POV: you're watching it in 2024 and imagining what could have been if Ubisoft had spent a year longer on Unity to make it perfect. If this game came out looking and playing like those impressive demos, then Ubisoft would have pushed AC series even further in this direction - smooth parkour, better stealth and social stealth, co-op mode, dense urban environments with hundreds of NPCs on the streets etc. Unfortunately Unity failed due to rushed release, a lot of bugs and undelivered promises. This was the exact reason why Ubisoft decided to try this RPG approach that led us to this moment. It's sad.

@@dodgsonwevegotdodgsonhere9970 Ubisoft are notorious for their demos and marketing hyping up and giving promises that can't really be accomplished from a technical standpoint. For Unity though, all bugs aside, they delivered one of the best games in the series in my eyes. It really sells the general idea of the series' concept. Being a shadow... a blade in the crowd. I'm not going to go into the bugs because most of them were fixed and the game has been ripped to death by now. What I will say, is that when it comes to going back to a more modern AC, this is what I turn to.... and maybe Origins. I hope Mirage takes the core of this game and builds on it.
@@LethalProtector8000 I 100% agree with you. I’m currently replaying AC Unity now and still revel at how beautiful this game is even being 10 years old. This was that last “True” Assassin’s Creed game. Even the Co-op feels just like this demo. Only thing that’s missing is the scripted mob rushing a palace. And one thing I really have to point out is how ALIVE Paris feels with hundreds of NPC’s on the streets making traversal on street bothersome and forces you to parkour (stylishly) above them. This game is deserving the love it’s getting today.

brandon zhang was pretty much exactly the same, the only difference is that Ubisoft always makes these kinds of scenes full of life in the demos, and throwing all bugs away and focusing only on the gameplay, i think Unity is the best thought AC game with AC3!!!!

A few things I noticed
-this mission isn't in the game
-they're are no coop assainations like they advertised
-No matter what weapon you had it did the same amount of damage
-I don't know what it is just the character models clothes just look clearer and cleaner
I think they did not put the mission in the game because they dont want to give out spolers

honestly, i don't think accents matter. accents with random foreign words imply the game/movie/whatever is in english, when it's really supposed to be in the original language, we just hear english for our convenience. so it doesn't actually make sense for the accents to be non-english if they're not speaking english.

The gameplay was so-so, but I thought they did a great job on the ingame physics (minus the car collisions), what with the wind and such. The animations in the game were very neatly done as well.
Here's to hoping that they finally change AC in a similar fashion as the parkour animations have been the same since AC2.

0Bennyman Watch Dogs's was a 2 years prior release video, created before PS4 and Xbox One were even announced. Since February 2013 the game has looked almost exactly as it is now, for a dozen of videos and more than a year and a half before it came out.
AC Unity is coming out this November. That's the actual game, trust me. It's not unbelievable if it's next-gen only.

WARLORD Great, but that has nothing to do with downgrades. As far as I can remember AC has never had a graphical downgrade, and besides they have already shown us console gameplay. Watch Dogs was downgraded because the devs made the demo on an ultra-high end PC before they even had dev kits for the consoles, raising impossibly high expectations for console players.
Duncan Cassidy Watch dogs still doesnt look like nothing shown in very first demo on PC w/ everything maxed out. it is downgraded. Downgrading games is new strategy for Ubi and they will dg all of their new releases like FC4, Division and probably AC unity

Mr Alex Speed I hope so. But please, Ubisoft, make your AI allies a bit more realistic in fighting. I mean, it must move like how the player does too. Well it depends on the character. In AC: Liberation, where you'll meet Connor, he doesn't fight as fast as you normally do as a decent player. He fights like a mercenary in the previous AC. And too, the combat must be harder when alone, by means of you'll need 3 finishers to finish your enemies off.
I think this game is the best one yet now you must ask why?Cus the combat isnt so easy no fists thats dumb and by the name Assassins they need to be stealthy killers just like in unity!

From my research they have not announced any LOCAL Co-op, you can play online with friends AND matchmaking yes. Super pumped, last time I was this excited about an AC game was AC II. :)

Sorry for being rude, but anyone that has ever played Assassin's Creed knows that the AI in it is god awful and it mostly comes down to holding right click and quick-timing E button.
There's 4 of you in there, you could have easily just run through the door, ran through the hallway, found the target and just hold down right click while pressing E. Are you telling me that my so called team-mates are gonna do all of this nonsense and pointless moves let alone cooperate?
