Osaka provides a lot of attractions to tourist such as Universal Studio Japan, Osaka Castle, Tsutenkaku and Abeno Harukas. As well as many spots, Osaka is famous for cheap and delicious foods such as Takoyaki, Kushikatsu and Okonomiyaki.

Let me know which part do you live in your country:)
I will come for 10 days
Which city’s,how many nights I have to stay ,can you help me
I'm heading to Osaka later this month and the places I would like to see are Osaka Castle, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, Dotonbori, and Den Den Town among others.
This is definitely one of the best videos on things to do in Osaka. It will be quite helpful for my upcoming trip, thank you 🙏
Sure, thank you too!
I'm glad you like it 😁
Thanks for very helpful video for travel. I added my travel list:)
Good it was helpful for you 😄
#11. Join a meetup. Meet and talk to Japanese locals who enjoy speaking English and meeting foreigners.
Yes I have joined a meetup.
Love this video
Thank you
Thank you too!
Lovd ur video thx a lot
Thanks a lot for your nice and helpful video
Sure! Thank you too :)
Great narration! Really makes me want to visit!
Thank you! Glad you liked it.
Glad you liked it man :)
From Perth n visit Osaka in 2 weeks! Thanks for this video!
Have a nice and safe trip:)
Meg, thank you so much for these recommendations! We went to Oishimono Yokocho today. We tried the takoyaki at the same resturant, kushikatsu, and yakitori. They were all so delicious 😋
Wow!! You've visited there! So good you liked it :)
The Kushi-Katsu looks really good!
Yes, it was really good!
Great job on the video. Your english is excellent.
Good to hear that! Thank you!
Hello! I am from California (around San Fransisco). I will be visiting Osaka in early December. ❤ thankyou for this information!
Wow! You must be excited!
Hope it helps you 🙏
We definitely found the people of Osaka less shy than the people in Tokyo. More willing to talk to foreigners anyway. We only had a week there, and only covered a small proportion of it. If I wasn't so old I'd go back like a shot.😃
The people in Osaka are not usually shy 😂 If you make friends there, I think they will be even more friendly.
Thank you
My pleasure 😊
Foodie!
Yeah I am 😁
Thank you, very helpful. My son and grandson are going in 2024, this will be the first time leaving Alaska. This is going to help them so much.
Cool!! I hope the travel will be great for your son and grandson:)
Hope you guys have a blast in Osaka, its such a vibrant city to walk around in. my best tip when it comes to traveling (though this might be hard depending on the age of the grandson) try walking as much as posible between station. The most amazing places i find is not that close to the stations and i often stumble upon them walking between stations.
Also, not mentioned in this video but might be fun for the smallest, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan. I havent been there myself, but evryone i know who has, have only warm things to say. I Assume Universal is allready on your schedual
This is going to be very helpful for when we come to Osaka in October
Oh glad to hear that!
Hope you enjoyed it in Osaka, it did become a little crazy certain days this time (2023) with riot police being stationed many days due to diffrent events like Baseball.
@@deaddrunkgamer7399 had a blast when we went!
This is helpful! I plan to visit Osaka the next time I go to Japan. It seems like there is a lot to do! Also, the aquarium is apparently a good one!
I also wanted to share a small tip with you, if that's ok! In English, the いいねbutton is usually called the "like button". So, people usually say "click the like button" or "please like this video and subscribe" or something similar.
Thank you for your advice. I'll start saying 'please click the like button' in my videos from now on!!
Yes, Osaka has one of the biggest aquariums in the world as well. You should visit there, too :)
@@MegLog_JAPANthanks for the heads up
there are 2 stations very close to osaka castly, if you walk in an very slow pace you will be at the castle in 10 min top.
Tanimachiyonchome Station
Temmabashi Station
Me myself use around 40-50 min walkking depending on lights and speed from Dotonbori to Osaka castle for refference.
Kuramon market is indeed kind of pricy, it's starting to be a bit of a tourist trap price wize. its not a big issue, as its still fairly cheap, just keep in mind its not the cheapest spot in Osaka.
Also credit where credit due, you do mention a lot of spots a lot of travel influencers doenst mention i find that quite refresing :)
thank you, this video was so helpful!!! i can't wait to visit dotonbori at night, and also eat all the delicious foods osaka has to offer :D
Yup!!! Have a good trip!!
@@MegLog_JAPAN thank you :D
So much good food around Dotonbori, though i do find a lot of the food a little gimicky, took me full 3 trips to Osaka before even tasting Takoyaki (from Taco King) im not the biggest fan octopus but must admit the takoyaki wasnt to bad.
i usually stop by Umiya cafe westpoint for breakfast sandwiches or a rice bowl with beef before starting adventuring.
@@deaddrunkgamer7399 i'm not a big fan of octopus either, so i'm glad that the takoyaki can still be tasty for people like us😁 also, umiya cafe westpoint looks like it has good food!
@@maf7624 it does, its my go to place for a drink and something quick. often stopped by for breakfast and night snack ^^ and explored my options for dinner
Great video thank you! Videos made by locals are definitely more informative.
What were the three places in Kuromon market? Unfortunately couldn't really figure out the spelling for them. Thanks!

Great video, heading to Osaka in a month for 5 days. Any nice hotel recommendations that is central to Dotonbori/Kuromon Market/Shinsaibashi. I’m looking at these hotels - Centara, Moxy and Swissotel Nankai. Thank you

@@MegLog_JAPAN what part of Osaka should I stay ? I value your opinion.
Thank you for your recommendations. I’m interested in book stores. Do you have any suggestions?
You mean like English book stores? If you visit Osaka, how about here?

I will be visiting Osaka and Kyoto soon! Ive been to Japan before and spent much time in Tokyo. Love your country. An introvert's dream!
How many days/nights do you feel is acceptable to get a good feel for Osaka?
What part of my country? Im from New York. Much respect from one global city to another!
Wow! Is it your second time to visit Japan? :)
I feel 3 days is acceptable to get a good feel for Osaka!
@@MegLog_JAPAN technically, yes. 2nd time. But shorter stay. Have to head to Hong Kong afterwards and then to London. Wish I can stay longer!
Perfect! That's the amount of days I was thinking was acceptable for Osaka. I'm visiting Ghibli theme park from Osaka as a day trip and also Kyoto during my stay in Osaka. I cannot wait to try the food. I am also hoping to meet up with my friend in Tokyo who is a reporter for puroresu. New Japan Pro Wrestling. Goes way back in your country starting with the legendary Rikidozan, who was Korean but that may be still be a sensitive topic since every Japanese person has likely heard of him and knows him as a national hero. Then Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba came later. And 2000s was the great Kazushi Sakuraba. The Gracie Killer.
I know much about your country. I really do love it! It is like adult Disneyland for tourists haha.😁❤
@@johnhodgeman3980 You must be so excited! Have a lovely and safe trip ☺️
how many days do I need to stay in Osaka to be able to go to these places?
It depends on how many hours you want to spend but maybe 3 days?
When u come osaka? How the weather now?
I cannot tell you exactly the weather in Osaka! It's just not a rainy season like June.
