Deserves to be in the hall of fame. Dont care what happened when he went Seattle. He is a pioneer and won 2 super bowls for two cities as a coach. Did this under Al who was suing the NFL at the time and I'm sure it was hard af to win. Not to mention the First minority coach to win a SUPER BOWL and he did it TWICE. 2019 better be his year!
Tom Flores coached during one of the greatest times of football! He coached real Warriors real ball players ! Hes definitely a REAL RAIDER! RAIDER NATION BABY!! RN4L!!!

Even as a little kid I recognized him as a classy guy.
He tried to come and help out my Seahawks, but he didn't have much to work with. He belongs in the Hall for sure.
He's in now, thankfully. I agree though, what happened in Seattle shouldn't have been held against him all these years.

Well not really. The first Mexican-American coach in the NFL was actually Tom Fears born and lived his early life in Sonora Mexico, he was head coach of the expansion New Orleans Saints in 1967. Truth be told, Fears was the first Mexican-American in the HOF (1970). He was also the first Mexican American to play for a championship NFL team (LA Rams 1951) and even caught the winning 73 yard touchdown bringing LA its first NFL championship.
Love Flores but these are true facts.
HE ALSO DESTROYED MARCUS ALLENS CAREER….ABND DIED AN UNREPENTANT SINNER AND WORKED AGAINST CHRISTIANS….TWO SIDES TO EVERY COIN….

Concerning firsts: Tom Flores was the first and only Raiders head coach to win two Super Bowls. Yet it took more than 20 years for the NFL HOF to call. He was Mexican not Mexican't.
Why is he not in the HOF?

I once by chance ran into coach Flores at a gas station in Fresno were I live. He's a real humble person. The NFL it's a sham. They want to promote diversity, putting him in canton would be a huge step foward.

Only 3 Mexicans that I can think of in the hall of fame - Tom Fears , Anthony Munoz and a half Mexican American Tony Gonzalez... they don’t want to let us Mexicans in .. the USA 🇺🇸 has never been only a black and white world , brown people have been here since day 1
