Sorry new to mining, why do you want the PSU exhaust pointing to the intake on the miner? Why would you want the hot air from the PS going into the intake of the miner? Thanks
I did a lot of testing and found that in my setup psu temperature doesn't effect miner itself, check my videos where I heat scan miner and psu after hours of use while box was closed. all my miners run like this for months now and no problems at all.
In my opinion it's the only way the hot air can get out the box, if you draw a diagram of the air flow starting at the front of the box, there is the intake then the air only move in one direction through the miner chamber and finally through the muffler chamber, so de fastest rout is to point the PSU exhaust to the intake of the miner in order to renew the air with fresh air from outside the box.

Am concerned about the air inflow. Is it adviceable to make the inlet air hole to be like that

How to solve the temperature issue? Is the space where the air would enter to circulate and ventilate the chips is not very small?
our design works fine and no issues with temperatures
I'm about to buy an l3+ how often does it ramp up and create the extra db in sound?
It ramps up after a minute of turning it on, then it goes back dpwn after 3-4 minutes. Note it does kick up and down depending on the temptures.

@@john-mi1ud I bought one and built a custom enclosure for it to suppress the noise. It is mounted to my wall in my garage, running strong (overclocked) and only making a constant humming sound.

@@plavition bro they aren't selling that model on the bitmain site anymore because it was released 2019 April so that's why other sites are selling it cause they don't have anymore stock on the bitmain website. the picture and size i gave you is precise i can guarantee it. and i would like to buy quite a lot of these miners so i need a lot of custom cases for it and i am talking about in the 100's/triple digit range. and also i would like to buy one of these miners within the next 4 days so if you could build one of these custom cases by then it would be greatly appreciated for customer service.

Will this setup work since the outblow thing on a Antminer z9 dosent have a fan, its just a flat backside..

whats the DBM before putting it in the box?
if you are asking about room db I think it was little under 40db, if I remember it was like 37-38db. Miner itself runs around 95db.
