Hey Guys! I love that you guys want to see us react to more videos together! We really appreciate it! We also have 2 other channels together where we'd love if you guys would check them out and support if you enjoy them!
The first one has challenges, vlogs, and dates: youtube.com/@DarionMakensey?si=LeEr88Va-BX40sin
Second one we review reality tv shows together: youtube.com/@TheRealityJunkies?si=sLr-gRJhlY85acoA
We love and appreciate you guys so much!
This is a millennial, not a true Australian. Ffs get real. Talk to ACTUAL Aussies, not some child
🙄🙄🤡💩🧠🤬 worse.... you don't reply. Its just another multi media channel who pays no mind to those who listen.... Sad
We call pigeons flying rats.
We traditionally use beetroot on burgers the same way pickles are used, to give that slight tartness on your burger. It works and it's delicious
To translate for Americans, our beetroot is "canned pickled sliced beets". Pretty much mandatory on any cafe or corner store burger along with your lettuce and tomato and grilled onion. Also appears on selected special burgers at McDonalds & Hungry Jacks, but their "brand name" burgers like Big Macs etc are just the same as in the USA.
New Zealand approves.
Australian banknotes also have tactile features of raised bumps, different for each note, which make it easier for blind and sight impaired people to use.
Plus is one of the hardest currencies to forge
You two are great together, love this! Keep the Dazza and Macca content coming ❤
Never understood the thing buying alcohol the same place you buy your medication They aren't meant to go together
i have never seen a chemist selling alcohol in Australia, which ones do that?
@@iancremmins4727 They don't in Australia, I was talking about America
@@gregmayoaussie my bad, the question was asked of the girl in Australia about Australia, i thought it was unusual because i have never seen it sold in chemists/pharmacy and she answered she doesnt know why, so i thought it was a thing. when you commented i thought you had seen it thinking you were australian i asked where, glad we cleared that up
@@gregmayoaussie i know
@@iancremmins4727 I think you'll find she was saying she wouldn't know why anyone would sell alcohol at the same place as medication, in the mixing drugs sense.
G'day Makenzie, nice to have ya onboard hon. Cute couple for sure ❤
Love meeting you Sam. You and Neil are a lovely couple. Keep up the good work 👍
She comes from northern Australia which is tropical. No one in Melbourne would go around in bare feet except perhaps for a very few days a year. Huge continent with different climates.
3:21 The Kangaroo and Emu are the only two animals that CAN NOT walk backwards, THATS why we Australians have it on our coat of arms, currency and why we are so proud of eating them. The Emu kicks at its enemies like a Velociraptor and the Kangaroo will shape up to anything that gets close enough to attack… anything!
Love beetroot on burgers. Love pineapple on pizza also. Nice to see your partner Neal. Happiness to you both ❤
Bin chickens aren't pigeons but Australian ibis, or Brolgas. They're actually fairly large birds and they're 're EVERYWHERE, browsing around in large numbers. There's a whole flock of them in my backyard right now. They're born all-black, then gradually turn white over the years. When you see an all-white brolga, it's an old bird and hasn't got long to go. They're very sociable and happily mingle with other species. It's very common to see them socialising with flocks of geese. They seem to spend most of their time on the ground but are in fact strong fliers.
Ibis are Not Brolgas! Brolgas belong to the Crane family, over 1 metre tall, pale grey, mate for life & known for their intricate showy dances.
Tomato sauce v. Ketchup… this one always gets me… we call ours tomato sauce… BECAUSE IT MADE DIFFERENTLY. We also have ketchup, it’s sweeter and less tangy. There’s definitely a difference.
Yes! Would love to see more videos with both of you. As long as it doesn't cause any produce based arguments between you two, like what kind of fruits belong where, lol. Vegetables shouldn't be an issue obviously. Loved this. ❤
Guys, think about it, beet"root" it's in the name, its a root, like carrots and parsnip and swede turnip, they all veggies lol.
Beetroot, has to come from a can pre sliced and sweet pickled, best stuff ever on a burger or in a salad (Aussie summer salad that is).
Your laughter explains why people like hanging out with Aussies.
Birds are called Ibis. They usually live in the middle of Australia but because of drought they couldn’t eat, drink or breed. They migrated thousands of kilometres to the cities to survive!
