One of the few Starline designs as opposed to Drudi. Roberto Marchionne used to work with Drudi before going it alone and startimng Starline. Interesting that Roberto chose to put his own little stamp on this design by flipping the sun and moon to the opposite sides from Drudi. A great design, just got mine and goes so well with my XSR700 in yellow and black speedblocks (60th Anniversary)
Thanks for that additional information and context, much appreciated. I am also a huge fan of Starline designs. I’m sure your setup looks great, your appreciation for detail shows.
Would you recommend AGV Pista RRs for long weekend canyon runs (4-6 hour rides). I don’t commute or daily on my PV4S, I just do weekend fun days or track. Was thinking of getting an RR but heard they’re not great for street use. Don’t wanna blow $1500 on a helmet I hate.
I’ve gotten this question on several occasions, and it’s a tough one to answer. I really love the AGV Pista GP RR, but I feel as if it is made for a specific purpose. Some people have commented that they wear the Pista GP RR as a daily, or that they find it comfortable enough for long rides. Now I don’t know if they are trying to convince me, or themselves. In truth, comfort is a subjective thing. I personally wouldn’t wear the Pista for a long ride, as I think there are more comfortable options for that purpose out there. I am fortunate enough to have plenty of options regarding helmets, so for long street rides I choose something other than the Pista. I would recommend the Arai Corsair-X for the type of riding you are doing. It works great at the track, and it’s all day comfortable. If you were doing just track riding, I’d suggest the Pista.
@@CountGreffi not all of them are $1500 Pistas. I am pretty fond of some of the cheaper helmets, I love the Icon Airframe Pro. The HJC RPS 10, RPHA 10 and RPHA 11 are nice.

@@CountGreffi Thanks for the advice! I ended up copping a Shoei X-14 Marquez Black Concept 2. I had a Shoei GT Air II before, and liked it.
Hello there mate, is this an authentic hand-written signature? Or made by computer?
That piece of paper that comes with the helmet is just a computer generated signature, worthless.
How many helmets do you have as of July 4th 2021? 🤪
🤷🏻♂️
@@CountGreffi I have 200
@@quartercajun71 now that’s a lot! 😜
