It was a spirited effort but the Australian Schools side have gone down 34-11 to New Zealand Schoolboys in front of a packed crowd at T.G. Millner Field.
You have poor selection for the Australian side being dominated by NSW players who didn't even reach the final of the Australian Schools Championships. Then you only have elite schools playing Rugby whereas in NZ Rugby is played everywhere so obviously what will be the result. Until Rugby makes an effort to be a truly popular rather than elite sport we will never beat NZ. Where are the great CHS teams as in the past? That great schools team of the late 70s was dominated by them.
