Thank you for taking the time to make this video and share your knowledge. I read how to do it but it's always better to see it. It worked well except for the weak volume but this is link to the impedance. I will try to use a headphone amp.

Nice , ive been using an fm radio blootooth adapter and the quality of playback through the fm signal is rubbish , fortunately ive got a lexia so im going to do this mod to my 2007 mk2 c5 exclusive , Thank you for posting this . its good when you can keep the original kit in the car and adapt it.
Do you hit the Source button on the front panel of radio to choose the AUX input?? How you choose between radio stations, CD and AUX?

Hello, I've just installed the aux cable where the bluetooth socket was (left side B) but I've noticed the sound is weaker via smartphone than CD player. Any recomendations?

Great vids. I have done it after you video, but is sounds a bit funny. All the bass and song come from the left side and a right side sounds just a bit. I have tried different AUX cabels, but all the same.

Did exactly this, enabled auxes too. The problem is, sound from aux is very silent (need to max the volume to barely hear it) and most of it is going through the front panel speaker. Radio and cd work fine. Tried changing the aux wire, used different 3,5mm cables too, same issue. Any ideas? :)

Hey! i just bought a peugeot 407, it also has a RD4 and i have aux cable with adapter (similiar to yours). the connecting process looks easy, however, do i need to activate (configure aux input) to make it work? right now, when i press source, it switches between FM and Input 2 AUX. Is it already activated in my case?
Hi,You have enabled aux2, it's different pinout on the connector.

Thank you, figured it out! Found a scheme of RD4, apparently the cable with the connector that i got was for AUX1. So i just moved the pins (using the scheme) so it uses AUX2. Works like a charm :)

Dear Sir, at 13:42 you switched reading radio configuration to writing and somehow you logged in to options to change the details of the "missing" no1 input. I can read and see these details with my Lexia and Citroen C4 Picasso, i put the cable to the correct place, but i can not change the "missing" option at Lexia, i can noz change the values :/

You need to connect lexia 3 (diagnostic tool, see links in video description), to activate aux input.

You can install the aux, then go to the citroen service or someone who have lexia 3 and ask them to activate the aux option.

@@MyCarIsCitroen i don't think so. The jack has three wires that goes to the upper left-hand corner of its plug. The technician when activated the auxiliary said that the "brain" shows a fault
