i think the way Emerald used classically unthreatening male cast like Bo Burnham, Max Greenfield, etc was super impactful because it really drove the idea that even the sweet ones aren’t always trustworthy
And then on the flip side, she has Clancy Brown and Alfred Molina, who’ve both played a lot of bad guys, as the only men who end up on the right side of things
It was the cutest, but while watching it I had a feeling it was too good to be true and I ended up being right. When he called her a “miserable asshole” I thought it was funny because he had caught her with that other guy and that playful insult was a way of breaking the ice and moving past the awkwardness between them, but when he called her a “stupid bitch” while in bed with her it was a red flag for me. It revealed what he really thought of her, and then toward the end there he really brought it home when he called her a “fucking failure.” Damn. Well, that said, the pharmacy scene/love montage set to “Stars are Blind” is one of the most wonderful and memorable movie scenes I’ve seen in a long time.

is an emotional punch in the gut. But it operates on so many levels. The journey the audience is taken on with Cassie is harrowing. Not an easy film but a superb one. It causes one to examine sociological archetypes. on a technical level, this film is as well made as anything I've seen. Solid camera work, framing, photography, set design, writing, acting, and the score by Anthony Willis is transcendent. It starts off like Herrmann's Psycho but develops into a far more emotionally rich tapestry.
@@a697ag No she isn't, she was the showrunner for season 2 only and wrote most episodes (together with Phoebe and others), she wasn't the director for any episodes tho. Each season of KE has had a new showrunner. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is the creator and originally the main Writer and Director. But from season 3 she handed over the job completely to new people and stayed more in the background since she had many other projects.
I have gained so much respect for every single man in this film. The fact that they agreed to do this in order to shed light on something so serious is something I am so thankful for. It's not a pretty role. It doesn't make them look good. But they did this to help us. And that's what being an ally is. Spreading the message of what's been going on for like she said, centuries.

The actor has had to work extra hard for his image so the public can separate him versus the character who raped Hannah. No man wants to be seen in that light to anyone. And it's hard for men to accept the reality of what's been going on. That's why this movie even exists. To say they're just doing it for the money is wrong. In every interview the men have pushed this message out respectfully because they know it's important.
It’s weird how an American accent makes Carey Mulligan seem like a completely different person. She even looks different sometimes, if that makes any sense.
To me this feels like when people say when you talk in a different language, your body language is different and your tone is and your body language is. You almost have a different Persona.. This feels similar to that.
I didn't see it as a revenge movie. I saw her as isolated and angry that no one seemed to understand what her friend had been through. She wanted to open their eyes and change them.

I feel like the alcohol culture, allows people to shed the feelings of responsibility for their actions. I saw alcohol as the smoking gun of this film. Which is why I feel it makes people feel they can deny these things more easily in their minds than they might’ve if they’d been taking these actions sober.

