ussr technology is the all time most advance and practical. Even the NASA, was compelled and dependant on soyoz for decades, after badly failure of their "space shuttle".
Oleg Kononenko, Russian cosmounaut /astronaut, commander of the crew - 21 June 1964. 59 years old. On February 4, 2024 Oleg Kononenko became the world record holder for the total duration of space flights. He surpassed the achievement of compatriot Gennadia Padalki, who in five space flights totaled 878 days 11 hours 29 minutes 48 seconds. On 5 June 2024, Kononenko became the first person in history to have a total space flight of more than 1,000 days. At the end of the fifth flight, scheduled for 23 September 2024, this figure was 1110 days.
Really? Do you not know the ISS is only operational because of america buying seats on the soyuz for many many years after the shuttle retired? No? Hilarious 😂
@@tylerdurden4006yeah because it works without fail so there is no other option those shovels and Washing machines go to space and come back without fail so you have no other option but to Buy seats on those. This time they bought Seats on boeing and what happened 😂
At the time station «World» was a source of experience for the US in construction and research on the ISS, and after the accident «Colombia» Russian side, acting according to the partnership agreement with NASA and bringing to the station equipment and astronauts, almost alone saved the project. After the "Colombia" disaster on February 1, 2003, the US temporarily had no such access to the station until July 2005, when shuttle flights resumed. After the disaster, the number of members of the long-term crew of the ISS was reduced from three to two. This was due to the fact that the supply of the station with materials necessary for the crew’s life was carried out only by Russian cargo ships "Progress" and its load capacity was insufficient for a full supply of astronauts. On 26 July 2005, the shuttles resumed their flights.
The media does all it can to avoid saying Russia
