I have headphones not listed. Tried different ones in the list. Eh. But sound wise it is okay. Such a hassle downloading it. Finally did and it is underwhelming. Will mess around with it more. I like the sound of limiter no6 than this. Heck, LA esquire limiting sounds better too. We'll see

Plus only 3 knobs so the effect and difference is only okay

Just installed this and am wondering, does it have to remain installed or else you won't be able get it after Oct.1,or once you install it is it always available to download after you login?
    Saw they mention -
"Install and authorize the Sienna FREE in the desired plug-in format before October 1, 2021.
After October 1, 2021, the product will be removed from the Aquarius Desktop application, and it will be no longer available."and would appreciate any info here...

I believe the installation access will be removed, so your install will work but you cant install and authorize again.

It uses the Acustic logic "if it's louder, the user will consider it better, I had +4 bd"

Yeah definitely that main control isn't volume compensated and I found balancing volume difficult because it increased the volume and added ambience but if I compensated then the direct sound would be significantly quieter making it harder for me to EQ those sources. You can hear this at 16:25, it is significantly louder but in my headphones at least the horns got quieter almost as if there was a significant boost to the side channel.

@@JimijaymesProductions yes, for me is a really big problem to a "transparent" studio emulator, I'll look for something better

Thx man ... cool vídeo!!! Help me a lot with this (sorry my english, I'm Brasilian) 🤣🤣🤣 gave me a big light haah!!! How We says here: "uma mão na roda!" hahaha ...
Please see it and see it have sence man 👇🙏
If I don't have a reference, wouldn't it be better to take an already mixed song, a song that rolls in the perfect strems for what I want, listen to it in my headphones, and from there mix mine, using this song from reference?
    Instead of the plugin?
Because I mix it with a plugin and then remove it, right? It's different, I have to keep putting it on and taking it off, right?
A song, as a reference, wouldn't it be just taking a frequency spectrum of it and using an EQ matching my mix to this one? You understands? Or does the plugin do it better?
Plugin or a reference song, what would you advise? If it makes sense what I said?

    • @JimijaymesProductions
      @JimijaymesProductions  ปีที่แล้ว +2

A plugin like this is meant to make headphones sound like a room, so when you use a reference song (through the plugin as well) it sounds like it would on studio speakers in a good mix room. The idea is to get around the issues mixing on headphones can have.
I use slates VSX for this and find it has made my mixing easier but that is an expensive package. So it isn't plugin vs references it's about including it in your monitor chain to help mixes translate and hear things in good mixes you might miss on just headphones.

@@JimijaymesProductions I really understood your explanation, thank you. The idea is to add everything up and test all the possibilities. I have home studio monitor but they are not good. And I record my guitar in my bedroom for my videos here. So a plugin like that gave a north. Even with a reference song, then I use the reference together in the chain, with the plugin and then decide how best to mix it through the headphone. And I'll have a reference room too. I think I understand the reasoning. Despite my poor English. Very glad for you explain man!