i’ve written essays praising emerald and carey, but right now i was to point out something kind of subtle i noticed in this interview about Bo. Bo sits back, farther than the girls are from each other, and his light top makes him blend even further into the background. but he’s sat back so much that he’s almost cut off on the right side of the frame, and throughout the interview he mostly just listens to carey and emerald. he seems to be purposefully stepping back, physically but conversationally as well, only speaking when addressed or referenced. he’s a great comedian and extremely quick witted normally, so i’m sure he has a lot of funny quips running through his head at all times. but because of the focus this movie has on women behind and in front of the camera as well as women’s experiences with men overall, he’s giving the subject the gravity it deserves and giving emerald and carey the time to say their piece before he adds onto it. like it should be common sense that a man shouldn’t cut off a women when she’s talking about the female experience, but you’d be surprised how many men do. but he doesn’t. and the reason i find that so wonderful because i feel like comedians, and more often male comedians, have a tendency to interject a lot in interviews - which i don’t usually mind that much anyway when they have good comedic timing - but in this instance Bo is recognizing that some parts of this conversation are about things he really has never experienced and therefore he’s letting the authorities on the subject say what they want to say before he adds his own thoughts or jokes. and he’s obviously actively listening and very mindful of this. i’ve always loved Bo’s comedy partially because it’s so self aware. he seems to be acutely aware of his place in any given situation, and especially aware of when it’s better to stay in that place or subvert the expectation. so i’m glad those skills show through to these serious topics and social situations as well, not just his comedy. he truly is his character in real life, and by that i mean the romance-montage paris-hilton-loving ryan, without the other garbage. honestly i feel like ryan’s function in the movie may not have been as successfully executed with a different actor because he is so distinct and smart and respectful. when i heard the first line of ryan’s voice in the tape, i gasped along with cassandra because i was so surprised, and to pull that off it takes a lot of subtlety. tldr; though obviously carey and emerald are the focus, i just love bo for his emotional social and comedic intelligence. he’s one of a kind and i hope to see him in more things, or making more projects similar to Eighth Grade.
Like in real life, the scariest part is that normal good guys are the aggressors or the bystanders of that violence, because is not about specifically those guys in the movie but about how living in a rape sexist culture gives you permission to think what you are doing is not a crime. She would’ve move on if everyone around her would’ve act accordingly to the severity of the crime. The scariest scene for me was with the Dean because it shows this is waaaay bigger than Nina, when she says that every week we have at least 2 accusations like this, and instead of she thinking, I have a severe problem where my female students are being systematically attacked and they are not safe, she thinks o well girls like to lie, and statistically only 2% of those accusations turns out to be false, because is is really hard to come forward with an accusation like this, puts you in the most vulnerable spot, a spot you don’t want to be in just like that. What normalization does is that allows violence to escalate. We have that problem in Mexico, every day 11 women die mostly at the hands of their acquaintances, their couple, a cousin, a neighbor, a friend, a police that is supposed to protect you, not an unknown drug dealer. And I’m not even talking about how many women suffer any kind of sexual assault without dying. We needed a movie like this.
The problem is Mexico's corrupt government. Not a particularly more toxic man problem. The cartels pay off large parts of the government. And the way around that is not to have mob rule trials initiated by screeching women. Women and men have ample opportunity at least in America to report sexual assault. But, it is college aged women that specically act suspiciously like con artists when asked to report the crime to the police and generally provide some form of evidence. Don't tell me that's not behavior that is also common in people who are lying and hiding something.
@@mjlim6610 I don't think that's it at all. I think that's a line women say a lot. I think it has little to do with reality, though. I was raped by my roomate in boarding school as a teenager and had no issue reporting (state police not local). You don't go alone. And being raped gave me occasion to speak to many men later in life who were too. They had no issue reporting either. I can't vouch for the properness of the prosecution process because I know many people who've been screwed over by the state's eagerness to plea out and just shortchange cases. But, I can say that police are not shaming women as a trend. If you don't report it is is your own stupid short signtedness or even worse because you have something to hide and the story is not entirely true. I understand how maybe you cannot initiate a report if you are young and underage. But, many who claim they could not were adult women then. It's ridiculous on its face and very suspicious. Normal people report when felonies are committed against them. There is something bizarre and deviant about the supposed trend of women not reporting. It either says feminism is teaching them to make bad sex into rape and they know they are lying orrr it means some of these women are being raped and they have phenomenally lower threshold for dealing with reality and trauma than their male counterparts. I have seen many women on extremist feminist forums like gendercritical who would say I didn't really enjoy the sex yesterday night with my boyfriend but I had it. I'm thinking now it was rape. So, understand there are a good number of women who delegitimatize the reality of rape and weaponize it. Lie about it. Spin it in fantasy and so forth. But, if women can call the police when they've been physically attacked and are in mortal danger then tell me how so many cannot make a report when they are not in danger after being sexually assaulted. It just doesn't track with reality. But, perhaps these are some of the more mentally ill women who have been asssaulted. The issue with Mexico is a separate one. It's a country with hundreds of times more problems than America. I cannot imagine the police do well there.
@@mimidec Honestly I'd have to disagree. I think the ending was hard to watch but it's a terrible reality, just like what happened to Nina. It made the film much more impactful instead of taking the crowdpleaser route.
Not sure if it was mentioned but when Emerald says she didn’t think she would get the chance to work with people from Hollywood like Carey and Bo at 4:30 you can see Bo reacts with a look to suggest he doesn’t feel worthy of that comment. It actually made me feel a bit sad for him. Love Bo. Hope he realizes how good he actually is!
I think this movie is WAY underappreciated. Cassie's journey is twisted, and it's heartbreaking, even arguably immoral- but at the same time elements of her character are understandable at the least and exhilarating at the most (for me). Such an intensely complex, artistic, terrifyingly relatable piece needs to be recognized for what it is- a gift.

