Oh yes - I can remember the old-school UK jump offs with Martyn, Martin Hawes, Jez Avery, and Chris Hemming jumping silly heights - that was back in the days of proper race weekends when there were thousands of spectators, a festival atmosphere, racing and tricks competitions all day (DH on a Saturday then XC on a Sunday) with live bands and dance tents in the evenings - thank you UK government and anti-rave public order legislation for killing that off :(
How did I not know Martyn was in a wheelchair? He was already my favorite personality on the channel but this brings it to another level. Type of dude I'd love to be around on a regular. Cheers from Raleigh NC, USA.. 🍻
This channel is great. Came here for Martyn Ashton and really got into it from there. Martyn is amazing with a great spirit. Truly rare chap. Great sense of humor as with many of the people on here. These guys are making quality vids. Thank you. Learning a lot.
Amazing video guys! Last week i made one similar jumping with different bikes and teaching a some tips! Close results, blake made 84cm y made 80cm with a dirt and a enduro bike! Keep it the good work up!! Cheers from Chile!!
great video!! loved seeing the guys just having fun like we do here... and especially it so made my fn day to see martyn out with the guys!!!! thanks Gmbn
cool video, love watching the daily clips. only got into mtb a couple of months ago and you guys really helped me figure some bits out. also, saw martyn Ashton's road bike party the other day. only one word to describe it, awesome.
blake is such an inspiration, yes the other lads on gmbn are great, but the way he rides and his personality is he just sounds like the better person to watch, well done gmbn. good choice
Thank you for share us this video. I really love this video indeed. I will be very happy if u guys upload hybrid or road bike bunnyhop battle. And could u explain me about pedal and shoe that wear on this video. What types of pedal and shoes are the best for bunnyhop. Lastly, Blake's bunnyhop skill is amazing.
I grinned all the way through this. :D and did anyone else notice that Blake at about 4:57 had something like a 'challenge accepted' face???? Let's have a rematch. Thanks guys!!
Besides the bike advantage, also can tell Blake's BMX background. Blake's bunny hops have both wheels level to the ground at highest point and then land on both wheels, vs Scott and Neil have front going down before the rear goes up, and then lands on front wheel first.
we use a limbo bar on our skills track...one of the most hottest competed obstacles with the young folk we work with. once your below handlebar height you need to pull out some fancy technique... give it a go lads!
Blake's got skills! (actually they all do, haha) I'd be lucky to clear the first height. I love seeing Martyn in these videos, the whole time I was watching I was thinking "Martyn would OWN this!".
Blake was definitely the best equipped from the start, with a dj bike. I'm really surprised at how well Scott and Neil did. I can get like 3 feet from my bmx cruiser but probably only a foot or so on my trail bike. I can't even imagine how much work it would be to get a plus bike up that high. Well done, guys!
What’s up Gmbn? Martin is one of my favorite gmbn. I would love to see a video about him. and his mtb career. I recently seen a video where he said he was Blake’s team mate. I find that interesting .
It's so nice to se Martyn as happy as he is now.! :)
Was he serious with the 50 inches? That's sick if so!

Xenoph I've never seen him do it, but judging by his videos like road bike party, I don't doubt it

Its awesome to see Martyn out of the shed!
EdgeOfSanity Yep!!
Blake's face when Martyn tells about his 50inch...bunny hop.

4:55
Now invite Danny Macaskill :P
^_^ Haha
Was about to suggest him too! :D
slaQ83 Scott pilgrim
or Barack Obama
slaQ83 Danny macaskill wins Every time
Hahaaahaaa Blake's face after Martyn tells him that he's managed 50 inches before!
These type of vids are my favroet
Thetrading Panda yis
I love how Martyn lays down the law at the end "My record is maybe a foot higher" hahahah
How did I not know Martyn was in a wheelchair? He was already my favorite personality on the channel but this brings it to another level. Type of dude I'd love to be around on a regular. Cheers from Raleigh NC, USA.. 🍻

Haha. Martyn just causally dropping his super high bunny hop PR.
Drag0ncl0ud d

Neil is at that responsible age where he has to let the young ones win.
Neil Gooders ahahahha best comment hahhah
@@TrollingBerry cc
Well Neil might not have the skills in the parking lot but he definitely can shred
@@gcahbm he had more plush making it harder
Martyn should make a video on wheel chair trials
he should do a colab with Papu Frank to pimp his wheelchair
Tony Eatinsky just no dude
Lowland Visuals lel
Lowland Visuals just yes dude
Or a manual challenge against the others , like when he leans back and just goes on his big wheels (idk if you can do that but)

Mtb Enduro Chile i tried same thing but never got close to 80 cm. 42 cm!
Mr. Ashton you're such an inspiration and exemplify good sportsmanship. It's always a pleasure to hear your enthusiasm.
yes definitely need to do more videos like this and I like seeing Martyn out there with you guys.
No more questions like "can I do ______ on my _____ bike?" guys! Neil killed it on a plus bike!

Yeah, but it's all just for fun.
I think they chose them
What bike is blake riding on?
Dirt jumper
Actually on a challenge the same day he lost because of the missing front brake: th-cam.com/video/8kciKBkMwig/w-d-xo.html

I super enjoyed the video, thank you guys! I'm gonna go work on my bunnyhops right now lol!!!
I like that Blake is not as awkward as Scott and Neil.
I miss this kind of video :(
Neil nailed it!
any chance yall can do a review on GiantBikes? (i know... crap in comparison to all these pricey pushies) but i love my Giant
Awesome stuff gents!!
Martin is a living legend
Good to see Martin out of the shed
That chromed bike is sick...
You all got huge jumps! I would choose a dirt jump bike to try, like Blake did.
my favorite video
I grinned all the way through this. :D and did anyone else notice that Blake at about 4:57 had something like a 'challenge accepted' face???? Let's have a rematch. Thanks guys!!

It's more because bike type I think, mountain bikes have the tendency to do that. DJs not so much.
"It is all about the bunny hop technique" Neil and Scott! Haha just for laughs!
we use a limbo bar on our skills track...one of the most hottest competed obstacles with the young folk we work with. once your below handlebar height you need to pull out some fancy technique... give it a go lads!
It's great seeing Martyn so happy, just sad he couldn't be in it with them. Maybe he could have been on his electric Dual MTB.
Blake's got skills! (actually they all do, haha) I'd be lucky to clear the first height. I love seeing Martyn in these videos, the whole time I was watching I was thinking "Martyn would OWN this!".
0:45 OMG HE SID SUH DUDE HE'S IN ON MEMES
Magisteerium yea hahah

and martyn you are awesome

More host competitions!!!
Hi Gmbn I think you guys should do a tutorial on how to build jumps and a trail track
In the end Martin roasts everyone hahaha.
That was awesome to watch , subcriber for life !!!!
What’s up Gmbn? Martin is one of my favorite gmbn. I would love to see a video about him. and his mtb career. I recently seen a video where he said he was Blake’s team mate. I find that interesting .
We want bunny hop battle part 2
Great idea Parul!
