Regardless of what people may think of Jim Cornette and Jim Ross, the amount of death they’ve seen over the years is heartbreaking.

When Cornette's voice broke...dude has his flaws but he loves wrestling and he clearly loves those who wrestled.

Can't believe Steve Austin didn't go to his funeral, those guys were like brothers.

Imagine how devasted Steve must've been when Brian died.

"he went to work that day and decided to stay there" that hit me square between the eyes

My son is only 16 years old. He is a massive wrestling fan. And Brian Pillman is his favorite. His room is filled with Brian Pillman figures, posters, magazines, etc. It is sad to see someone that touched so many people gone.

This is a great series, we all know. But this episode is a specific high point. Pillman had something, and sadly he never had the time to show us all everything he had. What a massive loss.

The part that got me was his little girls running around playing at the funeral and then being asked to come say bye to daddy in the open casket. Like, they didn’t truly realize because of how young they were that that was it. You ain’t seeing your Dad again. Just horrible. RIP Brian.

People die all the time, some more tragically than others, And then Melanie died of a drug overdose, sad.

Austin is really good at departmentalizing his grief for the cameras but you can tell this death still hurts him.

I was born in August of 1990. Brian Pillman died October 5th, 1997... I started watching wrestling during the summer of 1997. So about June 1997 to be exact, it

I think Brian was when WWF realized the wellness program couldn’t be half-assed anymore. A ton of 80’s stars in WCW who used to wrestle with them also died in the late 90’s most famously Rick Rude who passed in an extremely similar fashion.

Man, this clip now hits so much harder for me. Lost my dad back in Jan this year and can relate to Melanie with how she was told by police. Even hearing Meltzer recall how Pillman's kids just said bye daddy was extremely difficult. Also hits harder with the recent news of Melanie's death. Couldn't imagine what Brian must be going through right now