Pineapple on pizza and Beetroot on burgers . Its compulsory.
No.
@@dcmastermindfirst9418Yep

My oath it is. not Australia if you don’t..
@@aussiekat6379 I'm from Adelaide.
No.
There are no kangaroos on the Australian Flag. We have a kangaroo and emu on our Australian emblem. They are both on the emblem because a kangaroo and emu can't walk backwards. It symbolises that Australia is always moving forward.
Neil as you are now an honorary Aussie I feel that I can say this to you.
Mate you are punching way above your weight. 😊😊
Congrats guys, great rewatch. Make sure you solve the pineapple question before you tie the knot (Hint Neal you're wrong :P). Def put her in more videos!
Australian notes also have different patterns of dots embossed into them so that the blind can quickly recognise what denominations they are dealing with.
Even weirder, as I understand it, American notes today look like copies of American notes 100 years ago. They never changed, and they still are the most easily counterfeited currency in the world.
You two are so cute together ❤
Welcome to the tube girlfriend. Hey Neal, your girlfriend looked like she had a good time reacting us silly Aussies. I’m sure she’ll be be back to react to more in the future. Only under one proviso, she must try Vegemite…. Ha ha ha. All the best from Melbourne Australia
Want to see more of you BOTH it was fun.
Love to see you BOTH do more reactions together. Cheers 🍻 from OZ. ✌️
Tomato Sauce vs Ketchup similar but taste different. We mostly use tomato sauce but you can get different brands of ketchup as well. Pineapple does NOT belong on burgers or pizzas. Beetroot absolutely on Aussie burgers, along with lettuce tomato onion bacon cheese a fried egg and tomato sauce. Hamburger with "the lot". Perfect. Not big on American burger fillings like pickles mayo etc. Just different tastes.
So proud of Neal being able to explain things about Oz to Makensey👌👏💖, and I'm on Macs team re pineapple on pizza 😊
Pineapple on pizza, beetroot on burgers and Monopoly games. Three issues that divide Australian families and destroy relationships.
G'day Guys! Yes to having your lovely better half on the 'show!" Growing up in the 60's & 70's I adored a burger with the lot! At my local place that meant a bun with the obvious meat pattie with lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese, beetroot, egg, pineapple and a choice of sauce and they were just AWESOME!!!!! Cheers!
OMG you two are adorable ❤ was fun rewatching this video again with you both
Love your happy smile and personality.
Enthusiasm for life. Great.
.Absolutely bring more of Makensie.(Spelling sorry if it’s wrong)
Love watching!
The Bin Chicken is a White Australian Ibis.
She's so funny and exact
I don't know who this bird is but for an Aussie, she knows stuff all about Australia. We are top 10-15 in both literacy and numeracy. In fact, she may be the dopiest Australian to be answering these questions, or maybe the most common 20-something year old who thinks she knows anything.
She’s a comedian. She knows the correct answers. It’s a joke.
Kangaroo meat is a thing, however can tell you for a FACT that MOST us Aussie's don't eat kangaroo or crocodile, a very small percentage of us maybe lol
I so appreciate how you get us Ozzies Neally, love ya work mate
Nice to see your beautiful better half Neal. You've done well. Welcome to the Aussie VLOG Mackenzie.
Yeh mate put her in more vids it's good to see both of y'all reactions.
This was great, you two react well together….future wife?? Well we expect an Aussie honeymoon then
"you tore it up" called out bro 😂😂
I have to say I love your partner. More of this please 😂
Kangaroo meat is delicious - kind of gamey. I had it in a stir-fry last week 😊
We even put curse words in the middle of a word, such as absof…inglutly
😂 yeah
We now have the Kangaroo Wopper, made from kangaroo meat and that's because maccas ha the big roo "kangaroo big mac" for 6 weeks. both have bad coffee
hey mate we would all love to see your fiance in more reaction vids and fyi kangaroo meat is 99% fat free has more iron and protien then beef tastes awesome as long as its cooked right if it aint red it aint gettin eatin
Nice to see you guys interact
Hi Makenzie, nice to meet you.
Wow. I've been subscribed for ages. Love to see you together ❤️.
