I've had this laptop since january 2023 , but mine keeps freezing and going into airplane mode. it's a shame cause it was expensive but it lasted for nearly a year.
Ah man I bought the f17 literally brand new at a pawnshop for 400 haven’t used it been at work but I guess for that price it’s ok I only bought mainly for some horror games and that new dragon ball card game that came out so I didn’t need nun big but was hoping it was good good one
Is this good for music production? I am aware that there are regular asus laptops ( not tuf ) with faster, newer gen cpu s, but from experience and from what I have heard, the motherboard does have a big impact on the sound quality of plugins. Hence my interest in the tuf F17. Would you say that the motherboard on this is better than that on the regular Asus laptops. i.e the vivobook 15 with the 12500H
Can you tell me about the fan noise? I'm shopping for a laptop mainly for music production using fl studio and ableton with casual video game play. If I don't run graphic intense program, using only digital audio workstations, will the fan get louder?
I belive you can change the speed of the fan, silent, performance, and normal mode which you can change depending on what you're doing, sorry if I'm late! Edit: From what I have tested both Silent and Normal mode have very low amount of noise but performance sounds like a plane (as it should)
dont buy it, has some really crazy chronic problems like declined wifi card or even declined camera. can not be used more than an hour without cable. great on games, but its not worth.
@@0x0r_ so i think MacBook M3 max is the right one for you! It will handle games whit 60 fps+ and it’s know to have good battery life and perfect for programming. But it’s expensiv mate..😅
It's not the best in terms of battery as the average gaming laptop has a battery runtime of 4 hours and 46 minutes. Your getting a better price compared to more expensive ones on the market, but the consideration would definitely need to be made for the battery life.
As a 12 year old who isn’t gonna play very high quality games like elden ring, god of war, skyrim, etc. I’m mostly only gonna use it on my desk and gonna play lower end games like roblox, siege, minecraft, and maybe fortnite. So the battery power will not be a big problem for me lol.
you don't play games on a battery on any laptop, no matter what laptop you buy it's battety can't supply enough power to it's components to perform at 100% so it's irrevelant if it's just 2 hours, the more important thing is how long it will last while browsing the internet with energy saving enabled

TUF f17. I got it for Christmas and it’s awesome
How about temps here it is reaching 80-90 c @@vaporlights7337
Not a big difference between them, I belive the f15 is worse by a couple of fps in big games

So wait it only has under 2 hours of gameplay before it needs a charge? Is that normal for a Gaming Laptop?

yeah lol that's normal for older laptops. Hell my acer which had an intel GPU only lasted 2 hours.
Just keep it on the charger