By “arguably immoral” I meant that the way she would play with people’s emotions in order to exact revenge or get them to understand, or the purposely dangerous situations Cassie would put herself in with men were brutal, especially toward the end with Al. They also must have destroyed her a little, therefore arguably immoral.
This is so random but I'm a straight woman and find myself captivated by how beautiful Emerald Fennell is. Her bone structure, the way she speaks...she just exudes a natural elegance while also seeming very intelligent and down-to-earth. It's nice that she doesn't look like everyone else in Hollywood either, we need more of that.

A great thing that comes with directors like emerald succeeding and being considered as a master is that we can now get rid of the false perception that brilliant directors needs to be an asshole and control freak.
I’ve seen nearly every horror/disturbing movie and this film manage to make he hold my breath, squirm in my seat. Bravo. Its a fkn great film. Hard but a joy to watch.
I recently saw this movie for the very first time. It broke my heart in many ways. I hope Carey Mulligan gets the recognition she deserves for her beautiful career and this incredible role.
one thing that the film does quite well is making every character feel so believable and real even though the background is so colourful and edgy, like the fact that it deconstructs the whole what doesn't kill you makes you stronger trope and faces the fact that trauma like this can really break a woman down for example the main character seems at first like the most badass person ever and that she is so strong but really you can see how hurt she really was because of her past trauma and that not everything she did was the right call to be made ideally. Ultimately the traumatic events that the movie refers to from her past and the whole culture of the society around them caused the loss of the promising young women in the film.
I thought the direction, the costumes, the production design were all so clever. It was pastel and bright. Cassies house and wardrobe was hyper feminine covered in flowers and pink. And Ryan always wore blue. The pastels almost create a dollhouse effect. The final scene SPOILERS with Cassies death with her under a pillow and al on top of her for so long while he could have easily slipped his hand out of the handcuffs using a lever was so powerful. I think there’s some really cool symbolism in this movie that i can’t quite put into words
Just watched this and it was utterly brilliant. It made me cry and literally punch the air at the same time... A lot of us as women has been through these hideous situations with men. Well done Emerald...
Mulligans performance was magnificent. Brilliant film, wonderful cinematography, and great storytelling. Not to mention quite funny too. I definitely recommend it, especially after that ending!!
I watched this masterpiece for the first time yesterday and I don't even know where to begin. It hit home because one of my best friends went through a similar situation and from my perspective I could see how jarring, incredibly scarring and unbelievably painful it is to be blamed for being intoxicated and not being able to consent or say no. It made me want to cry and couldn't stop thinking about so many other stories from loved ones involving being questioned and judged. People complaining about the end and expecting it to have been a happy one, I humbly believe, are missing the entire point. Life is unfair, shitty things happen every day, sometimes there is no justice, sometimes people don't get a happily ever after, but Cassie made sure she did everything in her power to do things right for Nina's memory (and herself). It'll take me some time to digest for sure, but this is superb and quite possibly the greatest movie I have seen in the past decade.
In this particular thread it seems in especially poor taste that your choice of words when complimenting a female actor was to say “most women cannot achieve” her vulnerability...Please teach us, oh fount of male wisdom, however can we rise to the level of MALE vulnerability that is apparently in such ample supply???
I LOVE how the message of the film is that you need to keep your guard up with men despite of how ''harmless'' they may seem and that even women can be an obstacle for your freedom when they don't believe you. EXCELLENT CAST as well because all the men that were in this film have played ''the nice guy'' and you get completely tricked of the shit they do for real, it broke me
I now no longer have a problem with Camila Parker-Bowles, amazing how seeing the actress that plays her has written and directed such a powerful movie. Regardless of the ending, it's amazing and Cassandra is a fucking badass.

I don’t know if she’s the frontrunner. Personally, she would be my pick. But this year is particularly evenly paced. Viola and Frances are winning a lot of other awards right now, so they have quite a large chance of winning another Oscar, but I would definitely choose Carey if it were up to me. Also, there’s a lot of rumbling about Vanessa, who could prove to be a bit of a dark horse. But yeah, right now it’s rather evenly paced between Carey, Viola, and Frances, there isn’t yet a clear frontrunner. Actually, Frances WAS considered the frontrunner for a while, so the whole thing can change on a dime.
1:24 - I love how he looked when Carey mentioned Lorene’s movie “ hustlers”. He made a post on insta saying how proud he was of her with that movie and now seeing that just proves how much he cares.
I have just finished the movie, and its going to be with me for a long long time. There are great movies and there are bad movies, and everything in between, but a movie like this, that has the potential to actually be a part of a real change in society, is a wild thing to witness. Its hard for me to explain, but this movie is amazing in so many different ways. Thank you for making this!!