IVE NEER SEEN A SHOEY EVER
Keep it up guys love the banner between you two
Yes more vids with both of you guys 🎉
We been wondering why you kept her from us so long. Look forward to seeing her again
So happy for the both of you :)
White Ibris / bin chicken tend to hang around wetlands but also tips & bins. Native to wetlands
FAve Pizza is a Hawaiian... ham n pineapple, just yum! Pineapple on a burger is to die for, corner shop burger with the lot.... beef pattie, onion, egg, lettuce, tomato, beetroot, bacon, pineapple. Then there is the pineapple fritter sprinkled with icing sugar.
The 'shoey' is not a thing in Australia. The story is that, a guy called Ryal Harris, an Aussie racing driver, celebrated on the podium doing that back in 2015. He took his race boot off, pour some champagne in it, and drank off it. Then a couple of years later another Aussie driver called David Reynolds did it, and then a Formula 1 driver from Australia, Daniel Ricciardo, did it on an F1 podium and THERE is when it became viral and people started to do it everywhere.
EDIT: The 'shoey' is supposed to be done when you're celebrating a victory or a milestone or something like that.
Cheers from Argentina!
Shoeys have been done a lot longer than that my dad was doing them in the late 80’s they are most definitely massive here and happen a whole lot
Yes that was awesome.
Depends on my mood. ill have pineapple on my pizza sometimes.. same as olives and anchovies.
Notes are different sizes and colours for the benefit of low vision people like my grandson who relies on those cues to help distinguish between denominations.
She's wrong about thing, not all places around Australia charge 50 cents for sauce with the pie. Some cafes or bakeries ect but most you get free sauce, she SHOULD know that lol
Just a correction..Australia has a very high literacy rate
Yeah mate, bring her on more vidoes 👍
I have eaten kangaroo and it is delicious but I couldn't continue to eat the national emblem of the Country. 😁 Crocodile is also delicious and I don't feel the least bit sentimental about it 😂
To explain the shoey thing. It's like saying you don't give a fuck. Like how Americans smash cans on their head after chugging them
Definitely a highschool or university level thing to do
Good point about the monopoly being such a long game it makes little sense to play if you're not trying to win. I agree 100% with that. No mercy. No loans. Nothing. I'm in it to win it baby !!
Dtn hardly no one eats kangaroo meat in Australia , most people have tried it but they prefer steak .. in a burger it's hard to taste the difference between beef and kangaroo...and supermarkets only have about 5 packets of kangaroo meat and 100s of packets of beef...so that proves hardly no one eats it ,even though kangaroo is more healthier for you than beef...it makes you think when you eat roo .this dude was just hoping around last week.😊.
Beetroot is what you call Beets! not hard to figure out!🙄
Kangaroo is the leanest meat which makes it chewy unless marinaded. Chemist don't sell alcohol because most medications advise against the use of alcohol.
THE Americans belief IS QUANTITY the Australian belief QUALITY
Shoey good it's alcohol no gems all dead from the alcohol
It's started as dares and Aussie's always stands up
Neal atleast your bird has a sense of humour
Barefoot because we weren't born with shoes on out feet made made thing
Out indigenous people walked our Barefoot through the deserts and rain forests
Why do people enjoy walking on beach sand and ocean Barefoot because enjoyable
We just keep enjoying that same feeling
Cheers guys 🦘🇦🇺👍
Hahah ate Australian shaped Parmi flavoured shapes while watching this, can you get more Australian 🤣
About Chemists... 🤔 we have more regard for those places that primarily (originally) are there to dispense prescription medications. Plus there are laws about such things!!
Kangaroo mate is very good for dogs
Slightly off topic, but still strangely on topic for the early vid.
"Money" and "Currency" are not the same thing. Money is a "Commodity", Currency is not a commodity.
"Currency" (Notes) can only be used for "Trade" and nothing else. Is representative of a value but has no value itself. (A 'Note' has no value beyond 'Trade')
"Money" (varies) is a commodity and can be used for things other than "Trade". Example, Gold, can be used for trade, adornment and electronics. ('Money' as value beyond 'Trade')
To further illustrate the point.
"Chicken Eggs".
