So glad you are making videos again! I really enjoy them. Great tips and pointers! Keep up the good work. I’ll start watching the new video right now. Thanks!
Thank you very much and I will let my wife now about the birthday wishes, appreciate those. I’ll definitely keep safe and you do the same. Good luck on any hunts that you have coming up
Beautiful video, thanks for the live dig as most of the guys use the 800 and dig to plug so you really don't get a chance to see the setup or tones. I haven't got the 800 YET but hey there is still ac chance, i'll be 73 at the end if the month and have been dropping hints like crazy to my wife of 45 years. Think she has noticed :)
Thank you for taking us with you. It’s really interesting what kinds of finds you dig out of the ground. I am happy about every video of yours and hope for many new ones. Take care, stay healthy and see you soon ☘️💫👍🤩
Kenny, I don't normally comment on vids, but I wanted to thank you for yours. I'm a new Indiana nox owner digging trash. I need to prove to my Mrs. Of the worthiness of it. Ur settings helped. 1946 ike dime. My 1st real find. Thanks! P.S. take care of the Mrs and she'll take care of you. Wish her a happy birthday from ur YT fans
That’s awesome that you got your first find that’s deemed a good one. The more research that you do finding older sites will produce some really cool stuff. Doesn’t have to always be a coin so make sure to dig some mid and low tones. Once you find that nice gold ring...you can take that home.. wife will tell you to go metal detecting... no asking needed. I actually found a silver trim from 1852 about a year and a half ago. I had a custom jeweler take it and put it in a surround so that it can be a pendant on a necklace. Some of the silver coins can make really cool necklaces.
A whopper of a good, though short, info packed little video. All of that and he bakes cake too. Happy Birthday to your wife. Glad I found your channel again, cause I had some computer problems, now subbed again. Hoping everyone is enjoying being with their loved ones. Never take it for granted.
Hi square nail you can change your iron bias but you have to set it before you change it from multi frequency so if you make that the very first thing you check you should be good
Appreciate you sharing your experience in tweaking the NOX to produce great hunts. I’m light years behind you, but this certainly helps bridge the gap and gives all us Minelab owners something to think about. Thanks!
Your welcome. I’m just like you... a detectorist. Dig into that machine and try out some settings. If you feel like you messed something up... just factory reset it and start again. Practice and field time will give you confidence. Question? Do you want to borrow my copy of an Equinox book about settings? I’ve sent it out before to be distributed around and it actually came back. I can send it to you. Email me at squarenailsquirrel at gmail
Glad that you’re back making videos again ! I’ve learned a lot from watching your videos and look forward to seeing many more in the future. Keep searching 👍🏻
Nice finds. Thanks for showing your settings on the NOX. I am still getting familiar with my 800 and seeing you setup and the sequence that you use helps. Take care and happy hunting.
Great finds Kenny!! Love them farm fields!! I've been running the Neil Jones program alot this year got me a 1771 spanish reale, a 1841 half dime, 1908 barber dime an my 1st 1909 barber quarter!! Lovin the 800 you sold me on, about too put the V3i an the sport up for sale!! Been anxious too run in just field one as of late as i hear its the deepest...Anyway best of luck too you, an keep them videos comin!! Stay safe my friend!!
Just like TheArgos12 stated... It’s a shovel that I bought at Home Depot in which I cut down to size. I have a video on how to cut it down if you look a little deeper in my published videos. I’m not much on spending $100 for a shovel.
I can’t believe how well this site has produced over the past three hunts that I have been out there. I hope to get back out to another site sometime soon. I have a pretty cool hunt that I have video clips in which I need to download and form a video from that I did this past week. It’ll be a pretty good one
Excellent hunt, amazing finds for sure. Yes, I also had to read over the iron bias info, a few times. You're good, and getting better. Y'all stay safe.
I’m thankful to have found what I have on this site but it seems like I never find any silver. You always find all kinds of awesome stuff especially that half dollar you found the other day. The current site that you were working is one heck of a place.
Square Nail Squirrel thanks man, I’m sure you will pop an old silver there if you keep working it. I’ve been off work for a week and a half because of all this crap going on, so I’ve been out almost everyday haha. Been working quite a few spots, I beat up that old swimming pool spot pretty good to where I wasn’t finding much, but this 1930 ballfield I’ve been hitting has never been detected and is loaded. It’s on privately owned property and the camp is cool enough to let me dig there. I’m the only person that’s asked to detect it. That franklin half was a too good to be true signal, I found that gold ring there today also, I asked one of the camp employees if there was ever someone that reported a lost ring and he said “no, but there was a gold necklace lost on a hill while a guest was sled riding a few winters ago” so that’s my next goal is to find that haha.
That washer in with the copper was crazy. That's why you always recheck your hole. Amazing half penny and CW token. Thanks for sharing, good luck, happy hunting and take care.
Amazing finds again! Love that Canadian half penny token. That horse-drawn carriage in the background was perfect. Lol happy hunting and stay safe out there especially with everything happening right now!
I’ve been wearing that decal on the side of my machine proudly, thanks for shipping that to me. Keep safe and good luck on any hunts that you have coming up
Thank you very much for your kind comments I try my best with every video. Sometimes I am a little bit more detail but during this hunt I had a lot on my mind due to the current times. I felt good to get out and metal intact and I’m glad that you enjoyed the video. I try to take everybody on the hunt with me versus just showing people what I’m doing
The lady's gold gilded button is a beautiful find 😀 Congrats on finding those coppers; those were nice surprises, weren't they!! ☺ All of your relic and coin saves are excellent; I truly enjoy your videos! 👍 You and your family stay safe and stay well 🤗
I have heard that folks that on the CTX either love it or hate it. The part that I have heard that is dislike the most is that it numbs itself out automatically to match a site making the machine very weak while detecting. I don’t know a lot about the machines but they sure do look cool.
Very nice finds Kenny. It pays to do your research. Little clues such as brick, pottery and small hilly areas are potential hot spots. Keep up the great videos and stay safe. H.H. _/
Good job Buddy always enjoy your video's...seemed like you were rushing things a bit. I miss the history lesson and such you used to put out.I guess things have changed for you a bit. I miss the way you used to make video's my friend. I don"t know what changed but something has...but I still enjoy watching your video's.
Under a lot of pressure and the sites I’ve had lately I’ve not been able to recover and written history about them.. other than mapping and a last name I can only relate the items I find as to being their history.
Hey Kenny thanks as always for a top notch video. How did you like running that single frequency, I’ve not done it much myself. Take care and stay healthy👍
The machine responds very differently and it will take time getting used to the higher signals because I found that iron sounds off a lot easier as a decent target when running single 5. When I used to run my whites machine in single 2.5 kHz are used to have the same response to iron. In the video that I will be uploading soon I run in a number 2 program for the whole hunt... I like the results from that much better than running a single frequency.
@@squarenailsquirrel9638 It's only low DC voltage. I did burn the date off an 1862 Indian Head penny once. I put it in and my ex-wife distracted me. I left it in way too long. LOL!
Vermont Derek gave you a shout out. He said, do you guys know what it takes to do the camera setup like the Squirrel Guy the Squared Squirrel Guy...Can't wait to do your settings.
Ha ha! I always make sure to edit out all the things that I say trying to set up my camera.. I always make sure to edit out all the things that I say trying to set up my camera. 😂😂 I couldn’t tell you how many times it falls over during the course of a hunt. There has been times that you couldn’t even tell it was my phone because it was so covered in mud. 🙂 Oh the joys of being a one-man band trying to film yourself metal detecting
The birthday cake turned out pretty good, two layers and a design that I could come up with using only three colors because that’s all we had in the food coloring. Try not to go out in public too much so a grassy meadow with some flowers that said happy birthday did the trick. I like to bake cakes.
Wei bist du.... there’s many great historical places in Amish Country, I also get many permission on land owned by plain farmers that are from the 1700’s in PA. Congratulations on your finds.
Beautiful button.
Happy wife happy ....... Nice hunt. Always enjoy you.
Cool finds

