This is going to be my next purchase! I've had many rolex sport models so far. I really love the submariner after all of my purchases but I want a submariner that's just a bit more special than the normal version. Something to set it slightly apart.
Got mine yesterday after waiting three years. Just an amazing watch. The micro adjustable band is top notch. Makes my 2005 bluesy feel like a dinosaur…that I still love.
Got one just under three years waiting three weeks ago. I wonder if they are becoming easier to obtain from an SA as other people are saying they have them. A friend offered me an instant £1000 profit but this is a keeper and I love the colour change back to the original Kermit.
Yea….very snazzy looking indeed, certainly a contender over any traditional Rolex same old same old and especially nice to wear on St Patrick’s day while enjoying a Pint of Guinness in Dublin on the green…..🍀👍.
I own both mark 1 and 2 one month apart from two different AD. I'm deciding which one to stay with and can't decide any thoughts out there for me. I also own the 124060 no date. They both look stunning.
@@Fb1907kysf just sold the MK1 a day ago it's nice but the MK2 it's an anniversary with a more dazzle green color that stands out more. It's okay I have more than a dozen other watches I enjoy more than a Sub.
@@torqueofthedevil8145 thanks, like it bothered me keeping two of pretty much the same watch, one two months young and the other two weeks which is the MK2. I got a solid return so I'm good.
Hey man! Great video. Im thinking of getting a Starbucks as well but I am afraid that the green. may be too much for every day use? How has it been for you lately? Are you getting tired of the green? Does it limit you that much when it comes to your outfits, etc.? Thanks very much in advance
I bought a Starbuck 1 year ago, so its the MK1. I was worried about the same thing, but it turned out that I can wear it to almost every outfit and it never looks to shiny or bright. If youre worried about the touch of color than go with the MK1. And I highly recommend you to see them in person, because the green looks Soooo much different in real life.
It’s such a minor variation in color, hardly noticeable. It’s just another tweet in the ceramic color manufacturing Rolex does a lot especially with the Pepsi that constantly has its color formula tweaked.
It stands out like a turd in a punch bowl. It looked like they put the hulk bezel on the one I seen. I passed on the purchase because it didn’t look right.
Sure you can. You just have to make peace with the fact the grey market premium price IS the going rate for this watch, and just pay it. You'll have your watch tomorrow
Say whatever you want it’s a nice looking watch. Shame about the artificial hype brought about by the lack of supply. But then that’s Rolex’s cunning plan, isn’t it. 😅
Very disappointing watch for me. Not even a month and i realized yesterday that the PIP is missing. After looking closely with my phone camera i realized the ceramic bezel has cracked. Don't even remember banging it anywhere as there is no ding on the steel. Is this normal? I have a sub and smp 300 and i think they are hard as rock. Am i unlucky or is this completely normal?
Not "a step above the classic Submariner". Black goes with any colour clothing and is more serious for diving. As previously proven, green bezel was deleted but the black is a professional perennial.
Finally mine arrived ! I’m going tomorrow to pick it up . I’m so excited !!!
Wait list ? How long ? Thank you !!
Mk 2 version is stunning

You forgot to mention that it’s the 70th anniversary version. I’ve got the same watch about a month ago 🐸👌
Congrats on the purchase!

SO GREAT ROLEX'S NEW GREEN BEZEL SUBMARINER DATE WATCH -REVIEW !!!!
does it only come in one size AND what is the price (ballpark)?
Yes, 41mm. The RRP is £9,100. It trades in the secondary market at around £13,000 for a new example.
best Rolex ever
It's an improvement on the MK1 but still not as good as the aluminum bezel Kermit. Black on black is still best though ⚫️

Mk2
Mk1 better and will be rare !

He's a dealer he probably doesn't wear this

That bezel is nice tastefully done. To bad the watch is as scarce as hens teeth.

Considering you talk like a 4th grader raised in Alabama, I don't think your opinion holds much value. @@johnathonmullis4234
The mk2 is more of a Kelley green. 💚☘☘☘
Makes the MK1 bezel look terrible in comparison.
Well, I would buy one but only at the AD 😅 do your homework Rolex and stop AD back door selling ….
You simply won't get one from an AD unless you are a VIP customer
Yeah but you can't actually buy one

Thanks for watching and for sharing your thoughts :)
The new one is not as sharp as the Starbucks. I’m sorry but the shade is ugly
Do not like bright green.
These Rolex nicknames are getting out of hand :D
Mk 1 is much better looking
no chance
Mk2 is a 70th anniversary nod to the original 50th anniversary 16610LV, hence the change in bezel colour
