I flew from Qatar economy from Kenya to Doha then Doha to Manchester,the crew were so nice they give the kids a toy in a bag.the food given is good I guess,so I'd rate it out of 8.4/10

Thanks for the helpful review! May I ask if your seats reclined? I am considering selecting those seats as I like that it's only 2 in the row instead of 3, but it looks like the seat may not recline with the wall directly behind it....

I traveled 4 times with qatar airways they were amazing from doh to miami in 2023 and Boston to doh in the same year and about 3 months ago i went from doh to lax and lax to doha , the Miami flight was around 14 hours and the Boston flight was 12.3 hours and the lax flights were 16.2 hours clean bathrooms on the a350K good seats good entertainment even the food was great they had snacks anytime you want you can order water but any flight under 8 hours there mid
well after watching this i am looking forward to flying them from melbourne (Aus) to spain a bit less now haha, and 4 very long flights too. Anyways great review man, just subscribed, and dont take those other strange comments too seriously, they where some strange accusations

I have found Qatar economy class to be quite poor. The business class is generally good but the economy is ok ish at best. Thank you for doing a review on economy, there needs to be more reviews of economy class given most people fly in economy.
Of course the crew will be demotivated if they are underpaid and when the company treats them like shit. Their existence is restricted and monitored through swipe in and out of their own accommodation
I agree absolutely. I have also heard about the horrendous situation that the apartment can only be opened with the Crew ID. However, due to a lack of profound evidence, I could not add this in the video.
@@flywithdominikThat is absolutely true. It's the most toxic workplace you can think of. If a male crew's mother travels countries to visit her son in Doha she cannot live with her son in his house. In fact she has to follow visitor timings of 7am to 10pm to visit his home that too after taking special permission from the company.
Had four flights with them this summer, every flight was delayed so we missed connecting flights both ways. Had to stay in a hotel overnight and it was chaos! Trying to get compensation was made extremely hard too
I have done a grand total of 7 flights on Qatar this year a lone, all sorts of flights one Ultra Long Haul, one in business long haul , 4 under two hours, and one long haul in Economy, They are not bad but I would not go out of my way to fly them. Only real complaint I have is Doha airport, it is too crowded and just an unpleasant experience overall.
@@flywithdominik gulf air, in comparison with Qatar Airways, you can feel the economising: - boarding in Frankfurt was done via apron bus, not boarding bridge - meal is tasty, but no menus offered and milk powder, instead of an ordinary milk - and free seat change is only at a check-in counter, otherwise, pay €25 or ask on-board to change with someone. Despite all these disadvantages, I found Gulf Air quite good, especially for the paid price, but still, many things to improve, to reach the level of Qatar Airways/Emirates. And everyone has his own point of view 👍🏻
@@JohnGuidetti751 i beleive qatar airways may have a few planes in 3-3-3 as they got some of virgin australias old 777s recently (which where 3-3-3) before they stoped long haul operations, they still have the old virgin buisness class to i am assuming the premium ecconomy and economy class seats have remained untouched too
I will not fly this airline only if I have to ,many other carriers flying from the UK to the far east much better ,tiny seats in economy for the price you pay .

Qatar Qsuite is the only good thing about them. Otherwise they’re CRAZY overrated.

No, even though, Gulf Air is not bad, I would not put it on the same level with Qatar Airways or Emirates.
Regarding Economy Class, I do actually prefer them. Haven't tried Emirates yet in Economy Class.
