I just found out about 4 yrs ago that I have scoliosis at 61yrs old. I've had back problems since my early 20's but was NEVER told I had scoliosis. I went to a back doc a few months ago who said I'd had it since my teenage years....um NO. With all the x-rays and MRI's I'd think a doctor would have mentioned it... especially when I had a laminectomy in my 30's. Anyway, am I probably too old to consider such an invasive surgery? I've lost 4-1/4" in about the last 10 yrs (another reason I believe this was an adult onset)!
I was interrogating myself to check I was in the right video

I have a scoliosis S curve. No, nope, this won’t fix it. What helps me? Spinal injections from an MD.
