Flew this route in J at the end of May and I thought everything with this flight was spot on.
Didn't get a surly purser mind you - in fact I thought everyone was just so nice.
The food up front was 100% spot on restaurant-quality (not surprised because Do&Co caters this flight), and while the seating may be 2-2 up front, I actually thought it was more comfortable than the Apex Suite on the 787.

Jet bridge and bus really depends on the time and situation to me, If its in the middle of the night during a connecting long haul flight i cant stand having to wait for the bus and then spend like 10mins driving to it then wait outside the plane etc (this applies for boarding and deboarding) But if its the first leg of the journey during the day i love having the bus and take in the views when im fresh
The tray table cup holder issue happens with many many airlines. If you travel globally, you should notice there is a difference in cup and water bottle design across across the world. Even if the cup fits, the style of the holder does not provide a stable support for the cup. Any light turbulance will cause the holder to bounce and spill liquid if the cup is filled with liquid.

Terminal 2 ist deutlich entspannter abgesehen von Checkin bei vollen Tagen dafür aber kurze wege und keine langen schlangen an der Sicherheitskontrolle
Gulf Air cancelled by connecting flight at Bahrain and rebooked it on anothere flight with 20 hours difference. They refused accomodation and demanded 160 dollars for STPC and denied boarding until I paid up.

Hey, nice flight review. As someone who also makes flight review videos, I prefer the bus boarding for, as you describe it, a free apron tour and great photo's across the tarmac. It also feels nice to walk up the stairs when boarding. Thanks for sharing your reviews. Have followed your channel and looking forward to your next reviews. Bei einen Ticket Preis von USD 100, sind es 4,5/5 Sterne.
Liegt der Preis bei USD 1200, dann sind es vielleicht 2/5 Sterne.

Stimmt wohl, ich mache die Bewertung meistens jedoch lieber von dem was die Airline verspricht abhängig. Wenn ich z.B. 300€ für einen Ryanair Flug bezahle weiß ich vorher dennoch bereits das ich nix bekommen werde und mich den ganzen Flug lang nur aufregen werde...😂
Aber danke, ich werde in Zukunft wahrscheinlich wirklich den gezahlten Preis offenlegen und auch aktiv ins Video einbinden :)

I’m so glad I stumbled on your vlog as I am days away from embarking on this very same itinerary ( Milan* - Bahrain - Bangkok)! I hope you see my comment and perhaps decide to spend a couple of minutes helping me out! What about the free seat allocation? Today I checked online if I could pre-purchase a seat on my flight and I couldn’t believe what I saw! The prices exceed 10.000 BHD (26.000€!!) How is this possible?! I paid less than 200 BHD for my flight from Milan to Bangkok . . What has been you experience?

GULF Air is always one of the cheapest airlines that flies from Frankfurt via Bahrain to Bangkok. In all flight ticket internet exchanges, GULF Air is always one of the cheapest!
Prefer airbridge boarding, though if via a bus it is exciting to see the aircraft up close.

Tried the gulf air from singapore to bangkok. When compare to Cathay pacific, thai air and SIA, gulf air is the least favoured. The supplement food they gave is bread, there are no drinks served besides water. Worst, no headphone sets provided for passengers to enjoy their inflight entertainment. Overall, I can only give it a 2/5. The only saving grace is ticket. However, it is not as cheap as Cathay or SIA on promotional prices.
It's their fifth freedom flight so I guess that's the reason they don't really do much on that flight but honestly that's just ridiculous the headphones are something I would let go off but multiple choice of drinks should've been available.
I love your review. Gulf air Cc is actually not good at all :( I have seen some ways they talk to the passenger specially the senior ones towards SE Asians. It’s an unfortunate site :/

I think there are more important things. Furthermore, it's still required to wear a mask in most airports and planes in Europe and Asia. But if that's not required anymore, I'm happy to take it off! :)

@@flywithdominik ja bei ihm ist nur Untertitel er kennt halt viele Fakten und testet nicht nur per se. Aber zb einblenden oder sagen was noch so rumsteht und wohin etc. Ist auch nice
