Do you think it puts someone at a disadvantage to take FAR, AUD, REG, and then take BAR? Would be it be better to take BAR after FAR? With TCP having such a high pass rate at the moment I’m starting to think that it might be more advantageous to take TCP after REG. Studying for my CPA now and looking for advice on what order would work best!
Yes, from what I’ve read it’s best to take the discipline section right after the related core section. TCP might be a good discipline section to take with such a high pass rate!
Interesting how FAR's pass rate is similar to last year's regardless of it having less content. All the advanced government stuff would've made it way harder. I walked out feeling like I had no clue on how I did and was a bit surprised I passed it. I probably failed BAR because I only answered 25% of the last 2 simulations cause I ran out of time. Once that's confirmed I wouldn't switch over to TCP just cause tax is my weakness and I feel like I have a good understanding on the BAR material. Time management on test day was the main issue.
You never know with the CPA Exams how you did. I walked out all my exams not knowing for sure. Congrats on passing FAR and fingers crossed you passed BAR!
@@breezysmiles Update I just found out I passed BAR with a score of 79. I walked out of the exam convinced that my score would be in the 60s but I am relieved that it it was not the case.
I passed BAR in Q2 and personally didn't think it was too bad. I'd choose it over again
Congrats!
I'm studying for FAR and will be choosing to take the TCP exam only because I"m in the Tax field, however I'm having nightmares about FAR.
Good luck with FAR. You got this!
