Hi, I just bought this exact model with same GPU. I noticed in performance mode when the laptop is not plugged in, it lags a lot. LIKE A LOT!!. As soon as I plug in my charger everything is smooth again. Do you also face this same issue? and what would be the ideal solution here. I tried everything like turning off startup applications and other background apps but still no fix for the lag. I have dual booted with ubuntu now, and it seems the problem is only with windows 11 as ubuntu is working quite flawlessly. Would really appreciate your response. Thanks for the amazing review.

The tgp of this laptop is 75w which is much more than acers 30w tgp of the laptop that you mentioned. Benchmarks show that 2050 will win just because the tgp value.
the thermals are actually really good, i have this laptop so i can tell you from first hand experience. fans aren't too loud (imo) and i've never experienced thermal throttling under extreme load.

If you're plugged in, I don't think it matters. But otherwise, I think Nvidia GPU will probably drain your battery faster.

Unfortunately the battery on the laptop is quite small and the lag is normal it's happening with every unit with no solutions
