Ahh üzümlü kekim Andreas.. bu kadar yakışıklı olmasan belki videoyu daha dikkatli izleyebilirdim .🫠😍 but also thanks a lot for the videos, i hope i pass the my ptr exam❤️❤️
hello! may i ask if there a reason why you would intercross your hands when testing L4 instead of simply applying pressure directly down? thanks for the video, its really useful (:
Thank you for your efforts to help us ... I had recommended this channel to my students in Libya "University of Tripoli" By the way I love you Andreas, you are so cute 😊
Thank you for the video!:) One question came to my mind: what is the instruction you give to the patient? "Don't let me move you or push it (the segment) into my hands"? I know this test is isometric but I'm confused with the instruction I need to give.
I saw that you had the secondary for L4, but I'm curious if you do any secondaries for L3, L4 and S1? I remember there being a lot of debate of this in school
Okay I'm pretty confused here. I thought we do myotome testing and with what we grade muscle strength according to Oxford MMT scale. Isn't it ? Or myotome testing and MMT testing different?
@@Physiotutors But how are we going to get the MMT score if we are doing isometric test? (There is no ROM) I thought we need the MMT score to document the myotome grading. Thanks a lot! The video is brilliant.
L2 - Hip Flexion
L3 - Knee Extension
L4 - Ankle Dorsi Flexion & Supination
L5 - Great Toe Extension
S1 - Ankle Plantar flexion
S2 - Knee Flexion
The best thing about your video is it's short with good content, gives proper information without boring the audience.
Love to hear that! That’s our goal

Can you give me a gentle, and clear, difference between myotome testing and resisted muscle testing using isometric contraction? thank you!!!
So if I understand you test the strength of the hip, knee and ankle in flexion and extension?
Thank you for your efforts to help us ... I had recommended this channel to my students in Libya "University of Tripoli"
By the way I love you Andreas, you are so cute 😊
+SWEET SWAN awesome 👏🏼 great to that you’re spreading the word and I appreciate the compliment 😊
Can you please explain why you didn't demonstrated L1 @PHYSIOTUTORS
L1 is mainly cutaneous innervation, it gives the ilioinguinal nerve, femoral branch of genitofemoral n and lateral branch of iliohypogastric nerve
You are doing a great job.
Thanks pallavi, appreciate it!

Yes, "don't let me move you" usually works.
Thank you for the quick answer! Keep up creating the amazing content you make! :)
Please add video related Coccydynia
not our expertise but we might work with a pelvic floor expert soon!
Tibialis anterior is not usually Myotome L4; it is usually L5

Thanks for the input. Most sources we consulted mention L4. Anyways, hardly any muscle is solely innervated by one single nerve root
Fantastic inf. dear
Happy to hear, you're welcome Ahmed!
😊😊

which secondary are you talking about? not sure if we understand the question

Agreed, what in the video confused you?