Eggs COULD be used as money, they have many uses, and they can also be used for trade, but eggs make crappy "Money", due to losing their value quickly through fragility and going rotten.
Money and Currency are not the same thing, but it is perfectly understandable why people think they are the same (as i used to do).
Sorry, couldn't help it. Please forgive.
About 25% of all pizzas ordered in Australia have pineapple on it.
You know what's hilarious about you two. It's usually black people I have a hard time understanding yet with you two it's the other way round
Pharmacies don't sell alcohol because alcohol conflicts with most medications
Bin chickens are actually a noble bird, actually an Ibis. The reason they are in the cities is because their environment in country, is because being destroyed by humans.
Pineapple is great. It goes on everything
The modern Australian currency was brought in effect primarily to combat Counterfeiting b/c it's made with plastics thus becomes even harder to reproduce especially since a small part of it is clear plastic + we added braille symbols so the blind know the value of it. Same goes with our coins, different sizes and shapes mean there is little chain a blind person won't know.
Kangaroo meat is delicious & it isso leans it needs to be eaten medium rare ... great food for dogs though
Correct, never show mercy when playing Monopoly.
Australia just released 50cent coin celebrating the sausage sizzle.
Australian money is also leading the world in anti-counterfit technology. Such that the polymer note technology was exported to other countries, and we actually print the money for many other countries at this point. Also the different sizes help those vision impared, and the different colours means no-one mistakes a fiver for a fifty, or does the "bait and switch" that's common in American low-illumination businesses.
As to the beetroot on a burger, it depends on the burger, and there are beetroot strainers for a reason, you keep the beetroot slices in that, pull up the middle bit, give it a second, all the juices etc strains down, you take the slice out and put it on your beef burger (not a chicken or fish one), with some lettuce and other toppings of your choice. It's not wet then, doesn't make the bun soggy etc. I'm a "sometimes person" on them myself, but it's an acceptable part of a "burger with the lot". Extra good in summer, not so much a winter food.
Here's one that seems to have got lost over the decades have you ever had a pineapple frita pineapple covered in batter
We do not have kangaroos on our flag, we have one on our coat of arms along with an emu.
we put alcohol in our shoes to drown the spiders
More of the missus please, you 2 have a natural synergy.
From the little I heard, did I hear a southern belle-like accent from her ?
the U.S., Liberia and Myanmar that uses the imperial system, not just the USA .
Lol wow so many countries 🙄
Our money also contains many security features that are very nearly impossible to counterfeit. We used to have 1 and 2 dollar notes but now only have 5 10 20 & 100. The rest are coins, starting at 5 cents, 10 20 50 $1 and $2. The 1 and 2 cent coins were phased out as i thin they cost more to make than they we were worth. There are videos about our money if you would like to react to those. If i track it down I will add it as a reply to this message for you :)

Broccolie? Never heard anyone say it like that, she must be from a small town.
If im making a burger, it has to have beetroot, bacon and a runny fried egg in there somewhere.
This generation can get things wrong like bottle shop that sells alcoholic but you get people like this lady calls them bottle o. That is a name of a bottle shop, like Thirsty Camel, BWS, Liquorland & so on.
True, but it's been slang for bottleshop for decades now, don't know what Rick you've been living under🤷🏻♀️
@@helenmckeetaylor9409 Haven't been living under any Rick but still haven't heard one person calling a bottle shop a bottle o. Maybe where you live but not where I live.
Shoeys are fine. We never wear our shoes so they’re pretty clean 😂
Uh we did used to have $1 and $2 notes in the 80's $1 was brown $2 was green we replaced them with coins. Kangaroo tastes alright it's just steak you have to cook it right though because of parasites. And yeah our pizza have been getting smaller for decades look at a large nowdays it's maybe a little bigger than a dinner plate.
I remember the pizzas used to have the plastic thing in the centre of it so the lid didn't sink into the pizza
Now they're half the size
Gday neal you have a ripper Sheila
Shoees we don't do its just a party thing
Kangaroo meat is the best meat. It is super lean and very healthy Red and the Tail.. well, the tail is where the magic is also at but only if you like fat.
Pineapple on pizza is like having ice cream with your steak.
Kangaroo is nice, like a gamey beef