I originally saw Emerald in Call the Midwife but have been blown away since watching some of the things she's written! How lucky we are to be alive at the same time as this multi-talented wonder!:)

I'm so confused why they keep focusing on the romcom aspect. After watching the film I'd have thought they would be against the romantic notions pushed in society/films?? The romantic part of the film definitely wasn't the main takeaway from it, if anything it was just a plot to support the bigger plot of revenge/forgiveness/relationships. Maybe I'm thinking into this too deep ..
I think they were focusing on that because A) that’s the section of the film Bo is involved in so he couldn’t speak to the more revenge/darker side of the movie & B) the director didn’t want to spoil what the revenge was about. They don’t bring up Cassie’s past, the initial incident that derailed her life, why she’s seeking revenge and how she’s going about that (other than going home with the guys). They wanted to leave it mysterious and let the audience have just the more vital information so that the plot twists are unpredictable and make you think about them long after watching the movie

Even the trailer gives away the premise which I don't think hurt the experience of watching the film as there were still twists and surprises. I absolutily LOOOOOVED this movie in SO many ways! THe story got so close to my heart!!! I have been on sooooooo many dates with 'nice guys' and when yo dont put out, you sudonly dont hear anything anymore.... THe audio was so perfectly editen (unlike a lot of movies now), such gorgeous shots. I can go on and on and on. I wish every young woman would watch this.
This became one of my favorite movies of all time. It's amazing and truly one of the best journeys a filmmaker has put me on. Everyone deserves awards.
I've done one thing like this, but it's dangerous with most guys. You don't want to encourage this. Most males can easily overpower almost any female. It's not like the weak ones are going to drag you around or even think to. I knew I was stronger than a male who had his wife and girlfriend pregnant and wouldn't leave me alone, so I told him there was a shortcut ahead and took him to the farthest point of the base and left him and his rollerblades he bought. He was also a PT failure. He was in agony. I usually don't get that angry, but he managed to make me so. Of course, they didn't kill him or people like him, but my crushes that I wrote about on Facebook messenger caused me to be hunted. Being hunted is a problem for several females.

I feel like the alcohol culture, allows people to shed the feelings of responsibility for their actions. I saw alcohol as the smoking gun of this film. Which is why I feel it makes people feel they can deny these things more easily in their minds than they might’ve if they’d been taking these actions sober.

i’ve written essays praising emerald and carey, but right now i was to point out something kind of subtle i noticed in this interview about Bo.
Bo sits back, farther than the girls are from each other, and his light top makes him blend even further into the background. but he’s sat back so much that he’s almost cut off on the right side of the frame, and throughout the interview he mostly just listens to carey and emerald. he seems to be purposefully stepping back, physically but conversationally as well, only speaking when addressed or referenced.
he’s a great comedian and extremely quick witted normally, so i’m sure he has a lot of funny quips running through his head at all times. but because of the focus this movie has on women behind and in front of the camera as well as women’s experiences with men overall, he’s giving the subject the gravity it deserves and giving emerald and carey the time to say their piece before he adds onto it. like it should be common sense that a man shouldn’t cut off a women when she’s talking about the female experience, but you’d be surprised how many men do. but he doesn’t.
and the reason i find that so wonderful because i feel like comedians, and more often male comedians, have a tendency to interject a lot in interviews - which i don’t usually mind that much anyway when they have good comedic timing - but in this instance Bo is recognizing that some parts of this conversation are about things he really has never experienced and therefore he’s letting the authorities on the subject say what they want to say before he adds his own thoughts or jokes. and he’s obviously actively listening and very mindful of this.
i’ve always loved Bo’s comedy partially because it’s so self aware. he seems to be acutely aware of his place in any given situation, and especially aware of when it’s better to stay in that place or subvert the expectation. so i’m glad those skills show through to these serious topics and social situations as well, not just his comedy.
he truly is his character in real life, and by that i mean the romance-montage paris-hilton-loving ryan, without the other garbage. honestly i feel like ryan’s function in the movie may not have been as successfully executed with a different actor because he is so distinct and smart and respectful. when i heard the first line of ryan’s voice in the tape, i gasped along with cassandra because i was so surprised, and to pull that off it takes a lot of subtlety.
tldr; though obviously carey and emerald are the focus, i just love bo for his emotional social and comedic intelligence. he’s one of a kind and i hope to see him in more things, or making more projects similar to Eighth Grade.

