I have dss pro and the harness that came with it is black red and blue for the switch harness. I bought a switch harness that the colors are different red black and yellow. How do I connect? Red to red black to black and yellow to blue?
@@RoamWithJon okay cool. Sorry to unbury this video. I have a trek and my Tacoma comes soon. Just didn’t know the easiest way to handle my Ditch light wiring transfer
The ditch mounts are kinda too low I would’ve wanted a higher mount, didn’t realize they were low profile when I bought them. The ditch lights are great they’re floods so they put out a lot of light.
@@RoamWithJon thank you so much for that. I was thinking of going the low pro as well but I think your issue drove me the opposite way. Did you even up getting an OEM switch?
@@BC-hc5dq don’t think they would, just cause the hood is different, I think zroadz had ditch mounts for the titan, but I can’t tell you about the quality of them. Last line of defense base them on his F 150
@@RoamWithJon Thanks for the replay. ZROADZ had them for the Titan so I bought them..not cheap at $130..wow. I'm just hoping the RIGID D Series Pro fit on them..I believe they're 3".
Good job. Gives me some clues on how to install mine.👌
super easy install, I’ve done some clean up on the wiring also
Couple years later, but we’re you able to find taller ditch light brackets? Or did you stay with the low profiles
I ended up just sticking with the low profile mounts
Your opinion- rigid vs diode dynamic fog lamps- what u recommend and like better -
Personal preference honestly they’re both good companies
U might could park the Tacoma in the garage with a fan on to be less hot or does it not fit
@@mpgarage-8 I forgot why I didn’t roll it
In tbh this was a while ago, my garage was probably too messy
@@RoamWithJon haha ok I got the same problem lol ours is a mess tryna clean it up rn as u can see from my vids lol
@@mpgarage-8 I’m just waiting till it not 100 out and I’ll get to cracking 😂

I don’t know what dss pro is, I’d have to look at it and assess it tbh.
Amazing gonna do this to my tundra thanks man
No worries 🤙🏽
Doesnt the TRD OR have the hood bump?
Negative just the sport
Did u had to drill wholes under the hood for the bracket ?
No they are the oem holes for bolts that hold in the hood
I installed mine a few years ago. One randomly went out. Has anyone experienced this and as to why it may have happened? Wiring all seems fine.
I would test them with a volt meter, also contact Cali raised led
great video brother!
Thank you! 🤙🏽
Do you know to find hood brackets for a Colorado?
Mmm I would just Google it, or try to see if anyone from overland bound has a brand they like
Did you keep the wires from the treks setup? Or buy a new wiring kit
Everything transferred over from the trek, all the wiring and the button is what came with the ditch light kit when I bought it

@@iamthebryman no worries, some people still reference this video lol
Nice video bro! “Damn it, it’s still hot.” Lol
😂 man cali late summer this year was no joke
I hear you, bro. I’m in Cali too lol
Nothing like the Texas heat boys.
I never been, Man my buddies station out there say it’s a real different kind of heat
Did you keep all the wiring from the crosstrek?
Yes
Do the wires come with the lights
Yes you have the option to have the harnesses and oem switches added
Did you buy another switch or drill hole woth it?
I still use the red switch it came with, I’m holding off on doing lighting and stuff for now, eventually going to switch to a full switch panel.
Your neighbors were just looking like 👁👄👁
😂
Where did u put the switch
In one of the blank spaces under the dash. You can pop out the place holders and slide the switch in.
I’m seeing a Texan in the making 🤔
Lol wut
You still have the CT bracket?
I do actually, been trying to sell em
Must work in an office. It's hot outside.
Yep the office in my house
Hey i saw this truck on Vsnz stream is it yours? Its Sick!
Stop lol

Yeah I thought I liked the low profile but you lose a lot of light top the top of the hood
nice ditch lights, was a relay switch needed with this kit ?
Nah it came with everything
@@RoamWithJon Do you think those brackets would work on a Nissan Titan? I want to mount those lights the same way.

Were those the factory connections on the rigid lights?
Yes they are
How much did you pay for these ?
I Believe at the time when I bought them they were 150$
Thanks
