I was in Osaka in 2017. We spent an entire day in and around the castle grounds. Unfortunately we just ran Short of time. Now we just need all these travel restrictions lifted so we can return and enjoy this wonderful place ❤️⛩️🗾👍
You are one of the best travel content creator. So many I've seen, mostly vloggers, are all about themselves. I like how humble you are, take really great shots and have a story to your videos. You're definitely amongst the best, I put you together with Paolo from Tokyo, InternationallyMe, Loaty, Miss Mina, and someone else I forgot the name of. But cinematography wise, you're easily number 1.
I'm heading to Japan in 2024 and I start in Osaka so this video was really helpful. Two things I'd like to visit in Osaka are the Aquarium and Den Den Town (Osaka's equivalent of Akihabara).
Ive been in japan and went to some places... osaka made me left a small piece of my heart and until now ive been dreaming of coming back there.. ive been missing being there.. the food is amazing.. u cant be hungry there at night... very peaceful at night when you walk around.. one night i had thought if ever i gave a chance to live between tokyo or osaka... i will choose osaka without a heartbeat ❤
I found this video a little late while making my Osaka plans, but your footage and recommendations have completely validated my itinerary and got me even more excited.
I have been living in Kansai area of Japan so long, but you reminded me that I still have many places I miss. Your camera movement is great. I learned a lot from you. Thank you.
Hardly recommended by most TH-camrs, but if you go to Osaka with kids or family, I highly recommend going to Tennoji Zoo. For a city zoo it has quite a lot of animals. But the main attractions are the super cute red pandas and polar bears! Plus it's free with Osaka Amazing Pass!
Kuromon market in the morning is worth a visit too. Vibrant, energetic, and tasty at the same time. Love the places and recommendations in your video too.
I was in Tokyo couple weeks ago and I didn’t think Osaka would offer anything Tokyo doesn’t. I regret not stopping by Osaka. Knowing I am returning to Japan for sure, this time Osaka will be my primary stay. Very excited to return to Japan.
Thanks man. It's my first day here, I spent all day at Osaka Castle park, and I think i'm gonna go to Dotonbori tonight !!! I wanna ride that DonQ Ferris wheel.
Been to Osaka twice in the last two years and I think you've nailed everything 👌🏼 I've done everything on that list except the Fugu though haha. Keep up the great work!
I will be going here for a week in April with my fiancé after staying in marunouchi for a week, I absolutely can not wait to visit! Thank you for all the tips in this video myself and my fiancé will definitely do at least 14 out of the 15 of these (only one we will pass on is the fugu fish) thanks again! 😁👍
1:55 the best takoyaki imo, kukuru(くくる). It's located in Dotonbori, but be careful when You bite,it's VERY hot. Get a bottle of water or other drink, or wait a few minutes before eat
yeah that's not how you pronounce it .Osaka is pronounced with a long "o" and a short "a". I was going to give him a pass, but then he pronounced dontonbori wrong! He says donbori.
Can you add the subtitles in the videos? I really love your videos, thank for your videos, my English improved a lot. But sometimes, the subtitles is not exactly and cause some misunderstood. Anyway, thank you very much!
Omg....i just realized u ate the same exact takoyaki at the same exact location me and my friend did 😂😂 i was just looking at some of our vlogs we took for fun and i thought something looks familiar
i really never wanted to visit osaka because of the chaos (visually) but the shrine seems lovely and peaceful. still not sure i will go. also can you get those pablo cheese tarts anywhere else in japan? could i find them in tokyo or kyoto? it will save me from going to osaka. they remind me of pasteis de nata from madeira and portugal.
I want to take my mum to Osaka this November. Can someone tell me if it’s a good month to visit Osaka and how the weather would be. I fell in love with Kyoto first time I went there. But any other recommendations to visit with my mum? This will be the first time that I’d take my mum to a vacation with me with my own money. I want to impress her 🥰
Is Osaka so different than anything else in Japan? I am going to visit a 20+ days trip to Japan from Europe and as you can imagine this won't come cheap. So it would be a waste of time to see "another" Tokyo. Which places have to offer this unique feeling? After Tokyo, of course. Not that Tokyo is the best, but it is the capital, and you can not skip the capital.
Hi! I really like your cinematic videos. I planned my visit to Japan with this videos🙏🏼 Can i ask, did you use IC Card for transportation; i checked JR pass link that you shared. I will travel in Osaka and Kyoto only, it is so expensive for it.
Currently in Osaka. Hopefully I will be able to find my way to the castle, and get some Okinomiyaki. 😊 Well, it is a bit scary as I can't speak too much japanese. And they speak sooo fast. So it's hard to grasp quite often. 😂
I very much appreciate how calmly and quietly you share your list.

