Everyone learns differently. When I graduated, I sat for the exams and did poorly, but because I didn't study. 3 years later I started the exams again with the old materials. I read the textbooks, outlined them and did the flash cards and did very well. Although BEC still took a couple of attempts.
Hi, I enjoyed your video! Thanks for sharing with us. I will make sure that I practice SIMS. So, before you worked any MCQ's, what did you do to prepare for a particular topic (i.e. Leases, Statement of Cash Flows, NFP, Balance Sheet, etc.)? Did you read the book or perhaps you had study guides, and you made intense notes or something? Also, I realize that it's one thing to study, but it's another thing to be able to apply that. So, how many MCQ's did you work on a given topic (i.e. like the ones I mentioned above or other ares)? I heard you mention about the importance of supplemental CPA review courses. Did you use questions from those? Thank you!
Hello and thank you! I would watch the lecture and skim through the book and took notes in the book that I though were important but the study guide didn’t mention. I did all the multiple choice in the lessons the first time through but eventually did all that my study material offered. I did the Ninja questions only for AUD because it was the only section I struggled with in terms of the exam. Hope this helps!
I think it should be fine! I did the same thing and passed FAR the second time. I was still able to recall most of the concepts in FAR but just make sure you restudy for FAR right after you take audit. Good luck!
Becker is the most expensive review course and I wasn’t working at the time so I didn’t have a company pay for my study material (I did get reimbursed after I started working). Also, I saw that Wiley had the most MCQ’s everyone says that you should practice as many questions as possible.
How many MCQs did you solved on each topic of FAR?? any approx number? I did not clear my FAR in first try? I want to retake the exam within month, can you suggest any study tip ?
I did all the MCQ that Wiley offered (if I had to guess I’d say it was 3000 total and about 40 per topic). I didn’t pass FAR on my first try either. I would say just go over everything and focus on topics that you’re weaker in. Good luck!
I think his just too lucrative and perfect for this job I got enrolled for the direct license option because I had no time to study and I received my license within the period of 8day
I meant that I found it a waste of time to read every word in the textbook. I still skimmed through it, but I definitely learn better through watching lectures!
Thanks for sharing Rachel. Love these kind of videos
Thank you! Good luck with everything!

Thanks so much.
No problem! Good luck!
I did not pass FAR on the first try but did not retake it. I jumped to Audit. Was that a good move? My Audit exam will be next month.
