Very good tutorial, I chose to get one of those USB to radio things took about 2 min to set up and I can take my calls easier, save myself half the day. and it has many other uses along with it.
I brought a bluetooth thing u put in the car cigarette lighter socket much easier but the only thing u got to do is pair it with bluetooth with your mobile phone
Hey Adrian, your videos are great, they helped me a lot. Did you ever had an issue with activation of AUX2 in RD4 from 2012? With Lexia I can change input from mode missing to reserved to kml/nomad. My original handsfree radio works well, through aux1, but i also want to actvate AUX2 to use aux cable from headphone jack. Lexia works well because when I am changing aux1 from kml/nomad to conventional, I can choose aux input on my radio, but I i have still missing AUX2 when changing source of my radioreceiver.

I bought a 2009 Peugeot 308 with RD4 radio and the previous owner had already installed the AUX cable. I connected my phone with Spotify playing songs and it plays fine, however the controls behind the steering wheel don't work. I can raise the volume from the radio knob, but not from the controls behind the steering wheel, and next or previous song I have to do it on the phone. You're raising the volume from behind the wheel in the video. The car reads the AUX input so I guess it's already activated with Diagbox.
I don't know why you can not adjust the volume from the controls behind the steering wheel, however when using the AUX IN function thet next or previous song can only be used on the phone.
@@dustraider2940 This is only has the Audio Line In function and you can not control next and previous song. Perhaps with the original Bluetooth Peugeot.

Hello. Your car already has the AUX IN function activated, so you don't have to activate it anymore. Just plug in the Bluetooth module and it will work fine.
hello so i just did all this but when the diagbox is connected and i go to radio menu it works perfectly just like in the video but when i disconnect the diagbox it seems like the radio is deactivated i cant turn it on anyway and when i go to menu screen with the multifunction screen audio setting is like creyed out if that maxes sense. i have also tryed to disconect the aux and revert the change in ecu but the problem percists. any help would be apreciated.

Yes, when upgrading to an RD45, you need to reprogram it. I assume you had an RD3 or an RD4 previously installed. Fortunately, doing such a thing at a qualified Peugeot mechanic doesn't cost much.

Hello. I'm sorry, but I don't know what the steps would be to enable AUX on this RT3. However, try to activate AUX IN audio using Diagbox, you may also have to connect the cable to the radio jack in the dedicated audio aux in port.
Hey Adrian, I recently bought a 207 Sport. I tried to connect with the aux port but it didnt work. Then I bought a 12-pin aux cable and installed it like you in this video. The aux 1 input was already activated when I bought the car but it still doesnt work. Tried with two different phones (iOS and android) but there was no sound coming out of the speakers. Could it be that the radio is faulty? Also, the seller I bought the cable from said it works for 207 RD4 from Bosch, but my RD4 is from Continental. Could that also be an issue?
Hello. There are two AUX IN. I think your cable is configured for AUX 2, I don't think the radio can be faulty. One more thing: did you say that you already have AUX IN activated, you don't have two RCA plugs in the glove box?
@@AdrianDragan Thanks for the reply Adrian. Yes, AUX IN was already activated (I bought the car used) but I dont have two RCA plugs in the glove box. Only one AUX IN in the middle console at the bottom, next to a USB port. (just behind the gearshifting stick). But that AUX port didnt work, so I bought the cable. When I press the 'source' button on the radio it changes between radio and AUX IN 1. So I did the same like you in the video. (same spot for the 12 pin connector) I am really clueless atm.

@@AdrianDragan I did, I think what has happened is the previous owner installed a PARROT hands free phone kit and it got connected to the radio so the RCA slots are not operatable now. I will need to unplug the parrot and see what is going on.

I just received the Bluetooth module from AliExpress for the rd4 in a c2 and I'm going to test it today... From a first look the only difference I can see is that the Bluetooth module also needs 12v from the battery or a 12v rail nearby the radio. I haven't removed my radio to see if it's easy enough but I guess it'll be, even if you don't use a soldering tool to make it look like an OEM's job. It cost me 6.73€ shipping included and I live in South Europe. Took 23 days to be delivered. I'll let you know the results soon.
@@amirbazzi1718 Yes of course. I've installed it and it works fine. I used two Scotch locks for the two power wires of the Bluetooth module. I Scotch locked the red wire with the +12v wire of the radio and the black wire with the radio's gnd wire so as the module gets power same time as the radio. Hello. Remove that socket from the large socket. That socket is for AUX IN equipment but was not installed at the factory, so it is unusable. You can plug the plug into your cable instead of that white socket.

I can raise the volume from the radio knob, but not from the controls behind the steering wheel, and next or previous song I have to do it on the phone. You're raising the volume from behind the wheel in the video. The car reads the AUX input so I guess it's already activated with Diagbox.
I don't know why you can not adjust the volume from the controls behind the steering wheel, however when using the AUX IN function thet next or previous song can only be used on the phone.

Hello. Your car already has the AUX IN function activated, so you don't have to activate it anymore. Just plug in the Bluetooth module and it will work fine.

hello so i just did all this but when the diagbox is connected and i go to radio menu it works perfectly just like in the video but when i disconnect the diagbox it seems like the radio is deactivated i cant turn it on anyway and when i go to menu screen with the multifunction screen audio setting is like creyed out if that maxes sense. i have also tryed to disconect the aux and revert the change in ecu but the problem percists. any help would be apreciated.

Yes, when upgrading to an RD45, you need to reprogram it. I assume you had an RD3 or an RD4 previously installed. Fortunately, doing such a thing at a qualified Peugeot mechanic doesn't cost much.

Hello. I'm sorry, but I don't know what the steps would be to enable AUX on this RT3. However, try to activate AUX IN audio using Diagbox, you may also have to connect the cable to the radio jack in the dedicated audio aux in port.

Hey Adrian, I recently bought a 207 Sport. I tried to connect with the aux port but it didnt work. Then I bought a 12-pin aux cable and installed it like you in this video. The aux 1 input was already activated when I bought the car but it still doesnt work. Tried with two different phones (iOS and android) but there was no sound coming out of the speakers. Could it be that the radio is faulty?
Also, the seller I bought the cable from said it works for 207 RD4 from Bosch, but my RD4 is from Continental. Could that also be an issue?
Hello. There are two AUX IN. I think your cable is configured for AUX 2, I don't think the radio can be faulty.
One more thing: did you say that you already have AUX IN activated, you don't have two RCA plugs in the glove box?

Only one AUX IN in the middle console at the bottom, next to a USB port. (just behind the gearshifting stick). But that AUX port didnt work, so I bought the cable. When I press the 'source' button on the radio it changes between radio and AUX IN 1. So I did the same like you in the video. (same spot for the 12 pin connector)

I just received the Bluetooth module from AliExpress for the rd4 in a c2 and I'm going to test it today... From a first look the only difference I can see is that the Bluetooth module also needs 12v from the battery or a 12v rail nearby the radio. I haven't removed my radio to see if it's easy enough but I guess it'll be, even if you don't use a soldering tool to make it look like an OEM's job. It cost me 6.73€ shipping included and I live in South Europe. Took 23 days to be delivered. I'll let you know the results soon.

@@amirbazzi1718 Yes of course. I've installed it and it works fine. I used two Scotch locks for the two power wires of the Bluetooth module. I Scotch locked the red wire with the +12v wire of the radio and the black wire with the radio's gnd wire so as the module gets power same time as the radio. Really easy and took me less than 20 minutes including the aux source activation.

Hello. Remove that socket from the large socket. That socket is for AUX IN equipment but was not installed at the factory, so it is unusable. You can plug the plug into your cable instead of that white socket.