I was born and grew up in Osaka. Your video is awesome.
I might be moving here in June I’m pretty excited
@sonya me either
Me too!
Hello
How are you not famous? These vlogs are amazing
Great video. I love your calm not-in-your-face narration. Beautifully edited. My wife and I just arrived and this is so helpful. Thanks so much.

My exact same experience
Just a few more things:
Sumiyoshi Taisha
Orange Street
Denden Town
Abeno Harukas and
USJ
+ Join Yakuza
I would weigh 300 pounds if I spent more than a week in Osaka. The best chow in the world!
Right! How do the Japanese stay so slim?! I will be gaining weight I know.

please don't support zoos. I hope this animal prisons will be forbidden soon.
Best TH-camr ever! 😀😀
I appreciate your content Allen! They literally take me back to when I went to Japan last year.
Kuromon market in the morning is worth a visit too. Vibrant, energetic, and tasty at the same time. Love the places and recommendations in your video too.
One of the best travel videos i've seen, beautiful camera work
sinsekai look so diferent now, when i was there it was light up so beautifully, and there are a lot of decoration
Really want to visit Japan one day looks like a really lovely country and the food looks amazing
I do love travel but the why I'm here for Osaka is Yuta☺️. Thanks for your amazing video💚
I was in Tokyo couple weeks ago and I didn’t think Osaka would offer anything Tokyo doesn’t. I regret not stopping by Osaka. Knowing I am returning to Japan for sure, this time Osaka will be my primary stay. Very excited to return to Japan.
Go to kyoto too!!
You have to go all over Japan. Tokyo is only one aspect of Japan.
グリコや蟹の看板、通天閣には観光客しか行きません
メディアが絶対に映してくれない本物の大阪は梅田の地下にあります
機会があればおこしください😄
Thanks for the tips. I'm really looking forward to visit Osaka next year and will definitely try the place you recommended :)
I’m planning a vacation to Osaka so I really appreciate this video. Thank you very much.

That pablo... love it!!!

Will do!
@@AllanSuOsaka better than Tokyo?
@@giomusah2155 been to both places several times, and man I don't think osaka stands a chance against Tokyo
Nice Osaka street food. Love it.
really well made and helpful video! Keep up the good work!
this was so calming
10:30 pink guy cameo

Great video. Heading to Osaka in November so this was perfect for me. Thanks.

Hi Allen thanks for very informative narrative but cd you add some input for vegetarian meals.we are going in May and find yr narratives so useful
watching this vid, cause i wanna reminisce my 2019 trip to Osaka, and really missing the place and hoping to visit again after Covid subsides.....
Thank you for your information, ill be in osaka for a month, definitely gonna visit these places
Well done. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing all these. It's really great.
the minute you pronounced Osaka as "O-saka" and not "Oh-sa-kah", I knew this was gonna be a good vid ;)
Nobody has ever said it this way or has corrected me. I even know people who live and work in Osaka and they never said it differently to us!!!
yeah that's not how you pronounce it .Osaka is pronounced with a long "o" and a short "a". I was going to give him a pass, but then he pronounced dontonbori wrong! He says donbori.
@@dayla8634 well even you are wrong with that haha it's called Dōtonbori not Dontonbori
@@cherry_s_9394 Yeah you're right :P
But I didn't make a video on it!
@@cherry_s_9394 Actually if you want to be technical it's Doutonbori.
And Osaka is Oosaka.
So calming your voice. We are going Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul in June. My favorite food of all time is okonomiyaki. Would u recommend Universal?
Great video and incredibly helpful. Thank you!
Really helpful video, thanks very much for taking the time!
Great video.. thanks a bunch. Am planning on visiting in 2023 and this helped make some decisons.
Apart from the food and the castle, it looks like things you could do anywhere.
Great video, info and I love the pace. Can’t wait to arrive in Osaka🎉
That low light quality and lense woo! The osaka aquarium is one i really wanted to visit - did you shoot slog at night time? Or cine4?
This was back in my Cine4 days :)
Allan Su ahh its nice for low light hmm,
So now slog for night time as well?

video so well made. are there any vegetarian or vegan options in osaka ?
VIKRANT KULKARNI I’m pretty sure there are

Thank you for the recommendations! Are these all walking distance from each other or is there some type of transportation involved?
I'm planning to go to Osaka in April 2024. Where do you recommend of stay for three days? What kind of transportation passes do you recommend?
