I am not agreeing with the statement „better value on the watch“ when talking about 2 tone root beer.
Some of the most expensive watches are made of stainless steel only or even do not use precious metals at all. Also the gold value on that bi metal piece maybe something around 1-2k „IF“ really melted down. So the argument is just non sense. I would and I am sure most people would always chose a lovely Hulk over that lil bit femin looking rose gold gmt.
Ones a Submariner and ones a GMT. One is green and one is black, brown and rose gold. I'd imagine these watches appeal to different groups of people. However, if you think a Hulk is worth what the grey market is asking then best of luck to you