Like in real life, the scariest part is that normal good guys are the aggressors or the bystanders of that violence, because is not about specifically those guys in the movie but about how living in a rape sexist culture gives you permission to think what you are doing is not a crime. She would’ve move on if everyone around her would’ve act accordingly to the severity of the crime. The scariest scene for me was with the Dean because it shows this is waaaay bigger than Nina, when she says that every week we have at least 2 accusations like this, and instead of she thinking, I have a severe problem where my female students are being systematically attacked and they are not safe, she thinks o well girls like to lie, and statistically only 2% of those accusations turns out to be false, because is is really hard to come forward with an accusation like this, puts you in the most vulnerable spot, a spot you don’t want to be in just like that. What normalization does is that allows violence to escalate. We have that problem in Mexico, every day 11 women die mostly at the hands of their acquaintances, their couple, a cousin, a neighbor, a friend, a police that is supposed to protect you, not an unknown drug dealer. And I’m not even talking about how many women suffer any kind of sexual assault without dying. We needed a movie like this.

The problem is Mexico's corrupt government. Not a particularly more toxic man problem. The cartels pay off large parts of the government. And the way around that is not to have mob rule trials initiated by screeching women.
Women and men have ample opportunity at least in America to report sexual assault. But, it is college aged women that specically act suspiciously like con artists when asked to report the crime to the police and generally provide some form of evidence.
Don't tell me that's not behavior that is also common in people who are lying and hiding something.

@@mjlim6610 I don't think that's it at all. I think that's a line women say a lot. I think it has little to do with reality, though. I was raped by my roomate in boarding school as a teenager and had no issue reporting (state police not local). You don't go alone. And being raped gave me occasion to speak to many men later in life who were too. They had no issue reporting either. I can't vouch for the properness of the prosecution process because I know many people who've been screwed over by the state's eagerness to plea out and just shortchange cases. But, I can say that police are not shaming women as a trend.
If you don't report it is is your own stupid short signtedness or even worse because you have something to hide and the story is not entirely true. I understand how maybe you cannot initiate a report if you are young and underage. But, many who claim they could not were adult women then. It's ridiculous on its face and very suspicious. Normal people report when felonies are committed against them. There is something bizarre and deviant about the supposed trend of women not reporting. It either says feminism is teaching them to make bad sex into rape and they know they are lying orrr it means some of these women are being raped and they have phenomenally lower threshold for dealing with reality and trauma than their male counterparts.
I have seen many women on extremist feminist forums like gendercritical who would say I didn't really enjoy the sex yesterday night with my boyfriend but I had it. I'm thinking now it was rape. So, understand there are a good number of women who delegitimatize the reality of rape and weaponize it. Lie about it. Spin it in fantasy and so forth.
But, if women can call the police when they've been physically attacked and are in mortal danger then tell me how so many cannot make a report when they are not in danger after being sexually assaulted. It just doesn't track with reality. But, perhaps these are some of the more mentally ill women who have been asssaulted.
The issue with Mexico is a separate one. It's a country with hundreds of times more problems than America. I cannot imagine the police do well there.

I think this movie is WAY underappreciated. Cassie's journey is twisted, and it's heartbreaking, even arguably immoral- but at the same time elements of her character are understandable at the least and exhilarating at the most (for me). Such an intensely complex, artistic, terrifyingly relatable piece needs to be recognized for what it is- a gift.

By “arguably immoral” I meant that the way she would play with people’s emotions in order to exact revenge or get them to understand, or the purposely dangerous situations Cassie would put herself in with men were brutal, especially toward the end with Al. They also must have destroyed her a little, therefore arguably immoral.
This is so random but I'm a straight woman and find myself captivated by how beautiful Emerald Fennell is. Her bone structure, the way she speaks...she just exudes a natural elegance while also seeming very intelligent and down-to-earth. It's nice that she doesn't look like everyone else in Hollywood either, we need more of that.

