha arbutin is available in many forms but the bofj serums are gentle and also affordable (the centella and green tea one is quite nice too). Both mugwort and propolis are ingredients that might be useful too. Hope that helps x

      @@jillshaw4392 I too have sensitive skin. I've been using the Coenzyme q10 Serum for a week now and I really like it. Maybe I'll give the Matrixyl Synthe 6 a try.

    • @whatnext715
      @whatnext715 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used to use both the timeless CoQ10 serum (that also includes matrixyl 3000) and the synthe6 serum together and liked the results. Somewhere along the line I switched to the ordinary matrixyl that also has both peptides. I have sensitive skin and my skin responded well to all 3 serums.
      I’m back to the timeless CoQ10. It’s hard to tell if I’m missing much without the synthe6 serum, but I’m trying to keep the # of products I use limited. I wish timeless made a CoQ10 serum with both forms of matrixyl all together.

    • @paulayarbrough6930

      @@whatnext715 thank you so much for sharing ❤️ That timeless coenzyme q10 serum texture is so lovely. I don't like anything that's super sticky. I've haven't tried anything from the ordinary yet because a lot of people say the texture of their serums tend to be really sticky. Seems like most recommend the q10 over the Matrixyl synthe 6 but I'd still like to give a try.
