- Dark Fest 2024! The biggest jumps in the world including the notorious 110 foot dirt jump and epic trick step up. This is my favourite MTB event ever and I’m here for a full week to ride and trick these huge downhill freeride jumps. The wind and weather has been challenging but I can’t wait for some epic trains and riding footage!

I've been a life-time bmx rider (25 years of riding bmx) and 2024 is the first year I'm going to get into downhill MTB. I am so excited mate! This here looks like some of the most amazing MTB jumps ever! Stoked for you and everyone there, have fun and be safe!
I was the same, mtb is heaps of fun! Can be a bit more forgiving on the old joints too lol
Don't have that much experience with BMX, but did it growing up and now I'm into MTB, mostly DH and bike parks. The speed is the biggest difference, and the fact that you're actually riding down a mountain doesn't really come across on TH-cam. You just see the jumps or the berms, but it's a lot steeper in person, and on the other side of the berm and next to that jump is nothing but trees and rocks, none of which are fun crashing into. It's a blast though, you'll love it!!

Just made some big dirt jumps (that probably aren’t very big to you) and I can’t wait to ride them this weekend after I re-pack them since I just got rain right after I built them. They are pretty Lippy and I will continue the line on this weekend as well.

It's not a rule its just because after about 8 in the morning, it gets too hot to ride. So they do early morning and evening sessions.on the course.
