Thank you, Glass Tiger for an Amazing Show @ The CNE in Toronto, on August 28, 2022. So happy I was there. Excellent Concert!! Please come back next summer!!!! :)
I still remember watching this video for the very first time as a young teenager back in 1988 on CBC Video Hits. I was a fan of the first album, The Thin Red Line, and this was from a brand new album release with new music, new sound, and a slightly new look for the band. It took a little bit of time for this album to grow on me when I was a kid since I was more used to their pop-sounding songs from the first album, but looking back this was a great album with a more maturer sound, which I definitely like way more as an adult now.
I loved this group glass tiger in 1986 1987 1989 when I was in middle School back then and I still listen to glass tiger to this day of 2019 at 46Years old . Love Glass Tiger . Thanks TroyFrost / Troyster 😎 CoolRiffs😎 Cool🎸 🤘🤘 🤘
SO remembering! Back in the days before TH-cam (gasp) or the Internet and couldn't see a video whenever you wanted. I remember actually setting my alarm clock so that I wouldn't miss the MuchMusic premiere of this video! The days when Glass Tiger was the ONLY band, I constantly had one of their albums going in my tape cassette player and their songs constantly coming belting out of my mouth. And my family, friends, and co-workers had no choice but to SUCK IT UP! They are still the BEST thing Canada produced! Muah ha ha ha=maniacal laugh. My but it was good to be young! Love Laura-Lee
I remember those days! You had to wait for it to me on tv. I remember watching Video Hits with Samantha Fox, after school, with a blank tape in the VCR, all ready to record Glass Tiger when they came on. You know what I think is kinda weird? Okay, for those of us who are a bit older, things that were nostalgic for us (like Glass Tiger videos), we experienced them, and then they pretty much went away - then 80s came and went, and there wasn't any TH-cam or Internet yet, so, you couldn't conjure up the things from your past...you couldn't watch GT videos or whatever. When the Internet and everything happened, it was like a Tresure Chest, to me - I could look up old 80s movies, tv shows, commercials, music, everything. But, for people born later on, they didn't have that time period where they couldn't look up their nostalgic stuff. It was just always there for them. To me, being the age I am, that would be odd to have just always had that there at your fingertips. It kinda would have taken the fun out of it, too, if you ask me. It wouldn't have felt like a Treasure Chest if I could have just accessed it all along.
Yet more PROOF that Canada rocks!! So glad as an American that I live a few miles from the border so I can hear all of these outstanding bands that never got played in the United States
Glass Tiger is a Canadian rock band that formed in 1983, in Newmarket, Ontario. Origin: Newmarket, Canada (1986) Members: Alan Frew, Sam Reid, Al Connelly, Wayne Parker, Chris McNeill Genres: Rock music, Pop rock, New wave, Electronics in rock music
I was only about 11 when this song came out, but it sure brings back alot of great memories of growin' up in the late 1980's in B.C. (and Canada in general!_)
One of the 10 greatest bands from Canada: Rush, Honeymoon Suite, Loverboy, April Wine, BTO, Glass Tiger, Bryan Adams, Aldo Nova, Triumph, The Pursuit of Happiness, Platinum Blonde, the Kings and Steppenwolf are my tops !
Maybe this song didn't go as far as it should have back in the day, but that's ok, because it is on regular rotation in my workout playlists! i love these guys and "Don't forget me". The whole "Diamond Sun" was a good album anyway!
The rumors are vicious My ears are burning It's been a long, hard day Telephone rings I still got nothing to say Considerations tossed Out the window I feel a little bit wired The rules say anything goes But I don't want to play You said I could walk away Take me back to where My life burns I'm still searching for something I'm still looking for someone But I'm caught in the middle Of a broken heart And a life on the run Took a long walk I went down through the backstreets I heard the city scream Reminds me of the time I run wicked and free Now, here I stand all alone But I'm back to where My life burns One heart One home But I'm still holding on I've loved But I've roamed Now I'm goin' home Goin' home
White shirt with suspenders and teal shirt in bar scene..Michael Hanson is super hot in this video. For fans of MH, he will be releasing a CD in the Fall so watch out for it.
The 30th anniversary for the Thin Red Line Album was 2016, maybe as late as 2017, and there was no reunion tour for that. If all the original band members didn't reunite for a reunion tour during these last 2 years, then they likely never will. Even this year 2017 the original bass player was not there for their live shows. The reality is that there is not enough demand in ticket sales for Glass Tiger to do a full reunion together because most of their fan base are now middle aged adults in their 40's who are too busy with so many other things in their lives such as work, their kids, aging ill parents, or have simply lost interest in the band long time ago. Sorry :(
If this came out today, sounding exactly like this, I’d be like wow, what is that?! There’s no music like this anymore. It’s either autotuned or just lame.
My dad would say, "How can you like these guys with their sissified hair? " Guys in the 80s were fun & friendly. I'd be afraid to even talk to a guy in a bar nowadays, I'd probably end up with a knife in my throat.
My biggest problem with Glass Tiger, just like Journey, is that I have never been to a concert of theirs'. If I could go to Canada to Glass Tiger, I definitely would!!!!
Canadian bands are underrated. Underrated would be an understatement. This is music to my ears.
This is a great good song from a talented Canadian band 🎧👍
This song is feelgood.
This song is rockin.
This song is Awesome!

