Im so surprised you did not like One Night In Miami!!! I am hearing so many reviewers say how great it is!!! I can't wait to see it👌
I’m not surprised
Sad that you didn't enjoy Minari. It was by far my favorite film of 2020 and I thought it was a masterpiece. I'm definitely not a huge Malick fan and I didn't really get that vibe because unlike in a Malick film, this film kept me emotionally invested all the way through, with characters I loved.
Thanks for all the great videos recently Grace! It’s been really helpful during this time 👍😊
LOVED the review format for these smaller films!
I loved these batch reviews!! Great Work grace
Love this format for movie reviews! Do more! Give the “prestige” films some attention.
THIS IS THE VIDEO OF MY DREAMS- screw the Super Bowl- Oscars 2021 here we come
love ya Grace
Also having finished- I love the batch review- a lot of Oscary films aren't full video material but absolutely love hearing your take like this
I love this style of review for these films 👏🏻 I hope you decide to keep doing them 😁
I loved this new format, Grace! This would be a great way to review multiple films moving forward. Have a great weekend!
Chloe Zhao is getting an Oscar! And Frances Mcdormand will probably get her third award. Nomadland is not for everybody, like any movie.
her lack of taste is scary
I really enjoyed this group review format. It was concise but gave enough to help me decide if the films were worth my time. Thanks Grace!
I did like the new format of review. Nice job Grace!
Thank you so much for this video, Grace. You should do this every year.
Graces flustered attempt to understand the message behind nomadland is adorably hilarious 😂
@@Chasing_santino It conveyed how the cumulative effect of many seemingly inconsequential encounters and moments of solitary contemplation can have an influence on defining one's definition of fulfillment. The film allows for that to occur without the constraints of conventional cinema.
This style of video is fantastic! I would love to see more content like this!!
Ok I like this format. It makes hearing your thoughts on the films easier.
Loved the bacth review Grace. Excelent idea, you saved me alot of time and clicks, I'll be deffinitely checking Promising Young Woman and The Father
Enjoyed the batch review! Looking forward to watching Promising Young Woman!
One Night in Miami 👍🏽👍🏽💯
A awards film is art and entertainment both. I have seen nomadland and promising young woman the both were very good. Although Nomadland has no story but if you turn ur phone off and watch it in one go, u are gonna love it.
I love these group reviews! Especially for indie “award” films
Helps me put on my list to watch first
Good idea for these Grace! Love batch review format for movies that may not be as popular with general audiences
Loved the batch review Grace! I get it that some movies you don't have a lot to say about, but still wants to talk about them and I enjoyed this format.
Love this format! Great video.
Not all movies are meant to be "enjoyable". You would know if you watch as many movies as you claim you do.
All movies are meant to be enjoyable in some way. They don't have to be enjoyable in a fun way, but they still have to be enjoyable. For example, Schindler's List might not have any pleasing content, but people still technically enjoyed the movie because of how well-made and powerful it is. The content might not be pleasing, but if you came away from it thinking it's a masterpiece, that still means you enjoyed it on some level.
@@visualsforyou7120 that's what I meant.
@@takeafuckingshower I know, I just don't think "enjoyable" was the right word because all movies strive to be enjoyable in some way.
Disagree with you Grace , after I watched one night in Miami Amazon Prime, gave me goosebumps and and a little bit of history
8.5/10
LOVED this idea of quick batches of Oscar reviews. Justwatched promising young woman today and I also LOOOOOVED it I hope people don't miss it. It was one of the wildest and most unpredictable movies I've seen in a long time
Of the movies I've seen, I'd vote for Gary Oldman for Mank and Viola Davis for Ma Rainey.
For me it's between Riz Ahmed and Anthony Hopkins for best actor but i would think Gary Oldman would certainly be nominated for it as well.
For me it'd be Chadwick Boseman for Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and Vanessa Kirby for Pieces of a Woman.
@@nate-it9xq Chadwick deffo getting a win for for Ma Rainey as a supporting actor most likely
This is a great idea. I’d never watch these movies or follow news for them, so having it all in one or two videos makes it much more manageable to keep up with hollywood
Loved the batch reviews. Did justice to each movie
Love the mini group review format . I had a chance to watch a online screening of PYW but had to work . It’s now on the watch list though .
It’s cool that you go over multiple films in video keep it coming
