Ich fliege kommende Woche das erste mal Langstrecke und das erste mal alleine mit dieser Airline und bin sehr gespannt. Mache mir nach dem Video doch etwas sorgen wie es mit dem Check in klappt. Ich habe bei der Buchung keine Sitze reserviert. Gibt es dazu eine mögliche vor Ort am Flughafen? Und hast du sonst noch Tipps was zu beachten ist. Ich fliege mit Zwischenstopp in Peking nach Sydney.

Hi. I am disagreeing with your finding and conclusions. China Southern is part of China airlines, and it is an associate members of Delta which is also related to KLM. As a concierge member in Delta, we are experiencing the same issues in San Francisco and Atlanta. However, this is all under the control of Delta airlines system. As such, KLM is like Korean Airlines under Delta, it needs to follow Delta schedule and routes. Both Korean and China Southern Airlines have limited controls over the seat and check-in management since it is dictated by Delta and local airport. This kind of experience will not exist in China because China Southern Airlines have better controls of all the details. Your experience cannot be worst. Compare to British Airways in Hearthrow airport, you will not have terminal assignment until 45 min before you take off. If you are not prepare, you will miss your flight and lose your luggage. That is by far worse than what you experienced,

I flew from Qatar economy from Kenya to Doha then Doha to Manchester,the crew were so nice they give the kids a toy in a bag.the food given is good I guess,so I'd rate it out of 8.4/10

How was the 10 hour layover in Guangzhou for you? I have that as well in 2 weeks, so i’m very curious :)

I'll be flying the same plane/airline lhr-pkx tomorrow! Looking forward to the food - I've done a few. I remember Hainan was good before. Only negative will be lack of/less beer/wine (unlike european carriers where it's free flowing!)

Thanks for the helpful review! May I ask if your seats reclined? I am considering selecting those seats as I like that it's only 2 in the row instead of 3, but it looks like the seat may not recline with the wall directly behind it....

True. Overrated. Flew Business with them on 2 legs and they were OK but I preferred Etihad and Emirates. Better food and crews.

Had four flights with them this summer, every flight was delayed so we missed connecting flights both ways. Had to stay in a hotel overnight and it was chaos! Trying to get compensation was made extremely hard too

SQ economy no better either.

I would simply get up and ask politely the douchenozzle in front of you to retract the seat a bit. Some selfish morons need to reminded about flying courtesy.

You didn't show the curtained off prayer area at the back. I love Saudi. No noisy people who had too many drinks in the bar. The pizza is served on domestic flights often and is really good!