I’ve seen nearly every horror/disturbing movie and this film manage to make he hold my breath, squirm in my seat. Bravo. Its a fkn great film. Hard but a joy to watch.

one thing that the film does quite well is making every character feel so believable and real even though the background is so colourful and edgy, like the fact that it deconstructs the whole what doesn't kill you makes you stronger trope and faces the fact that trauma like this can really break a woman down for example the main character seems at first like the most badass person ever and that she is so strong but really you can see how hurt she really was because of her past trauma and that not everything she did was the right call to be made ideally. Ultimately the traumatic events that the movie refers to from her past and the whole culture of the society around them caused the loss of the promising young women in the film.
I'd watch any movie Emerald writes or directs in the future!

I thought the direction, the costumes, the production design were all so clever. It was pastel and bright. Cassies house and wardrobe was hyper feminine covered in flowers and pink. And Ryan always wore blue. The pastels almost create a dollhouse effect. The final scene SPOILERS with Cassies death with her under a pillow and al on top of her for so long while he could have easily slipped his hand out of the handcuffs using a lever was so powerful. I think there’s some really cool symbolism in this movie that i can’t quite put into words

I watched this masterpiece for the first time yesterday and I don't even know where to begin. It hit home because one of my best friends went through a similar situation and from my perspective I could see how jarring, incredibly scarring and unbelievably painful it is to be blamed for being intoxicated and not being able to consent or say no. It made me want to cry and couldn't stop thinking about so many other stories from loved ones involving being questioned and judged.
People complaining about the end and expecting it to have been a happy one, I humbly believe, are missing the entire point. Life is unfair, shitty things happen every day, sometimes there is no justice, sometimes people don't get a happily ever after, but Cassie made sure she did everything in her power to do things right for Nina's memory (and herself).
It'll take me some time to digest for sure, but this is superb and quite possibly the greatest movie I have seen in the past decade.

I LOVE how the message of the film is that you need to keep your guard up with men despite of how ''harmless'' they may seem and that even women can be an obstacle for your freedom when they don't believe you. EXCELLENT CAST as well because all the men that were in this film have played ''the nice guy'' and you get completely tricked of the shit they do for real, it broke me

I don’t know if she’s the frontrunner. Personally, she would be my pick. But this year is particularly evenly paced. Viola and Frances are winning a lot of other awards right now, so they have quite a large chance of winning another Oscar, but I would definitely choose Carey if it were up to me. Also, there’s a lot of rumbling about Vanessa, who could prove to be a bit of a dark horse. But yeah, right now it’s rather evenly paced between Carey, Viola, and Frances, there isn’t yet a clear frontrunner. Actually, Frances WAS considered the frontrunner for a while, so the whole thing can change on a dime.

I have just finished the movie, and its going to be with me for a long long time. There are great movies and there are bad movies, and everything in between, but a movie like this, that has the potential to actually be a part of a real change in society, is a wild thing to witness. Its hard for me to explain, but this movie is amazing in so many different ways. Thank you for making this!!

I'm so confused why they keep focusing on the romcom aspect. After watching the film I'd have thought they would be against the romantic notions pushed in society/films?? The romantic part of the film definitely wasn't the main takeaway from it, if anything it was just a plot to support the bigger plot of revenge/forgiveness/relationships. Maybe I'm thinking into this too deep ..
I think they were focusing on that because A) that’s the section of the film Bo is involved in so he couldn’t speak to the more revenge/darker side of the movie & B) the director didn’t want to spoil what the revenge was about. They don’t bring up Cassie’s past, the initial incident that derailed her life, why she’s seeking revenge and how she’s going about that (other than going home with the guys). They wanted to leave it mysterious and let the audience have just the more vital information so that the plot twists are unpredictable and make you think about them long after watching the movie

Even the trailer gives away the premise which I don't think hurt the experience of watching the film as there were still twists and surprises. THe audio was so perfectly editen (unlike a lot of movies now), such gorgeous shots. I can go on and on and on. I wish every young woman would watch this.

We needed this film. Because it is like looking in the mirror and thinking what would I do. Am I a good person?
I've done one thing like this, but it's dangerous with most guys. You don't want to encourage this. Most males can easily overpower almost any female. It's not like the weak ones are going to drag you around or even think to. I knew I was stronger than a male who had his wife and girlfriend pregnant and wouldn't leave me alone, so I told him there was a shortcut ahead and took him to the farthest point of the base and left him and his rollerblades he bought. He was also a PT failure. He was in agony. I usually don't get that angry, but he managed to make me so. Of course, they didn't kill him or people like him, but my crushes that I wrote about on Facebook messenger caused me to be hunted. Being hunted is a problem for several females.
