Hey there Morta, so good to hear from you as well. I was going through quite a bit. I talk about it a bit on the Facebook group. Sorry for the hiatus. I wanted to do a series for the complete newcomer and I also wanted to introduce my son to role playing and solo role playing. He is much like me, so sci fi had to be my target.
The Ironsworn system is so approachable for the new player. So much so that some solo veterans see it as only for the new solo players. But I see it as all of the above. I wanted to take it easy on him and that system really eases you into the concepts of solo role playing. So there you have it.... more Starforged content. I really want to do some Hostile: Solo as I love the system. So that is still a great desire.
Having said all of that....I am so very glad to hear from you and am excited to be back and producing content and interacting with those that are still interested. Thank you for being there.

That's really cool that you have owned your "on the spectrum" status and casually mention it on camera.

Thank you Dragonchr15. I feel as though I need to see it as I see many other things. It is what it is and I shouldn't feel ashamed of it. It has some great benefits and some definite drawbacks.
Sometimes I tend to call it out if I feel like others may not understand why I may act or react in one way or another. Like closing my eyes when I listen or looking away when someone is talking so I am not overwhelmed. Some people may find some of those things offensive, so I let them know that it is actually my attempt to make sure they have my full undistracted focus.
In this case I wanted to make sure everyone understood where he was coming from. The funny thing is that as much as we can struggle to understand others, others can have a hard time understanding us as well. So communicating some of this can help, I think.
Thank you for reaching you and lending your thoughts :)

Interesting approach! I appreciate another look at this particular game, but it's also nice to see you interact with your son.

Hey Chris, thank you so much for the comment. We really had a good time. I am actually recording part of another session with him this afternoon. We are both very excited about it. He also gets to help me test out some new recording equipment so quite the exciting day for both of us. Thank you for watching and being a part my journey!
