    Very helpful video. While putting my new consol in . . I managed to knock off the soldering of one of the grounding wires on the right side of the consol. The one to the main circuit board is attached. It is the shorter one. Does anyone know where this grounding wire was soldered to or if there is a diagram somewhere

      I pinned your comment. I get calls on this model alot, I'll take a picture next time I see one.... hopefully somebody else who has one apart sees this before then

      @@gitfit875I sent in a ticket to Nordictrack and they sent me the electric diagram that was not helpful at all, LOL.

    Thank you for making this video! Just got my replacement screen/console after a 3 month wait. Hubbs & I should have watched this before we started replacement, but it all worked out in the end with neither of us frustrated with each other. Very helpful tutorial!

    I have the same problem that happened with 2450. Called customer service - 20 minute "your call is very important to us" wait. 15 minutes of talking to the agent, taking pictures, describing the problem and answering questions. The person dealing with my issue was on point and understanding - I guess they have been dealing with this plenty. 10 minutes of waiting for the approval to order a new console. Overall - sucks that the treadmill was bricked because of the updates, but customer service is great in getting the new screen ordered for me. They are saying it will be here within 7 days - and they are sending a technician to actually replace it.

    Nordictrack bricked my treadmill via an over-the-air updated. they sent me just the tablet/screen with no instructions on how to replace. This video helped me greatly. I couldnt do it without this guiding me.

    We had the exact same issue with an ifit software upgrade bricking our 1750. Took about four months to finally get the console. This video made the process of switching out the console a fairly easy project. Thank you for taking the time to make it! Btw, it's EXTREMELY irritating that Nordic track couldn't care less about this issue. Horrible customer service. Non existent actually. Will never buy from them again. Will also tell anyone I come across to avoid their stuff like the plague.

    Just wanted to say that I also really appreciate you putting this video together. We received our replacement console after 5 months, but they didn't have any instructions or anything for how to replace it, so my wife and I just followed your video to figure out what to do.

      I 100% agree. Additionally, 1750 is rather for walking than running. After 4 years of use, every part is corroded. I am shocked!

    Thank you so much for this video. I was able to replace my 2450 Console following this. NordicTrack originally sent me the wrong console for a different model.. TWICE. They are just notorious for really bad customer support. Cool music by the way.

    Thank you for sharing and the help! My console bricked after 1.5 years of light use and I only need the manual mode. What a joke. I will NEVER buy Nordictrack again. The EXP10i is awesome for walking and running... when it works. If your internet is slow or it bricks on you, it's junk. The company did send me a replacement which was a nightmare to install and only got it done with help from people this guy making a video.

    Thanks for this video. It helped me with the console swap after the OTA SW update bricked my console. Nordic track customer service is abysmal , sending the customer a console to replace without any instruction is terrible. I will never buy or recommend Nordic track fitness. It is a shame as they will continue advertising and selling , wish they took the feedback and improve the product and customer service

    What GENIUS made this so difficult? More importantly, why cant NordicTrack Warranty Service call me or acknowledge my requests for help as it's still under warranty?

    I want to just get the grill cover off over the speakers to paint as it has rust on it. Think the entire console has to come off?

      Yes, there's tabs bent over holding it in place on the speaker side

    How much was the console? Mine stopped working. Bluetooth light is the only thing on and nothing else works. Nordictrack customer support is useless. This video is great.

      I believe ifit is now selling the tablet separately. I crossed paths with this same situation yesterday, and verified voltage was present at the tablet itself.... or check ebay and see if somebody is parting one out

      My console stopped working and I called Nordictrack about a month ago and they sent me a free replacement. They are aware of the issue. It took about a week to get mine even though they said it would take around 8 to 10 weeks. I’m putting my new console in today.

    How much is a new console, we haven’t been able to use the treadmill since the ifit software update. So disappointed with customer support, keep getting disconnected, haven’t been able to resolve anything, so frustrating, took great care of it all this time, maintenance and repairs! Literally wasted days and hours on the phone, the only thing they did was delete all apps, STILL useless.