You can only adjust the iron bias in Multi Freq Mode. It is on page 52 of the manual.
Thank you for the info 👍🏻 It was new on me while out digging this site...I learn something everyday.
Another great video. Thanks for sharing.

Those Canadian bank 1837 tokens have migrated all the way West, found one here in Calif.
I had no idea what I found when I wipe the mud back on that one.

Shortened lowes or home depot trenching shovel.

I just dug one of those Canadian copper half penny bank tokens about 3 weeks ago, my first one, I thought it was a large cent. Really cool.
I have no idea what I had pulled out of the ground when that one showed up. I just knew that it felt very different then a large cent.
Great hunt. That half penny was completely awsome. You found alot of cool things this hunt. I can't wait to see what else comes from place.

That 1837 Bank Token is cool. What I read is they were actually minted in 1838 (kinda odd). I hope you like your Equinox, I hate my Minelab CTX-3030.

Great vid feels good to get out once in a while doesn’t it I have been doing the same take care nice finds have a good one
We all enjoy finding old coins and tokens but to me there is something very special about buttons.
The 1837 penny according to the book is worth 100 bucks in very good condition of course
I’ve always thought that the fertilizers used on farm fields made coppers more corroded than those found at other sites. What do you think?
Thank you very much!
I found a 1844 penny from bank of Montreal also. Must have made Alot of them

Hey, I'm getting the hang of the US coins, I had the ID on the Matron Head before you said it. Great video as always buddy. ATB MMMD
Nice finds!
A quick 5 min electrolysis bath will do a world of good on those coins and tokens without damaging them.
I haven’t done electrolysis on a coin in awhile. I just always get really nervous whenever I plug something in that has wires running into water. 😂
