Thank you! Helps a lot! I don’t own a POD but I use this technique on my NUX MG30!

Great video Jon. Could you also record a few seconds onto the looper instead of playing the chords each time you adjust a preset? Might take any inconsistency out of the individual strumming.

    Great video, super helpful tho!
Can you make a video where you’re looping something and jamming on it? At the same time you show us the potential of the loop machine

Great idea! I have been struggling with my favorite setting (JCM 800) being pounder than my Fenderish presets. I’ll try it out.. thanks Jon

Where do you have the master volume of the 500X set at? I usually keep mine at 1/2 volume, just curious how you set yours.
Also, I’ve had a few “pre loaded” patches that are wildly different in volume. Can you show us some of the parameters you use (besides amp model volume) that you use to adjust volume on a patch to bring it more “in line” with the others.
    Thanks for all you help!

Looks cool, but the level of the track in your DAW depends also on the input level set on your interface. So how do you set this up?

Doesn't matter cause you're not gonna use your interface live. Your patches are gonna be on your effects unit, the interface acts like a mixer which you'd connect to normally in a live situation.

A guitar, HD500X w/ USB and headphones. How do I get the guitar audio into my DAW? (Using Guitar Tracks Pro 3) Does it "link" automatically or is there some other special equipment needed or anything I need to do? Thanks, Jon! New subscriber👍

I know someone who's selling a pod hd500x for second hand. Do I buy it?

I would definitely recommend it. Very versatile with the stereo outputs and waaaay cheaper than the Helix. I have 2 amps (one tube and one solid state) and the sounds you can achieve are mind blowing. Plus we have Jon here giving us guidance. I almost got rid of my POD before I discovered his videos.
