When Frank said "We're feeling a bit lazy today." I realized MY "lazy" would be Frank's catatonic!

Yep I'm sitting her with a back that won't hardly let me walk to the other side of the house and watching Frank run that pick. He's a Ironman! Do yah ever find any ore that could possibly pay with enough effort?

I hope they find a missed Ore patch!
      That'd be great for them!
They could possibly 'sell' souvenir ore.

Frank maybe you could call for volunteers to come with metal detectors and sweep the area where the miners had a camp set up a hundred years ago, 11:11 I know metal detector people love areas like you have there.

Pretty great what you and Sharon and any helpers have accomplished. When you were in the adet Frank, I see what the miners were going for......a quartz vein that went up & up right next to the hanging wall. Later in your film you confirmed that with your drone and we seen how that channel went all the way of the hill. Outstanding accomplishment, restoring this old mine for the public to view. (you had a "dream Frank", you made or are making it come true. Your quite the mine explorer and now MINER! Thanks for sharing your quest with us.

Just curious how much do those cart loads weigh, roughly… I’m sure you’ve probably have mentioned in one or more of videos, but would be interesting to know how much tonagage you all have removed by hand. Also impressed with how good that ore cart rolls fully loaded. As i have said before, incredible amazing work!

Hm...i wonder if they collapsed that entrance to increase the draft. I know in NA draft in one's house as ventilation is somewhat not that common in use, in favor of AC, but here in Europe we use it a lot to ventilate, to the point where our houses are built on these principles. And one key point is that at the top, you can't have too many openings and it's preferable to have one, big ventilation. You can have many at the bottom, just not at the top. So ... maybe that's why they collapsed it??? Just a working theory.
In my mind, if there's a group that knows twice as much as i know about draft, it's gotta be a miner (and firemen). Over the years i've seen some rather enlightening concepts of ventilation, passive or forced and you have to respect their technical minds, especially when you put into context, the highly irregular nature of the mine. It's easy for me to calculate the right path and all that, all i have to work with is walls and windows. They have to account quite a lot of other things.
