    Best review out there on this power station, thanks! I just got it on Amazon for $379, can’t beat that. I already have some other DJI gear and their reputation for great support and quality hardware + no need for an app is what steered me towards this instead. Can’t wait to try it out.

    Thank 😊 🙏 you for going thru the pain of testing so many things with the DJI 1000 power station to eliminate the guesswork. Thanks to your video, I'm more confident now that I can power up my fridge with this power station if the power goes out, at a fraction of the cost of some of the other big names. For $379 on Amazon flash sale right now, and how many things you can power with this, this is a steal! Thank you again. Liked 👍 and subscribed!

    Excellent review…I’ve watched several. Your phone said Salt Lake City. Did you buy it at Pictureline by chance? Picking up two or three DJI 1000 in a couple days from Pictureline. I work in professional film production and these will be great…plus running appliances during power outages at home. And the fast charge of my dji drones and cameras is excellent.

    I just ordered on of these for a Black Friday deal of $419 on Amazon. Excited to see this in action. I was deciding between this and a Delta 2. I watched a few videos where this DJI one blew the brakes off of the Delta 2 in performance. My only complaint is how many outputs it has, but that’s what Serg protectors are for. Plus I have a DJI mini 3 drone. So I had to go with this one. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

    Was Looking to get an inverter for the truck to charger faster from the vehicle while running, food for thought. Also the best thing is that if you're out in the field, a quick stop at a coffee shop to charge up is another option. This is the best option if you fly drones!! Way to go DJI !!!!

    • @theresatrickforthat
      @theresatrickforthat  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes, if you have a drone, hands down this is the best power station out there for you. Also, sit tight on the fast DC charging solution for your truck. DJI just came out with a slew of new accessories including app control and huge expansion batteries that connect in the SDC ports. They are being really aggressive and innovative…I wouldn’t be surprised if in the next year or so we saw a high power DC to DC charger that utilizes the SDC ports similar to EcoFlow’s Alternator Charger and Bluetti’s Charger One. Thanks for watching and commenting!

      DJI Power 1000 is definitely the play for 6S Lipo FPV race drones. If you fly nano/micro sized drones with 350-850mAh lipos, you'd be quite happy with a more portable setup: an Anker 27,000mAh Prime Powerbank and a modern, compact charger that has Power Delivery (PD) USB-C input.

    I like real world usage test. I wonder if your furnace requires Neutral Ground bonding for it to work with power stations since most Power stations do not have Neutral Ground bonding.

    • @theresatrickforthat
      @theresatrickforthat  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Thank you! Yep! Real world testing is where it’s at! Good point on the neutral ground bond…that transfer switch creates a bond for me. If you watch my other testing videos on other power stations you’ll see it works great even when all of them have floating neutrals. However, I did have another power station cause the same thing. Seems like it’s something about some inverters my blower motor just doesn’t like. Anyway, huge thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @starrbudd

    I loved the video. Very relatable. Just purchased the unit on Cyber Monday, awaiting arrival. I am coming from a Runhood Rallye 1200 pro power station. I liked it because of the modular design and hot-swappable features. Sadly the Runhood doesnt power my RV microwave though. hoping this does.
    For this unit under review.... Question: What is the benefit of using 600W charging vs 1200W input charging? Only things I can think of are...a) if your gas generator only supports below 1200 watt. Or b.) maybe the lower wattage extends battery life. Typically fast charging decreases life of batteries. Any other thoughts or am I on the right track?

    • @theresatrickforthat
      @theresatrickforthat  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Glad you picked one up! You’re going to love it!
      Those two reasons for charging slower would be the main reasons I can think of! Thanks for watching!

  • @DaveSquibbSr
    @DaveSquibbSr 26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    That is a nice looking unit I'll give you that and this was a great review but I like my power stations to already be put together all in one I don't like to be nickel and dimed to death for accessories, when I want it I just want it to work, my Growatt is always ready to go and for $800 I get 2048Wh LifePO4 Battery, 2200W with 3400W peak AC Output for Home Use, for solar I can use 800 watts at 12 to 100 volts and that's already built in I don't have to buy a separate module for it, I will take simplicity any day. 😎😎
    By the way don't sell your grandparents short they can run those apps with no problem when we were young and had computers we had to write programs to use them in c basic there was no such thing as windows, most of the time it's not that your grandparents don't understand the apps it's that they don't want to have to mess with them LOL
    I bet I'm as old as your grandparents and I love apps for my power stations.😎😎

    • @theresatrickforthat
      @theresatrickforthat  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    I purchased extendable batteries for the DJI 1000, offering a capacity of 11,000 Wh, paired with 800 W solar panels to meet most daily needs for two people. However, this setup would not be sufficient to sustain a family during a long-term power outage. Nonetheless, the DJI 1000 is a fantastic little powerhouse.
