    Tammy….I love how natural you are…you give me the confidence to give talking on videos a go 😊
    Those wipes looks like they’ll be really good. I have a recipe for hand wipes but a couple of different ingredients. So I’m looking forward to trying out yours. ( my mother in law needs this) 😊

      Aww, thank you! You should give it a try! - it is more work and more time consuming than I bargained for.. but it is also very fun and rewarding 😊 -

    Im excited to try this, not sure if I just missed it and Im very green, but no preservative required since it contains oil and water?

    • @WalnutCreekBathBoutique
      @WalnutCreekBathBoutique  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, I don't use a preservative in this but I don't sell it. I think if I did I would use a preservative though. We love it - I hope you try it out!

    Glad you've posted this ;) I've been thinking about making gentle wipes for my goats' udders. I usually buy unscented baby wipes, but those are expensive and I don't like that I have to throw them away. Have you tried using this in a spray bottle? Also, would a homemade liquid soap work just as well as the body wash?

    • @WalnutCreekBathBoutique
      @WalnutCreekBathBoutique  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Tami! I think the spray would be just fine for that purpose! What a great idea! Yes any ol liquid soap should work just fine, as long as it is gentle - good luck!😃

    I'm sorry, but I missed (couldn't hear) what kind of oil you used other than that you added a little canola oil. Is there a special kind of oil that is used in making products like this? I wasn't sure what you meant by "cheap" oil. Thank you, by the way. I found your video when I was searching for what kind of essential oils could be put into water when using those compressed coin towels.

    • @WalnutCreekBathBoutique
      @WalnutCreekBathBoutique  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used safflower oil. When I say cheap I mean to not use a luxury oil such as Argan or Jojoba - those should be used for luxury products LOL
      Really any oil will work though, I have used olive oil, canola oil, sunflower oil. Grapeseed oil would be more $$ but nice but it doesn't has a long of a shelf life as some of the others.
      thanks for letting me know how you found my channel! I had to google coin towels as I had not heard of those before! Very interesting product ~ Thanks so much for watching and for your comment

      @@WalnutCreekBathBoutique Thx for the reply and clarification. I have those coin towels mainly for camping, but I'm planning an overseas trip and thought they would be handy for traveling. I found a little holder for them that also has an area for the water to wet them when you are ready to use them. For those unfamiliar, they are coin sized, but with a little water they expand and turn into a wet wipe. 😁

    Yay Tammy.....I am so glad you shared this. I have a friend whose baby keeps a raw bottom and we just talking about he could be allergic to the wipes!!!!! I am so making these. Can you tell us what size you cut the paper towels to? That looks like the perfect size!!! Again....thank you for sharing!!!

    • @WalnutCreekBathBoutique
      @WalnutCreekBathBoutique  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hope this works for her! I have to say, my granddaughter had horrible diaper rashes, where she would be just raw...we would use my tallow cream on her and the next day it would be almost completely cleared! It was amazing for that! Anyway, I would just cut the paper towels in half, then put them cut side up in the bowl, and remove the cardboard. Then try to grab from the middle like a normal wipe. Using a serrated knife to cut them with helps.

      Hi Sabrina, your friends baby could also be allergic to the nappy. When my youngest son was born he would get nappy rashes…. It was the cloth nappies and I had to swap to the disposable nappies and that stopped his rashes. Also, Another good remedy to help heal the nappy rash is….. get the raw egg white ( no yolk) and slightly beat it until there is a little bubbles in it. Apply to baby rash and let air dry it will cure really quick.
      I know it sounds weird but it does work.
      I also used to carry a damp washcloth in a plastic bag to wipe baby’s bottom when we were out.
      I hope this can help your friend 😊

    You’re so beautiful. Thank you for the recipe. Can I use rose water instead
    Of regular? Thanks again!

      Thanks so much for your sweet comment!!
      You can use rose water, but that would greatly increase the cost. You could do 50/50 with water to help with that if you want.

    Is the water distilled? I’m 80 yo , live alone and just want a quantity for one person that doesn’t get moldy or rancid. Any help is greatly appreciated. The wipes are toilet paper or napkins or paper towels…. Got confused.

    • @WalnutCreekBathBoutique
      @WalnutCreekBathBoutique  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use distilled, but I don't think it would be necessary. Tap water should be fine
      I use napkins - I used to use paper towels but cutting them down was not easy (and I was in my 40s) so I made the switch to napkin and have been much happier.
      Let me know if you have any other questions!🤗 My husband can't live without these things LOL

      Nope, not flushable - but as old as this video is, I still make them all the time. We can't live without them 😆