Great song. I remember coming home from school in grade 10 and watching this on MuchMusic every afternoon in early 88.
Glass Tiger is one of my fave Canadian bands! 🇨🇦🐅🐯🎶

Heard this song on the radio today! Great song!
Glad I heard this on the radio, another great song to add to my 80's playlist.

Hey there fellow Canadian! We saw them the other night in Calgary. Great show! I miss the 80s!
I know you wrote this ages ago but I'm from Calgary and grew up listening to Glass Tiger. They were my favourite band 35 years ago!
This Sing Went To Number 31 On The Billboard Hot-100 Chart In 1988.
This song makes me feel so powerful and happy!!!
great song
Should have been a much bigger hit. Absolutely love this song, doesn't get any airplay in Australia anymore :(
It’s a staple on radio here in Canada
One of my favourites
I feel you... that's why I spotified it
It hit #2 here in Canada but that was 35 years ago this year. Good Lord!
Such a nice song such a nice voice❤
Their best song.
Awesome! I forgot all about this song until 80s on 8 played it as a 'deep cut'. I also like their other two hits.
How was this not a mammoth worldwide hit !! Bloody criminal that it wasn’t
Not enough cowbell.
@@scottlarson1548 haha 👌
It’s because these epic 80’s songs are not yet to be understood by next generations. They will be brought to light soon.
Pure Canadian anthem!!! I looove it!!!
great song from many years gone by
Yet more PROOF that Canada rocks!! So glad as an American that I live a few miles from the border so I can hear all of these outstanding bands that never got played in the United States

Platinum Blonde, the Kings and Steppenwolf are my tops !
You forgot to mention SAGA!
nothing beats the eighties
Haha. I saw the eighties. Great time to grow up without parental helicoptering, but music is far better today.
Tremendo tema de los 80's
Saw them at the Miami Metrozoo concert series in the 80s. Very good show.
Maybe this song didn't go as far as it should have back in the day, but that's ok, because it is on regular rotation in my workout playlists! i love these guys and "Don't forget me". The whole "Diamond Sun" was a good album anyway!
Love this song \
I see they tour Canada, hopefully they make it to the U.S. soon.
The rumors are vicious
My ears are burning
It's been a long, hard day
Telephone rings
I still got nothing to say
Considerations tossed
Out the window
I feel a little bit wired
The rules say anything goes
But I don't want to play
You said I could walk away
Take me back to where
My life burns
I'm still searching for something
I'm still looking for someone
But I'm caught in the middle
Of a broken heart
And a life on the run
Took a long walk
I went down through the backstreets
I heard the city scream
Reminds me of the time
I run wicked and free
Now, here I stand all alone
But I'm back to where
My life burns
One heart
One home
But I'm still holding on
I've loved
But I've roamed
Now I'm goin' home
Goin' home
Hacen 25 años que no escuchaba esta cancion.
I have to admit I didn't know they were still performing...they need to come through B.C. more often!
They are playing Whoop Up Days in Lethbridge Alberta in Sept. Come along!
This song was the reason why I bought Diamond Sun.
Heard this on 800 CHAB AM and just had to put it on my Spotify!
I heard This Song on 102.1 CJCY Medicine Hat Alberta.
they played whoop up days in Lethbridge alberta in aug.
OMG this was shot in casa loma... sweet
I was unsure until I saw the bathroom!
pase por lo menos 30 años buscando está canción
That's got to be high praise to the guys in this band!! Glad your search for "I'm Still Searchin'" finally brought you back to this gorgeous song
Well let's go
Tremendo😁😁😁😁
This song was on boom 97.3 last night!
White shirt with suspenders and teal shirt in bar scene..Michael Hanson is super hot in this video. For fans of MH, he will be releasing a CD in the Fall so watch out for it.
Katie T he reminds me of Michael sweet lol
Canadian music hits from the 80s
Me too...i m still searching..but i meet only broken heart..and lowers of road
Does this have vibes of The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades?
I had a hard time finding Waldo on the last page, too.
Time for Michael Hanson, original drummer to rejoin GT on tour for nostalgic reasons. Petition GT facebook and tweet them.

Fans are in their 40's and have other things too do Hmm, gnr and the stones don't have a problem having their old fans to fill the Rogers centre

Great music comes from the north. 🇨🇦
Great fuckin song
Tigre de Cristal es como las figuras que ponemos encima de la coqueta.
Guitarist does some Keith Richards moves must be a fan
What was that Huge Book with names and digits beside them? WEIRD!!!
My dad would say, "How can you like these guys with their sissified hair? " Guys in the 80s were fun & friendly. I'd be afraid to even talk to a guy in a bar nowadays, I'd probably end up with a knife in my throat.
This song was like rich don't make you happy nor homelessness, we have to work.
I'm sitting here with the young blond girl in the video thirty years later!
Casa Loma!
back when i used to have hair and speakers that wern't crappy
My first tape lol
My biggest problem with Glass Tiger, just like Journey, is that I have never been to a concert of theirs'. If I could go to Canada to Glass Tiger, I definitely would!!!!
The Great Gatsby and rap do not mix.
In the 80's women stills look like women
Wow....this song really sucks....who are these people anyway??
