@@BlueOvalRescue My buddy's 69 has filler in. It shrank. looks like crap. I've seen people weld in pieces to cover that seam. So, I guess that is an option.
Not a silly question at all! I want to use as much of the original car as possible, unless its absolutely destroyed. I have the original doors and hood, but not the front fenders. I might get new ones instead of using the ones I have.

The roof is Dynacorn, as well as one of the Trunk corners. I dont have them tack welded in yet, but so far they seem to line up nicely. The quarters fit pretty good as well, but are really tight at the quarter window, and need some work to fit correctly. I think the quarters are CJPony parts brand. Before I start tacking everything together, I need to hang the doors.

Do you plan on using lead where the factory did?
Not sure, I’ve never done any leading work but not sure I like the idea of putting that much filler there. Lead doesn’t shrink!
