The item limit on the cells exists mainly because you can chunkban yourself by putting too many different items onto a single cell. It doesn't exist to be annoying, but the protect servers from dumb or evil people.
I don't think that's the reason, since you could... just use multiple cells to do the same thing, no? Item restrictions on cells started I believe as a technical limitation, but these days is more for the added challenge. Also the overflow you're describing is from excess NBT data. This is generally VERY difficult to do accidentally, unless you're playing a pack with lots of custom equipment pieces. As an example, I played on the official Vault Hunters servers, and we had a few instances of this being an issue when people had multiple THOUSANDS of identified gear pieces in their storage systems.
AE can be bad in servers for other ways... Overflowing channels and some items in interfaces can cause a memory leakage. But that story is quite long and its a bit off topic
Anyone have a fix for the double-clicking bug? Really driving me nuts when I'm trying to move one stack and get two. Is it the end of the world? Of course not, but it's one of those things that's like a paper-cut, lol
Loving this series so far Dire! Been watching you since about series 4, so many years on and off! I've been playing your pack on a server with some friends and I have noticed that there seem to be a few issues with thermal series, namely their ores not playing nicely with recipes and also some dust recipes don't work.
1300 RF/tick is about 26000 RF/sec, or 1.5 million RF/min If you have burned through a couple million RF, you have only spent about 2 minutes of the raw output of that generator.

Hey Direwolf20, I think you can just create a (1K) ME Item Storage Cell from AE2 instead of making the (1k) ME Disk Drive. The only difference maybe is that it can only contain items instead of everything? But it does saves you the trouble for searching for ancient debris. (In my overworld there are no deserts, so also no cacti.. So no green dye.... (Already searched far and wide for it) I picked up modded minecraft again after like 7 years not playing minecraft at all. (I am now playing along with you in my own seed.) Is there a way to search for a specific biome in your overwold by any chance? Greets
There's a mod called Nature's Compass with an item of the same name that does exactly that, providing a list of all available biomes and allowing you to search in a large radius in your current dimension for one
I mean... Correct me if I'm wrong, but does Yellorium Ingot even have fixed RF value? Make a reactor which consists purely of fuel rods - and it will generate tons of RF, but RF per ingot value would be very low Make a reactor which consists of a single rod and top grade heat sink - and it won't generate much RF, but Yellorium will be consumed super slow, thus very high RF per ingot IIRC, your reactor is 0.036 mB/t and 1.3kRF/t. That would mean... 1300*0.036=36111.1111 RF/mB, so... 36 million RF per ingot? Plus temperature fluctiations... Guys, did I get it right? It looks kinda right
Dire always automates the AE2 press crafting in an inefficient way. Three presses per processor type is better. 1 for silicon, 1 for the circuit and then 1 for the final processor. It allows for parallel production of each type when a recipe requires such. Storage cells, for example, require all three types.
Dire, IF we played together, I'd problem have steel during episode 1, invar episode 1, and an upgraded tools by episode 2 (mining gadget with level 5).....lol
It seems that in 1.19 thermal has a lot of recipe jankiness like improper dusts, missing pulverizer recipes etc. Which is a shame considering that in the past thermal has been the do-it-all mod for all kinds of processing.

Out of curiosity, does Dire have plans for adding facades to LaserIO, similar to how EnderIO had facades so that you can hide the laser blocks?
No, not at this point in time. He stated this previously when he was first introducing LaserIO. The mod is feature complete for Dire's desire.
At this point I don’t think he could automate anymore without laserio
