SOLVED IN DESCRIPTION - Problem deleting a bluetooth connection on @Pioneer AVH-521EX car stereo

- C'mon, Pioneer...need your help. I've followed all instructions and I still can't delete an uneeded Bluetooth connection. In the video, I show the instruction booklet and walk through the steps to no avail. Any suggestions? Leave it in the comments.
SOLUTION - Literally the day that I uploaded this vid, I found that the solution was to engage my parking brake. As soon as I do that, the option to edit the Bluetooth connections becomes available...

Thanks, got this stereo from sons truck after he totaled (he’s fine) but memory was full, found your video…….CORRECT grounded light green wire and now all menus show up, leaving it grounded permanently 3 days in no issues have had other similar head units that needed the brake wire grounded to play movies as well

I was having the exact same problem as I re-read the comments. Everyone's at this problem. Engage your hand break and then follow those steps, and you will have the option to clear out the tooth memory.

All you have to do is ground the Bluetooth wire it’s the like green wire should be one single wire that color. In the back of the unit

Don’t you turn source off at menu screen first before going to settings then Bluetooth?
Having the same issue and it’s really frustrating
I had the same problem with a different pioneer soundsystem, but then i remembered that dvds can only be played while the e-brake is locked in. So i thought "what if blutooth settings is brake locked" and it was. I hit the e-brake, and the blutooth setting turned white. Then i clicked it, clicked connections and found all 3 devices that are registered and pressed trash accordingly

Yeah, as soon as I engaged the parking brake, the option to delete made itself available. I've got a feeling that the installation was done incorrectly...

I have the same double din radio and the same exact problem it’s a wiring issue whenever you have it installed
Step 1. Put on parking break
Step2. Hit menu/power button.
Step 3. Select settings
Step 4. Select Bluetooth on the bottom left.
Step 5. Connection
Step 6. Delete devices you'd like to get rid of.
Step 7. Connect new device.

Push in the parking brake is should let you click on Bluetooth settings. Afterwords it’s a security thing.

Engage your hand break, go to settings, press Bluetooth button, press “connection,” delete phones. Just saved you three minutes.
When anything is grayed out, apply the parking brake. They do this so that you don't mess with phone and radio while driving.

It’s just a light green wire connect it to a ground or just simple squish it against something that’s a ground & it would let you open it & the wires is on the back of the radio

Hit the safe mode option. This then enables blue tooth access
How do I find the safe mode option? I don’t know where my manual is 😕

Engage the parking brake...it should then show the Bluetooth symbol highlighted and able to clear it out! Had the same problem...

My pioneer sounds terrible (static) and hella quiet I have a ‘08 Chevy silv 1500 can anyone plz help😓 I can’t find no help on the internet! I’ve tried Dre wiring n everything it hooks up to Bluetooth but sound bad is it my speakers since this radio head is newer?😭

It’s just a little light green wire in the back of the radio just connect it to a ground or squish it against the metal part of the radio it would let you open it

Bipass your ebrake. Wire the long green wire directly to a screw on the back of the deck. You just need to ground it. Or hook it up to your ebrake but then you cant use those functions unless your in park and ebrake is set.

Is the safety system too loud in the car to know that you’re not driving and watching DVDs or adding phones to Bluetooth which is a hazard to the public safety

So I pulled the radio today... And sure enough there was a little green wire hanging all alone . Grounded it and... problem fixed...

I can connect my phone with a usb cable can’t see the map on my screen only Bluetooth works sucks 😅
